But Gerr immediately stopped Tony: "Why don't we follow them and see if we can catch up to the enemy's lair?"
Tony flew back to Gel's side, feeling dejected.
“You go with them. I’ll check on the remaining four trucks to prevent them from moving around to multiple locations,” Gel said to Tony, opening another portal.
The tenth and eleventh vehicles showed no abnormalities; they were still filled with stones.
But when they checked the twelfth vehicle, Ger was shocked to find that it also contained four large insulated boxes, which were filled with all sorts of blood bags.
Gel immediately opened a portal to the interior of the carriage and then floated inside.
Fortunately, Gale's chaos magic has been enhanced, allowing the portal to move along with the truck; otherwise, Gale would have had to resort to a more violent method to transport the blood bags out.
Looking at the densely packed blood bags around him, Ger opened a spatial door leading to his basement. He then used chaos magic to envelop the blood bags and sent them over one by one, while Ger flew inside.
"flame!"
Ger's deep, cold voice echoed in the basement. At the same time, a fire suddenly ignited in front of Ger, who threw blood bags into the flames one by one.
The sizzling sound continued as the blood bag and its contents were completely burned away. The flames of the chaos magic were so terrifying that not even a trace of dust remained!
The flickering firelight illuminated Ger's face, making his resolute expression crystal clear—he would never shed this blood.
When all the blood had been burned to ashes, Ger opened the portal to the thirteenth truck and stepped inside without looking back.
After sensing that the thirteenth truck was loaded with stones, Ger returned to the ninth truck based on Tony's real-time location.
"You're back. How are those trucks?" Tony asked, looking at Gel, who looked a little pale.
After a moment of silence, Gel replied, "The twelfth truck contained Hulk's blood, which I have destroyed entirely."
Tony shrugged: "That's great. Once we catch the mastermind, it'll all be over."
Ger did not respond, his expression remaining grave—he felt that things were not so simple.
Gel floated in the sky, releasing his senses, hoping to glean some useful information from the driver in the cockpit.
"What are these people trying to do? They said they were hauling things for experiments, but they've filled so many trucks with rocks," the driver complained as he drove.
"Anyway, they're paying a lot of money, so who cares?" The passenger took a drag of his cigarette and exhaled out the window.
"Shit! How many times have I told you, no smoking on the bus, have you forgotten the rules?" The driver reached out and slapped his leg. "I haven't taken many such bizarre orders in a year. They only give us the location of the next destination after we've arrived at one. They even only transfer the money to us after we've arrived at the destination."
"Sorry, I just had a craving for a cigarette." The passenger stubbed out his cigarette sheepishly. "Anyway, they paid us several times the usual amount, so who cares? You've hauled this kind of cargo before."
The passenger in the front seat chuckled as he looked at the large sum of money that had appeared in the bank account.
“Yeah, we brothers aren’t to be trifled with either. If anyone tries to double-cross us, they’ll have to ask my bullets first.” The driver glanced sideways at the gun between the two men and smiled.
Hearing this conversation from the air, Ger knew that the two of them had nothing to do with this matter.
So Gel and Tony followed from a distance in the sky.
The two drivers followed the address sent by the client, drove around the city several times, and finally turned into the suburbs, driving on a small road.
“We’re almost there, let’s go in,” Gel said to Tony, opening the portal to the truck’s interior.
They didn't go in earlier for fear of alerting the enemy, but Gel estimated that the truck was already close to its destination, so they couldn't leave the Hulk's blood in the truck any longer.
Even a single drop of this stuff could have terrible consequences.
Once inside the truck, Gerr threw all the blood bags into his basement as before, then set them on fire, destroying them one by one.
"Could you leave me a bag?" Tony's scientific spirit kicked in instantly, and he asked Gel.
Gel looked coldly at Tony: "When did you become interested in biology experiments? Do you want to become the Hulk too?"
With that, Ger threw the last few blood bags into the flames.
Tony thought about the Hulk, who was delirious and only knew how to destroy, and couldn't help but shudder: "I was just saying, just saying."
After disposing of the blood bags, Gel closed the portal and then hid with Tony in the truck bed, using chaos magic to envelop their bodies and make them invisible.
The truck drove for another half hour, traveling along the winding road. The road on both sides became increasingly desolate, and even the driver and the passenger in the front seat were a little apprehensive.
"What kind of place is this?" The driver looked at the road surface, which didn't even have streetlights, and became increasingly panicked.
The co-pilot glanced at his bank card balance; the number had increased slightly. He forced a smile and said, "They've deposited another sum of money. Perhaps it's some kind of large-scale testing base; they can only build it in such a remote location."
That was the only way the two of them could console themselves.
"There's a bright light ahead; that should be our destination," the driver said, glancing at the address on his phone and then at the light ahead, trying to reassure himself.
