Chapter Seventy-Six: Loki in a sorry state

Loki recalled what had just happened and felt a chill run down his spine—he had almost been captured by those lowly mortals!

“But during the battle just now, I only caught a glimpse of you. And it’s the same now; I can’t catch a glimpse of that other person. His figure is shrouded in mystery, just like the frost giants who once invaded Asgard. He seems to have mastered some way to obscure my senses,” Heimdall said, looking at Loki.

Ever since Thor came into contact with this "unsenseless person," he had become aware of this person's presence. Because before, when Thor was in the car, he couldn't even sense Thor anymore.

However, just as he said, even though he could observe Loki's battle through the mirror space, he couldn't see the sorcerer fighting Loki at all.

The existence of this person can only be determined by the situation on the battlefield.

Loki took a deep breath upon hearing Heimdall's pointed remark—so, if he were really captured, he might never be able to contact Heimdall again?

Wouldn't he then be at the mercy of others?

Even Ren Luoji, who was usually calm, felt a chill run through his body at this moment.

After a moment, Loki slowly looked at Heimdall: "To whom do you pledge allegiance, Heimdall?"

Heimdall stared intently at Loki's face, and after a moment replied, "I pledge allegiance to the King of Asgard."

"I am now the King of Asgard, and you now pledge your allegiance to me. Remember, from this day forward, no one may enter or leave Asgard without my permission, especially Thor." Loki walked toward his dwelling, leaving behind only these words.

Heimdall watched Loki's departing figure with an unreadable expression. After a moment, Heimdall looked away and turned to look in the direction of the Rainbow Bridge, the same direction he had been looking in before.

One day, two days, three days.

On the third day at noon, Loki reappeared beside Heimdall, but now his wounds had healed, and he was dressed in his usual neat attire: "Heimdall, I am going to Jomhaden."

Heimdall didn't ask any unnecessary questions. He simply inserted his longsword into the mechanism, and then Loki's figure traveled along the Rainbow Bridge to Yomhaydon.

Standing on the ground of Jotunheim, Loki looked at the sky, the ground, and everything in his line of sight, remaining motionless for a long time.

Just like before, the sky over Jomhaden was always dark, with almost no light, everything was gray and gloomy, and snow was falling all year round, with everything covered in ice and snow.

Yet, in this environment, he felt an indescribable sense of closeness.

Loki shook his head and walked toward the direction where the Frost Giant King was—he had come to make a deal, not to wallow in self-pity.

In the Marvel movies, Loki cannot fly. This setting has been modified so that Loki can fly. As seen in *WandaVision*, many mortal sorcerers can fly, making Loki's inability to fly seem rather far-fetched, hence the change.

Similarly, I think it's a bug that Loki, as a magician, only knows how to fight head-on, so I changed it so that he makes full use of his magic when fighting.
