Chapter 121 Departure, Towards Outer Space

Before he could finish speaking, Loki was about to kneel down when Gol quickly restrained him, preventing him from doing so.

Immediately afterwards, Gel sighed slightly, looked at the dark sea around him, and with a thought, opened a spatial portal and gestured to Loki.

But Loki just stared at the portal, not daring to go through it at all.

"Aren't you going in?" Gel turned around, looked at Loki who was hesitating, and said without any emotion.

He had gone from being an Asgardian god to an ordinary mortal, and after enduring so much torment on this island, reduced to his current state, it was fair to say that Gol's hatred for him had almost completely dissipated. But so many things had happened because of him; it was impossible for not a trace of hatred to remain in his heart.

Therefore, Geer could only try to treat Loki as a stranger.

Loki stared at the portal before Gruul, and for some reason, he suddenly felt a pang of fear. He so desperately wanted to see those he longed to see day and night, but now, looking like this…

Loki took two steps, then slowly retreated, looking at Gol with pleading eyes.

Gel sighed softly, flicked his finger, and a surge of chaotic energy flowed into Loki's body. Then, Loki's hair automatically shaved off, his beard fell off, and his somewhat weathered face instantly became exactly the same as it had been a year ago.

Loki felt a surge of power coursing through his body, instantly feeling refreshed. He looked at Gale and sincerely said, "Thank you."

Then, Loki took a deep breath, glanced at Gol, and resolutely took a few steps, stepping into the other side of the portal.

Gol didn't follow. He simply closed the portal after Loki stepped inside and then stared blankly at the distant sea. It wasn't a good time for him or Wanda to get involved, so he left the space to Loki.

Asgard, Frigga's bedroom.

"Why are you so hesitant today? The portal has been open for ages and you still haven't come over." Frigga was chatting with Thor, and the campfire in the brazier next to them made the chilly night feel much warmer.

Thor also looked curiously in the direction of the portal. Logically speaking, Wanda rarely came to Asgard this late, so what could be the reason for her coming at this time?

Immediately afterwards, the two saw Loki slowly walk in from the other side of the portal.

"Ding."

Thor immediately stood up and strode towards Loki, saying with a mixture of surprise and anger, "Wanda, did you use illusion magic to turn into Loki and trick me? If so, I'm really going to get angry."

"So what if you're angry? Are you going to run to your mother and complain like you did when you were a kid? But every time you did that, you got a beating." Loki looked at Thor, his eyes gradually welling up with tears, but he still couldn't help but retort.

Thor's expression gradually froze. He looked Loki up and down, his eyes gradually welling up with tears. He couldn't help but open his arms, wanting to give Loki a bear hug.

"stop!"

Loki had his arms outstretched, but a moment later he suddenly took a step back and shouted at Thor.

Thor was startled; his outstretched arms froze instantly, and his expression stiffened slightly: "What's wrong?"

Could it be that Wanda really did transform into her?

“I’m not feeling well right now, I can’t take your hug,” Loki explained briefly, while his gaze drifted in another direction. There, Frigga was walking towards him with a sorrowful expression.

"Loki, you've suffered." Frigga's hand slowly caressed Loki's face. Her eyes were gentle, yet they seemed to contain a power that saw through the suffering he had endured over the years.

Loki felt a pang of sadness as he watched the tears streaming down Frigga's face, and he couldn't help but shed tears as well. Just like before, he silently leaned against Frigga, feeling the warmth of her embrace.

Later, Odin also arrived. After learning that Loki had become a mortal, the family of four sat together for the first time in a long time, chatting and laughing by the campfire, and surprisingly, they were very harmonious.

Before we knew it, half a month had passed.

In the past two weeks, Ger handled all the matters that needed his attention, including dealing with the officials involved in the nuclear explosion. He also returned to China, but he did not see his "parents" again; he simply learned that they were safe and left. Some interesting things happened with Ning Rong, but Ger secretly followed her and, seeing that she was not in any danger, did not interfere or meddle.

Finally, the time for parting arrived.

"Brother, if there's any danger, you must let me know," Wanda murmured, watching the small spaceship gradually disappear into the sky.

She had wanted Gel to take the mothership away, but Gel was unwilling, as the mothership was far too conspicuous. Gel had only exchanged a small spaceship for one from Asgard, and Asgard frequently ventured into the outside world, so flying an Asgardian spaceship wouldn't be too noticeable.

Meanwhile, Pietro, Peter, Harry, Banner, and a group of others gathered around Wanda to see her off. Of course, some were not good at handling farewells, such as Tony, who didn't see her off at all.

The spaceship was moving extremely fast, and soon it had carried Gell out of Earth's atmosphere. As Gell looked back at the blue planet, a pang of reluctance welled up in his heart, but he quickly turned back and looked ahead.

The distant stars were now shining brightly before him, their brilliance unseen in ordinary times, appearing before him through the glass of the spaceship.
