Chapter 13 I'll take responsibility for the trouble I caused.

"General Yu and his son have a really good relationship."

"Of course! I've always envied Yu Wei since I was little. His two fathers would come to pick him up from school no matter the weather." Qin Ge smiled and sat down on the sofa, holding Yu Wen on his lap. "I also benefited from this, going to his house to freeload every day."

Qin Ye didn't allow him to eat snacks, but Yu Wei's family had a lot of snacks. Yu Wei had a small appetite, and Yu Zhen only liked sweets. Most of the snacks ended up in his and Lin Gu's stomachs.

"To be honest, at that time I always thought Yu Wei would become a writer or artist or something, and I never expected him to become a soldier."

After all, Yu Wei was so thin as a bamboo pole when he was a child that he could be flown like a kite by pulling a rope on a windy day.

"It's all about family upbringing and being influenced by what you see and hear," Yu Wen nuzzled Qin Ge. "But you're really amazing too."

Qin Ge smiled but remained silent. He had never wanted to become a doctor at first; he wanted to fight alongside Yu Wei and Lin Gu on the battlefield.

Later, he discovered that saving lives wasn't so boring; they were all protecting the weaker people in their own ways.

"It's getting late, time to go to sleep."

Qin Ge turned off the TV, picked up Yu Wen, and walked towards the bedroom.

"If you're going to sleep, then go to sleep. Why are you tearing my clothes?"

Yu Wen clenched his fist and lightly punched Qin Ge, glaring angrily at the person in front of him.

"We haven't seen each other for several days, I missed you." Qin Ge kissed Yu Wen and raised his hand to cover his eyes. "I promise it'll just be a kiss, nothing else."

"You...you said the same thing yesterday." Yu Wen's cheeks flushed red as he whispered, "I have to go to work tomorrow."

Qin Ge smiled slightly; he had no intention of letting Yu Wen go to work.

Anyway, the company belongs to Zhou Siyu, not Yu Wen, so it's none of his business if it goes bankrupt.

Achoo!

Zhou Siyu, sitting on the interstellar train, sneezed, feeling like someone was cursing her.

The Allied Military District is really incompetent; they only authorized the data entry into the system after all the team members had already departed, causing him to set off a day later than Yu Wei.

What's even more outrageous is that Yu Wei and his group took a direct interstellar spaceship, while he had to transfer several trains.

Stepping out of the car, Zhou Siyu was hit in the face by a cloud of yellow sand mixed with white snowflakes. She sniffed and sneezed.

How can this place be so strange? The sun is shining brightly, yet snow is falling heavily from the sky. It's very hot, but there's no warmth at all.

Only a few staff members were walking around on the platform, constantly giving Zhou Siyu suspicious looks.

Besides the military and scientific research teams, this is the first time I've seen someone come alone.

"Little friend, what are you doing here?"

A man took Zhou Siyu's ticket and looked her up and down.

She was in her early twenties, very beautiful, with long red hair tied back, dressed very lightly, and carrying a large travel bag. It was obvious she had never been here before.

"Looking for... looking for someone... Achoo!"

Zhou Siyu crossed her arms and said tremblingly, "My brother works here... Achoo!"

"Why don't you go sit in the duty room first, and I'll call your brother to come pick you up?"

The man took off his thick coat and draped it over Zhou Siyu. His waist was as slender as a willow branch, and his face was so tender it looked like it could be squeezed to release water. He looked like a young master who had run away from home.

However, once you've come to this place, even if you're incredibly wealthy, there's no way you can escape.

"Th...thank you."

Zhou Siyu, wrapped in a coat, followed the man into the duty room.

The cramped duty room was very simple, with only a table and a sofa, and two bunk beds behind a curtain. A teapot sat on the stove next to the table, the water inside boiling.

Upon entering the duty room, Zhou Siyu put down his backpack and sat obediently on the sofa. The man poured him a glass of water, which Zhou Siyu accepted with a smile, but did not drink it.

"Why don't you drink some? Drink some to warm yourself up."

The man scoffed inwardly, thinking how wary he was.

"I'm not thirsty." Zhou Siyu put down her cup, looked up, and smiled sweetly. "Uncle, can I borrow your equipment to contact my brother?"

This place is really primitive; communicators are completely useless here. The man's eyes were looking at him with ill intent; he had to be careful.

"Sure, but we only have one device here. Wait a moment while I go get it."

The man got up and left, and Zhou Siyu's smile vanished instantly. She opened the window and splashed all the water away.

Before coming, he had done some research. Seventy percent of the secret realm was yellow sand and ruins. Only the place where the alliance was stationed had food. One hundred miles northwest of the station was the place where Chu Yunmu disappeared, which was also his destination.

Given his current equipment, he'd be lucky to even find the right place alive, so he needs to replenish his gear here.

"Sorry, I forgot the equipment broke down yesterday." The man rubbed his hands and explained, "But we're fixing it, and it should be ready by tomorrow."

"Oh, I see. Then I won't trouble you." Zhou Siyu said with a smile, "I'll go find my brother myself."

"Where does your brother work? If it's nearby, we can take you there."

"I don't know, he seemed to have mentioned it was at some military base..."

"The Allied army's base?" The man feigned difficulty. "It's quite far from here."

"Really?" Zhou Siyu blinked, her voice full of frustration: "But I can't get in touch with my brother."

"Is something urgent?" Before the words were even finished, the man waved his hand and explained, "What I mean is, if you're in a hurry, you can wait here. There will be a supply truck from the base tonight."
