Chapter 119 Are you concerned about me?

Sheng Laowu ran into a pack of mad dogs today and almost fell victim to their tricks.

After finally shaking them off, I dragged my wound home.

As darkness fell, the Sheng family fell silent.

He was too tired to move and collapsed onto the sofa with a thud.

Sheng Laowu hissed in pain when he accidentally pressed on the wound on his arm.

He had grown accustomed to such wounds. He closed his eyes, placed one hand on his face, and his eyelashes trembled twice.

Xinghe was a little hungry in the middle of the night, so she went downstairs to find something to eat.

Upon entering the lobby, I saw a dark figure, accompanied by a faint smell of blood in the air.

Another hand dangled from the sofa and dragged on the floor.

It looks just like a crime scene.

Xinghe was startled, walked over, and poked the dark figure.

Sheng Laowu was woken up by the noise. He opened his eyes impatiently and looked at the culprit who had woken him up.

Xinghe: "This is the first time I've seen someone cosplay a corpse. I couldn't resist. Sorry."

There was no hint of apology on her face, but her round, kitten-like eyes darted around.

When Sheng Laowu saw Xinghe, he remembered what Sheng Yue had told him in tears earlier that day, and his head started to ache. He sat up.

The movement aggravated his wound, and he hissed in pain again.

Sheng Laowu didn't want to argue with Xinghe; he was a bit tired. "Little sister, let's make a deal. Just pretend you've never seen me today."

Xinghe's gaze fell on Sheng Laowu's wound, "Your cosplay is quite dedicated."

Sheng Laowu was speechless for a moment.

Xinghe yawned, went to the kitchen to get a plate of fruit, and said to Sheng Laowu as he passed by, "Remember to clean up the area after you apply the medicine."

Sheng Laowu's eyes flickered. "You're concerned about me?"

Galaxy: ? ? ?

"Did the blood loss cause your brainstem to come out with it? Which eye saw me caring about you? I'm just afraid that if they see this tomorrow morning, they'll think there was a murder here."

Xinghe rolled her eyes at him and strode upstairs.

Sheng Laowu glanced at the bleeding wound, got up, found the first-aid kit in a familiar place, and applied medicine to the wound.

He bit the bandage and finished bandaging himself.

"Fifth Brother, you're back." Sheng Yue said, her eyes red, as she stepped out of the elevator.

"Knowing you hadn't come back, I haven't slept, I've been waiting for you."

Sheng Yue walked quickly to Sheng Laowu's side, "Fifth Brother, I've been laughed at all day."

She seemed not to notice the injury on Sheng Laowu's hand or the medicine beside him at all.

She continued talking to Sheng Laowu, telling him how pitiful she was today and how Xinghe had gone too far.

She began to imply again that after Xinghe returned, there would be no place for her anymore, and she would only have them left.

In the past, hearing these words would have made Sheng Laowu feel sorry for him, but this time, his arm was so painful that he could hardly lift it. Hearing Sheng Yue's complaints made his wound seem to hurt even more.

Sheng Yue spoke excitedly and reached out to grab Sheng Laowu's arm.

Sheng Laowu hissed as his bandaged wound began to bleed again.

His expression changed slightly.

Sheng Yue then noticed his wound. "Fifth Brother, what happened? Are you injured?"

Sheng Laowu hummed in agreement. Seeing the somewhat anxious look on Sheng Yue's face, the slight discomfort in his heart dissipated.

"It's just a minor injury, nothing to worry about, Yueyue."

"Fifth Brother, you need to be more careful next time, or I'll worry."

As Sheng Yue spoke, she ignored the injuries on Sheng Laowu's body.

She continued the previous topic, "Fifth Brother, I'm so ashamed to face anyone. How could Xinghe treat me like this?"

A sense of unease inexplicably arose in Sheng Laowu's heart.

"Yueyue, let's talk about it tomorrow. I'm a little tired, so I'm going back to rest first. You should rest early too."

He stood up and offered a solution: "It's no use coming to us about this. Xinghe won't listen to us. But you should talk to your parents properly, and they will step in."

Sheng Yue's eyes in the darkness were so gloomy they were almost dripping with ink.

In a place unseen by the stars, the Sheng brothers began to suffer misfortune one after another.

This is even worse than the karma that led to the galaxy's affliction.

Being surrounded by malevolent energy not only affects one's luck but also one's physical health.

The evil spirit, fearing Xinghe, did not dare to recklessly target the brothers. Instead, it used a small amount of Yin energy mixed with Shengyue's soul to entwine around the brothers.

Sheng Yue was waiting, waiting for the Yin energy to gather to its most intense point before she would appear as a savior.

When the time comes, she will make sure that the Sheng family members are completely on her side.

In the past few days, Sheng Yue has kept a low profile and hasn't been making a scene in front of Xinghe.

Xinghe was waiting to see what tricks Shengyue would come up with to add some color to their mundane life, but Shengyue avoided her and ran away faster than a mouse whenever she saw her.

The Milky Way is somewhat boring.

With nothing else to do, she began making magical artifacts.

As for alchemy, the few people in the lab gradually got the hang of it. Sheng Laosi would come to Xinghe from time to time, ostensibly to ask questions, and Xinghe couldn't refuse.

However, Sheng Laosi was indeed the most talented among those researchers, and Xinghe, though he didn't like him, had to admit it.

Xinghe wanted to make something for the Dragon Group.

When Xinghe joined the Dragon Group, they all gave her gifts, and she began to customize magical artifacts for them based on their characteristics.

Custom-made ritual implements can play a greater role. Over time, these implements will develop a little bit of sentience, making them easier to use.

Xinghe found a spot in the small garden and gathered a bunch of random materials.

They were making a lot of noise.

Sheng Lao Er stared at her for a while, then walked up to Xinghe and gave her a friendly smile.
