Chapter Ninety-Seven: Loki and Natasha's Battle of Tricks

“I happen to be an enemy of that guy in S.H.I.E.L.D. named Gale, and you happen to be his friends. I won’t kill you, I’ll just control you, make you tools of slaughter once again, make you watch as everyone in S.H.I.E.L.D., everyone in New York, and even everyone on Earth turns to ashes. And you people are the culprits who caused their destruction. The expressions on your faces will be quite a sight then.” Loki’s voice was filled with bloodthirsty cruelty, each word like a heavy hammer pounding into Natasha’s heart.

Natasha looked at Loki with a horrified expression, her eyes filled with panic: "What have you done?"

Loki tilted his golden scepter slightly, pointing it towards Natasha's chest. The Mind Stone slowly began to emit a dazzling light, and his face was filled with a terrifying smile: "S.H.I.E.L.D. has three secretly manufactured sky carriers. I've heard that each one is equipped with a danger assessment and analysis system, as well as corresponding new long-range precision-targeting weapons. They can eliminate two thousand enemies per minute, and no matter where these enemies hide, they cannot escape the attack of these new long-range precision-targeting weapons."

"How wonderful it would be if the terrorists in the danger assessment and analysis system became the relatives and friends of Gale and all the agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. And I, Loki, the god of lies and trickery, would grant you the honor of standing by my side and personally controlling one of the Sky Carriers."

Natasha couldn't help but back away, and Loki's golden scepter moved in tandem with her, yet always maintained a tiny distance.

"Are you just going to use the Sky Carrier to kill Gale and all the relatives of S.H.I.E.L.D. agents? If that's the case, Gale will definitely stop you."

Loki admired the despair on Natasha's face, his voice tinged with suppressed madness: "He doesn't have time to deal with the Sky Carrier. Of course, he could, but that would depend on whether he's saving people he knows or everyone on Earth."

Just then, Natasha was cornered, and Loki pointed the tip of his golden scepter at her chest.

Loki's expression was also full of arrogance, as if victory was assured.

"bite."

Suddenly, a faint clanging sound of metal seemed to ring out. Loki's expression faltered slightly, and then he touched the tip of his golden scepter again, causing the Mind Stone to emit an extremely dazzling light.

But then there was another "ding," and the Mind Gem had no effect whatsoever.

"Why."

Just then, a soft sigh rang out, echoing in the small space. Loki turned around in surprise and clearly recognized it as Gol's voice.

Even after two years, he will never forget!

Outside the glass room, there was indeed Ger's figure, but next to him stood that extremely terrifying woman, Wanda!

“Germany, this room is too small. This is all the information I can get.”

Just then, Loki heard Natasha's calm words beside him. Loki seemed to understand something, and with a look of shock, he turned to look at Natasha again.

At this moment, Natasha had shed her despair and pain, and her face only showed the faint smile she usually wore when completing a mission. She winked at Loki, tapped the steel collar around her neck, and then the steel collar quickly expanded, forming a close-fitting nanoparticle steel suit along Natasha's body.

"broken!"

Gel's cold voice slowly came from outside the cell, and with a loud bang, the cell glass was completely shattered, and Natasha quickly controlled her Iron Man suit and flew out of the cell.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Natasha's playful voice came from her nanoparticle-infused Iron Man suit, and even though Loki couldn't see her face, he could imagine the smile on it.

It was a victorious smile, exactly the same one he had when he used to toy with others.

This time, however, he was the one being manipulated.

Loki's expression froze completely, his gaze towards Natasha filled with undisguised killing intent. However, just as he was about to split himself, he suddenly realized something was amiss, looking at the gray characters floating around him.

A moment later, Loki suddenly frowned: "Runic?"

“You guessed right, but unfortunately, there’s no prize.” Gol stared intently at Loki, his face full of mockery.

During their conversation, Wanda turned her head towards Natasha, stretched out her arms slightly, and chaotic energy surged towards Natasha, opening a spatial portal beside her.

Wanda sighed, "Sister Natasha, you should go ahead. I'm afraid things will get chaotic outside soon."

Natasha glanced at Wanda, her voice filled with helplessness and encouragement: "I'm going now. Please take care of yourselves. I'll be waiting for you."

After saying that, Natasha entered the portal, which then quickly closed.

During this time, Loki simply watched their actions coldly without making any reaction.

A moment later, Loki walked slightly toward Gol and stared intently into Gol's eyes: "The Runeven needs to be re-engraved every so often. You don't know why I would spend so much effort re-engraving it while I'm still alive?"

Gel smiled slightly: "If someone has ill intentions, then the Raft Prison is definitely their best choice. After all, Natasha, Rogers, Potts, Tony, and even several very talented scientists are imprisoned here. Therefore, Runevan's writing is to catch these people with ill intentions, and that person happens to be you."
