Metropolis Lostbelt (Part 1): Is it Debit? ...

"Hahahaha, very well, just this once, I will forgive your rudeness!"

Faced with Ritsuka's practiced flattery, Gilgamesh laughed with satisfaction, "This time, I will lend you a hand. After all, protecting your subjects is also a king's duty!"

The Golden Wise King roughly ruffled Fujimaru Ritsuka's orange hair, then stood behind her with a smile.

Kadoc, who was originally standing nearby, shifted his position slightly, looking somewhat awkward. To be honest, he really wasn't good at dealing with Servants like this.

Fujimaru is really something, he doesn't seem to have any trouble with this at all.

Fujimaru Ritsuka didn't feel awkward at all. She habitually tidied her hair, then took a step forward with a hint of curiosity and peeked out of the control room.

This first Servant has already greatly surprised Ritsuka, so who will be the next Servant?

The next second, Professor Nemo's half-body image swayed. She tucked a stray hair behind her ear and calmly said, "The second Servant is about to arrive at the control room."

At the same time, a flamboyant and frivolous voice appeared at the control room door: "Oh my, did Ritsuka come here especially to greet my big brother?"

Stepping on the flowers, the young man gave an exaggerated bow. He raised his head, and it seemed that no amount of dazzling beauty could describe his good looks.

"Hmm... I'm truly honored!"

When those dreamy purple eyes gaze at you with a smile, you'll feel as if he genuinely cares about you and is concerned for you.

But this is just an illusion.

In reality, as a half-nightmare, he is literally "not human" and does not have a human heart.

Because he lacks emotions, it is extremely difficult for him to think and live like a human. His current, unsuccessful portrayal of a gentle older brother is merely a waste of his past emotional reserves, barely managing to imitate a semblance of human kindness.

However, Fujimaru Ritsuka is unlikely to be deceived by his appearance, because—

"Foufuu—Waaaaa!!"

Fufu, who had been quietly licking her paws, suddenly curled up as if allergic to the fragrance of flowers, and swirled rapidly towards the flamboyant young man's magnificent hair.

The young man's mysterious image instantly crumbled. "Damn it, what are you doing now, you beast! What's wrong with my hair?! Master, stop this guy!"

Cough cough, Ritsuka glanced away, turning a blind eye to the battle between the dignified Grand Caster and Fou, who were of equal skill.

Finally, the Wise King couldn't stand it anymore. "If you want to put on a Chaldea comedy, wait until this Lostbelt is over." He looked at Nemo, "Captain over there, is everyone here now?"

Nemo nodded. Holmes turned around and gave his final instructions before departing, "The cause of this Lostbelt, the mastermind behind it, and the situation on the ground are all completely unknown."

"We can only understand the situation by going there to confirm it in person. We must be prepared to be attacked from the very beginning. Ah, this is probably an unexpected situation for Moriarty as well. Miss Ritsuka, be careful."

As Holmes said, with Group A dead or recruited and the alien apostles confirmed to be eliminated, the sudden appearance of the Lostbelt and the Imaginary Tree is full of suspicious points.

Neither Ashiya Dōman nor Moriarty could explain why they took the Holy Grail to other worlds. Shakespeare, the only possible clue, had already been taken away for questioning by the returning Moriarty.

But in less than four hours, they probably won't be able to find anything.

Since we can't stand idly by, let's take it one step at a time. At least Chaldea is quite experienced when it comes to Lostbelts!

Four hours later, when Fujimaru Ritsuka, having rested, returned to the control room, the Chaldea staff had already begun methodically preparing to enter the Lostbelt.

"Oh, Master's here." Merlin greeted her warmly with a smile. Fujimaru Ritsuka turned her head; she could even smell a faint floral fragrance wafting through the control room... Floral fragrance?

Her gaze instinctively drifted downwards, and sure enough, a cluster of flowers appeared faintly at Merlin's feet. Ah, this guy's magic tricks are always failing him, aren't they?

“How come…” Merlin followed Ritsuka’s gaze and lowered his head, blinking helplessly, “Hmm, it’s really easy to bite your tongue when performing this magic trick.”

"Oh, right." He snapped his fingers lightly as if he had suddenly remembered something. "Ritsuka, you don't need to worry too much about this Lostbelt. To paraphrase another guy—just wait and have hope."

"Hmm?" Fujimaru Ritsuka glanced sideways. Hearing such words before leaving was somewhat comforting, but wasn't it a bit too enigmatic?

She couldn't help but ask Merlin what his clairvoyance had seen. But Merlin raised an eyebrow and exclaimed, "Oh dear, knowing too much can't always lead to good results, can it? Besides, if I keep talking, the king will glare at me!"

They just slipped away like that.

Noticing the commotion, Goldruff turned his gaze to Ritsuka. "Hmm. It seems she's recovered after four hours of rest."

"Hmm, thanks to your efforts, the last singularity was successfully eliminated. Well done," he said. "You've worked hard this time too. Once you find the Imaginary Tree, cut it down quickly!"

"Captain, the computer room is ready!" Munir said.

“Very good. Everyone, return to your posts. Professor, begin final confirmation. Storm Border, Imaginary Coating, commence.” Captain Nemo’s lake-blue eyes were fixed on the large screen as he waved his hand.

"Terry and the engine are running in parallel, smoothly," Professor Nemo reported. "Time difference correction calculation with the drilling target space is complete."

"Everyone," Sion gripped the armrest tightly, giving a final reminder, "Pay attention to your mental state, prepare for the attack!"

Fujimaru Ritsuka and Mash sat in their seats, fastened their seatbelts. Mash was ready for battle. Kadoc and Sion remained calm, awaiting the mental shock that was no less intense than the Imaginary Number Submarine.

Gilgamesh and Merlin stood on opposite sides, their relaxed expressions suggesting they were on vacation rather than going to fight.

Gordolf took a deep breath and held it. Having been through a lot with Chaldea, he was a more discerning man now and no longer as prone to making a fuss as he used to.

Therefore, he also had to fulfill his responsibility as commander this time and bring everyone back, he thought to himself.

Da Vinci, in the computer room, was in sync with the submarine, adjusting the armor protection, and all sailors were in position. Then, Captain Nemo said:

"Dimensional Frontier Drill Ship Storm Border, proceed! Now beginning the assault on the Lostbelt!"

Harbor, USA.

Inside Chaldea, Nemo's voice rang out after the impact, "Breakthrough!! The damage to the hull is great, it's minor!"

Captain Nemo breathed a slight sigh of relief. "Project the situation outside onto the monitor and confirm the status of the North American Lostbelt!"

Sailor Nemo: "Yes, sir! It's already displayed!!"

Fujimaru Ritsuka gasped. It wasn't that the scene was particularly terrifying; the monitor simply displayed a vast, blue ocean. Yet, the horror of the Fifth Lostbelt still lingered in her mind.

A sixth sense, a feeling of danger, was blaring in her mind. Mashu noticed her strange expression and looked over with concern, asking if she was feeling unwell.

After all, it was just her wishful thinking. Fujimaru Ritsuka forced a smile and shook her head at Mashu to avoid adding to everyone's tension.

Goldruff peered at the monitor. "Ahem, it looks like a normal ocean... Hmm, the measurement value of the Human Principles seems to have shifted slightly?"

He closed his eyes in bewilderment and then opened them again; the readings were indeed changing! And they were steadily decreasing!!

Fujimaru Ritsuka suddenly widened her eyes: "That was...!"

Something not so good is appearing on the monitor!

Kadoc was startled, his already tense heart almost stopping. "Don't suddenly shout, it's scary! But judging from your expression... did something really happen?"

The next second, Professor Nemo's half-body image popped up, her tone a mix of excitement and curiosity: "Excuse me~, may I bother you for a moment~?"

"The test reports for both outdoor and seabed testing are complete, Mr. Sion. Please provide your comments."

Sion looked at the report and couldn't help but push up his glasses. Was this really the US in 2018? It looked like the end of an era!

No wonder Smegistus II was able to choose Gilgamesh and Merlin.

However, that's not the point right now. Sion looked at the sea with a serious expression. Something as black as ink was rising from the water, polluting the white ocean.

"Hey! Zemrups, does this thing look familiar? It looks very familiar, doesn't it?" Goldruff asked urgently.

“…How is this possible?” Kadoc clenched his fists, his pupils fixed on the object on the sea surface. How could this Lostbelt have—

“Debit? This looks a lot like the relic of that angel Debit was back then, doesn’t it?!” Fujimaru Ritsuka chimed in.

Debit Zem Void, born from the Void Relics inherited by the Semitic people. All his angelic relics, in short, mean that the more people attack him, the stronger he becomes.

As one of the Hidden Ones, they once controlled the South American Lostbelt. However, even though the South American Lostbelt had already been destroyed by them, and Debit's plan to summon the ORT had completely failed.

How did they end up in the new North American Lostbelt?

Could he be the mastermind behind it all?

"Captain! They've started attacking!" Sion shouted a warning. Captain Nemo directed the sailors to change course, gain altitude, and reload their cannons.

"First, third engine, full throttle! Then, fire!"

Three shells, powerful enough to flatten a football field, crashed into the sea at high speed. The violent explosions sent up splashes several stories high, but the hostile reaction beneath the surface did not decrease; instead, it increased!

"This is truly unbelievable." Holmes rested his chin on his hands, his eyes fixed on the monitor. "Miss Ritsuka, next—"

"Wait a minute! Are you from Chaldea? Let's talk this out!"

An unfamiliar sound rose from the sea.
