Chapter 33 Bet

"Master Harry, the prince has arrived," the engineer reminded.

Harry finally realized, "Prince, what are you doing here? I don't have time to entertain you."

Luo Tian said, "My father asked me to say hello to you. There have been a lot of things happening in Star City recently. I told you to take care of your health and go to the Ice Palace when you have time."

Harry kept his eyes on the screen and responded casually, "Thank you for the Emperor and the Prince's concern. I'm afraid I can't go for a while. Prince, do you have anything else to say?"

Luo Tian said, "There is indeed something. The Star Picking Competition is about to begin, and now all the star cities have selected candidates. The emperor means that this year's contestants from Uranus City will be selected in the form of a selection competition. I am the person in charge of this project, and I hope Master Harry can support me!"

Harry looked up at Luo Tian and said, "My father told me about this. To be honest, I support your idea. In the past, contestants were always chosen from among the nobles. Although the people in Star City didn't say it, they were dissatisfied in their hearts."

Luo Tian didn't expect that Harry would agree with his idea so easily. Maybe he could really bypass Harvey and let Harry help him directly.

"So, you are willing to help me?" Luo Tian looked at Harry excitedly.

"I'm sorry, I'm afraid I really can't help you. Prince, I'm a straightforward person, please don't mind it." Harry said in a stiff tone.

"Why? Don't you agree with this idea? I understand now. It's Harvey who doesn't want you to help me, right?" Luo Tian asked.

Harry said: "My father's attitude is only one aspect. The biggest obstacle to this matter is that our technology is too weak. Now the engineers can just maintain the operation of Star City. They can't even protect the safety of Star City. How can we expect to organize the competition?"

Luo Tian knew very well that network security was the foundation of Star City, especially the data generated, transactions conducted, information stored, etc. by people in Kaiyuan, which were all highly dependent on the security of software and hardware.

Harry also heard from his father that Prince Luo Tian had been a slow learner since childhood, and he was also a loner who liked to hide in his room alone. He was injured a while ago and almost became a vegetable. Later, he had an operation and after waking up, he turned from autism to arrogance. He kept saying that he wanted to be a star picker, which was simply a foolish dream.

So Harry didn't have a good impression of Luo Tian and thought he was an idiot who was ambitious, arrogant and conceited.

"Are there any security issues now?" Luo Tian asked. He wanted to know more information, perhaps he could be of help.

Harry said impatiently: "My prince, I've told you the problem. Can you solve it? If you can't, don't bother me here. Can't you see I'm busy?"

Harry's words really irritated Luo Tian. As the father of Kaiyuan, he was actually treated as a rookie. This was a great insult.

Luo Tian walked up to Harry and asked, "Do you dare to make a bet with me? If I really solve your problem, you will help me organize the selection competition."

As the chief engineer of Uranus City, Harry had some understanding of the level of the royal family in the city. Luo Tian's original body, Roland, was only good at playing connect-the-dots. It took him many years to complete such a stupid game. I guess he didn't know any techniques.

When Harry heard that Luo Tian wanted to make a bet with him, he felt amused. He had already given Luo Tian a way out out of consideration for his dignity, but he didn't expect that this idiot would actually come and humiliate himself. Just as his father Harvey said, the royal family members were all so arrogant and conceited, so he might as well take this opportunity to teach him a lesson.

Harry smiled and said, "I'm not afraid of bets. To be fair, I'll tell you the problem first. If you feel you can't handle it, it's not too late to give up now. Otherwise, people will say I'm bullying a rookie."

When the word "rookie" came out, all the engineers present laughed.

Harry continued, "There are unidentified hackers lurking in the Uranus City of Eri. They use a highly concealed Trojan program to constantly browse the data of the Star City and steal valuable information from it. We are now editing the killing program in an attempt to eliminate the Trojan and find the hacker's trace."

Luo Tian was listening attentively, but Harry thought he didn't understand at all.

"Prince, do you want me to explain to you what a wooden horse is?" Harry asked. There was another round of laughter.

Luo Tian said: "I understand, you want me to help you get rid of this Trojan virus and find the whereabouts of the hacker, right?"

Harry nodded. "You understand. Great. Do you dare to answer it?"

Luo Tian said, "Of course. Let's make a deal first. If I help you solve the problem, you must organize the trials for me unconditionally and follow my ideas. Even if your father objects, you must fully support me in this matter."

Harry glanced at the audience. The engineers were all shouting, "Bet him, bet him!"

Harry was greatly encouraged and thought, how can a computer idiot like you understand something that more than a hundred of our engineers can't solve?

He said confidently: "I promise you, but what if you lose?"

Luo Tian asked back: "What do you want to do?"

Harry smiled cunningly, "We don't want anything valuable from you, lest someone say that our Harvey family is greedy. I heard that the royal family has a loud voice and likes to shout. If you lose, just bark like a dog and let each of us ride you around here, how about that?"

Luo Tian loved challenges the most, and agreed without hesitation: "Okay, it's a deal."
