“Alright, beautiful Miss Natasha, would you like me to open a portal to a certain location for you?” Ger asked Natasha with a smile.
Seeing the change in Gol's attitude, Natasha knew that her words had worked, so she returned the smile in kind: "Just open the portal to my office. Director Nick is still waiting for me to report to SHIELD."
Gol then used chaos magic to open a portal to Natasha's office.
Peter and Harry were also worried about their families, so they said to Gel, "We've finished our business, let's go back."
After Harry and Peter left, Tony said quite naturally, "I don't need you to see me off. Oh, and don't forget the magic circle."
After saying that, Tony immediately controlled his Iron Man suit to take off and flew towards his seaside villa.
Knowing Tony's pride, Gel didn't mention sending him back through the portal.
At this moment, only the three Gels, Betty, Banner, and the sleeping Bronsky remained in the room.
Gel opened a portal to the North Pole, freezing Bronsky in a secret place known only to him, before returning to the room.
As a precaution, Ger also left a chaotic magic mark on Bronsky. With Ger's current abilities, this chaotic magic mark can last for more than half a month without dissipating, so that even if something unexpected happens, Ger can find him in time.
"It's too late. You can sleep at my place for now. We can talk about it tomorrow." After a long battle and pursuit, it's now past 1 a.m.
Wanda and Pietro, now out of combat mode, were already yawning incessantly.
"Will our arrival cause you any trouble?" Banner squinted slightly at Gel, his eyes narrowed by his nearsightedness. He didn't want to cause any more trouble for anyone, even though he wanted the exhausted Betty to get some rest.
Looking at the worried Banner, Ger pointed to the spatial portal that had already opened beside him and said with a smile, "Don't worry, no one can catch you in my house."
Besides their home, Ger wasn't too comfortable leaving them anywhere else.
"Thank you all." Banner helped Betty through the portal and into Gel's house.
Gel led Banner and Betty to a room upstairs: "This is a guest room, and everything in it is brand new. There's a private bathroom right next door, and all the toiletries are provided. If you need anything, just knock on my door; I'm in the room next door."
"Thank you." Banner looked at the spacious and tidy room, and all he could say was thank you.
During his years on the run, he experienced too much of the coldness and warmth of human relationships, so he was sincerely grateful to Ger, who was more capable than them but still maintained kindness towards them.
Gel didn't say anything more. After comforting Wanda and Pietro, he went back to his room to wash up and lay down on the bed.
Perhaps it was because he had slept too much in the past few days, or perhaps it was the series of worries caused by tonight's battle, but Geer tossed and turned, unable to fall asleep.
Peter also suffers from insomnia, just like him.
After comforting Uncle Ben and Aunt May, Peter lay down on the bed.
But every time he closed his eyes, images of his battle with the Abomination would flash through his mind, especially the scene of the Abomination throwing a punch at him, which would wake him up every time he was about to fall asleep.
After repeating this several times, Peter was no longer sleepy.
Peter looked out the window, where the stars twinkled faintly. The night was so quiet, with only the faint sound of car horns in the distance.
Peter watched quietly, then suddenly sat up in bed and peered out from the edge of the bed. Several shooting stars streaked across the sky, their fleeting brilliance lifting Peter's spirits.
Peter was immediately taken aback, as if a shooting star had fallen in his direction.
As the meteor drew closer, after about a minute of observation, Peter clearly saw it crash into a grove of trees about a kilometer from his house.
Unable to sleep, Peter turned his ear to the outside. When he heard Uncle Ben and Aunt May's steady breathing, he immediately climbed onto the window, jumped out through the window, and headed towards the woods.
The woods, located not far from the residential area, appeared dark and quiet at this time, with only the occasional chirping of insects.
Peter walked around and soon found the spot where the meteorite had crashed. The ground where the meteorite had crashed had been smashed into a deep crater, and inside was a stone with a surface covered in a faint dark red color, just like the lava he had seen on television. Perhaps because of the intense friction with the atmosphere, the meteorite was still emitting faint smoke.
Peter looked at it for a while, then turned back. He remembered that some meteorites were radioactive, so he didn't intend to take it home.
But Peter didn't notice that shortly after he left, a dark "reptile" crawled out of the meteorite. However, this "reptile" seemed to be too soft, crawling on the ground in various contorted postures, trailing far behind Peter.
Back home, Peter heard his Uncle Ben and Aunt May breathing steadily in the next room, knowing they hadn't noticed him sneaking out. He breathed a sigh of relief and closed his eyes to rest.
Even the occasional twitching of his body indicated that the nightmare was still troubling Peter.
The roar of abomination, Harry nearly being caught by the abomination, Natasha tumbling from the sky, the abomination's fist hurtling down...
In the silent darkness, only moonlight and starlight streamed through the window into Peter's room. The black "reptile" that had followed Peter to his home seemed to sense Peter's pain and crawled toward Peter's bed.
In the dim light, a strange shadow appeared on the wall next to Peter. This shadow seemed to be a demon from hell, sticking out a long, sharp tongue, and arching its body to open its "blood-red maw" at Peter as if it were looking at delicious prey.
