Wan Qiufeng eventually returned home, both happy and embarrassed, carrying a net full of fish.
Wanwan swam ashore, and Xiao Qi's tightly furrowed brows slowly relaxed. He walked slowly to her side and carefully looked her over.

When Wan Qiusui saw Wanwan, she gave her a light glare. "Oh, I wondered who it was. Turns out you're the little star of this celebration."
Wanwan ignored him and silently moved closer to Xiao Qi, the two children standing side by side.
The emerald green ribbon on Wanwan's head and the flowing white ribbon on Xiao Qi's head danced in the sea breeze, like a beautiful painting.
In this light, Wan Qiusui, who was sitting idly by, cracking sunflower seeds and standing awkwardly, seemed completely out of place.
"Wanwan, what time is it? The auspicious time is almost here, why hasn't the whale come yet? Didn't you say the whale was coming back? Everyone came here to see the whale, don't play tricks on us."

Wan Qiusui thought bitterly, and clenched her fists involuntarily.
"Whale! The whale is here!"
Someone in the crowd shouted, and everyone craned their necks to look into the distance. They saw a small mountain of waves rising from the calm sea and rapidly approaching them.
A cheer erupted from the crowd. Amid the cheers, the whale drew closer, unleashing a massive wave and spouting a jet of water that shot into the sky.
Huge waves and columns of water merged, and a heavy rain began to fall, surprising and delighting everyone, bringing the festive atmosphere to a climax.
After the sea receded, Wan Qiusui had a large shrimp on his head. He looked at the cheering crowd, and after staring at Wanwan and Xiao Qi's jubilant backs for a while, his anger intensified.
There really were whales!
He was furious; he couldn't stand their happiness; he wanted to destroy them!
With that thought in mind, a wicked plan suddenly formed in his mind.
The whale in the water abandoned the cheering crowd and swam towards Wanwan and Xiao Qi. To everyone's surprise, the whale surfaced and approached the two of them to within a foot.
Wanwan naturally reached out and stroked its skin, saying thank you, "Thank you for your hard work, whale friend!"
The whale seemed to understand her words and spouted a small fountain into the air.
The interaction between the wanwan and the whale once again drew cheers from the crowd.
Suddenly someone threw food at the whale. Unlike trained animals, the whale didn't catch it and seemed a little annoyed after being hit by the food. Wanwan quickly went over to comfort it.
Honestly, didn't we agree not to offend the whales? Why are there still people who don't listen?
Wanwan was a little confused. Just as she turned to complain to Xiao Qi, she found that he was no longer by her side.
Strange, where did he go?
