The rope and spider silk were barely tied on before the Hulk broke free, but the three persisted, tying the spider silk and rope to the Hulk again and again.
As time slowly passed, the crimson in the Hulk's eyes gradually faded, and his steps became slower and slower. But no matter how hard Gale and Wanda tried, an uncontrollable madness and cruelty remained in his eyes, and he remained in the Hulk's state.
From a distance, Natasha patted Betty's hand, who had been worried all along: "Go."
Betty nodded and walked over to Gel. "May I try?"
Although she was speaking to Gale, her eyes were fixed on the Hulk.
Gel nodded, letting Betty walk toward the Hulk.
Betty crossed the ravaged grass and slowly approached the Hulk.
"Bruce, Bruce." Betty blinked her light blue eyes, looking at the Hulk's face, and whispered her lover's name, as if trying to call back the Hulk's consciousness.
The voice was soft and sincere.
The Hulk, who was still fighting with Peter and the other two, stopped struggling immediately upon hearing Betty's voice, turned around, and looked at Betty.
Peter and his two companions also stopped and ceased restricting the Hulk's movements.
The Hulk stood there, looking at Betty, his expression gradually softening.
Betty took a few more steps closer, walked to the Hulk, and extended her hand to him.
The Hulk looked at Betty, seemingly at a loss, and glanced around. But after a moment, he squatted down and reached out his hand to Betty.
Betty placed her hand on the Hulk's hand and patted it gently: "Bruce, relax, relax."
Slowly, the Hulk reverted to his original form as Dr. Banner.
Betty gently stroked Banner's face, then pressed her forehead against Banner's, and finally smiled softly.
