Chapter 34: Star City Antivirus

Luo Tian stood on the console and found two screens. The blue-framed screen was covered with dense codes, and the green-framed screen showed images of the star city.

"Does this code correspond one to one to the images in Star City?" Luo Tian asked.

Harry smiled and said, "You guessed it right, that's right. So when we clean up the Trojans and viruses, it will inevitably affect the changes in Star City."

Luo Tian understood that the viruses and Trojans planted by hackers might be a line of code in the background program interface, but in Star City it might be a tree, a stone, a piece of furniture, a TV, or even a person, a house, etc.

If these viruses and Trojans are cleared away rashly, many items will disappear in the Star City world in an instant, and even many people will go missing, which will inevitably cause panic.

Luo Tian thought for a moment and came up with an idea. He needed to find out the viruses and Trojans first, then mark the things they represented in Star City, and then edit a copying program. After the viruses and Trojans were cleared, the copying program would replace the marked things, so as not to cause panic.

This process is a bit like grafting. A female killer disguises herself as a child's mother, lurking in this family, gathering intelligence and causing trouble. When the police recognize the killer, if they directly shoot the female killer, what the child will see is his mother being killed by the police. He will yell and even fight with the police. No matter how much the police say to the child, the child will not listen.

Changing the idea, after the police recognize the killer, they don't take action first. Instead, they mark the killer and then create a copy of a woman who looks exactly like the killer. Then the police can shoot the killer to death and put the copy next to the child. In this way, the child will feel that his mother has not left him, and the killer will be shot dead as he wished.

Luo Tian told Harry his thoughts, which surprised Harry. It seemed that he had indeed underestimated the prince just now.

"I think this idea is feasible. But the key is how can you find out the viruses and Trojans planted by hackers? Also, during the marking process, will you be discovered by hackers, thereby causing them to counterattack?" Harry expressed his concerns.

"You are right. So this marking method must be fast, accurate, and highly concealed. I have a clear idea of this." Luo Tian said confidently.

Harry thought that some arrogant people are good at boasting, but when they really start fighting, they will immediately make a fool of themselves. So he waited for Luo Tian to make a fool of himself with a mentality of watching the fun.

Luo Tian browsed through the background program code on the screen and quickly mastered the characteristics of the programming language.

"Give me permission to edit the program." Luo Tian said.

Harry hesitated, and Luo Tian saw his concerns: "Don't worry, my operation is transparent throughout. Don't you think you are better than me? You can just watch next to me. If you find something wrong, you can stop me immediately. How about it?"

Harry said, "Well, I guess your tricks can't escape my eyes."

Harry opened the program interface, and Luo Tian quickly browsed the code with his fingers. The densely packed code seemed like countless ants moving regularly on the screen.

Luo Tian's fingers moved nimbly across the screen. His operations were so fast that Harry and the engineers around him were dazzled.

Luo Tian quickly identified the characteristics of the Trojan program from the background program interface. In fact, the hacker was not that powerful, it was just that the level of Harry's engineers was too poor.

As he delved deeper into the program code, Luo Tian discovered that the protective wall of Uranus City had been penetrated by hackers and turned into a sieve. A large number of viruses and Trojans were hidden in it, and they were obviously created by different hackers.

Time passed little by little, Luo Tian quickly called up different program interfaces, and the image windows in the Star City were constantly changing, and various things began to be marked with different labels.

A stone is marked with a red star, a tree is hung with a blue star, a sofa is labeled with a green star... As the number of marks increases, the colors are no longer enough, and they can only be replaced by numerical suffixes.

What surprised Harry even more was that while Luo Tian was marking the objects, he was also writing a program to produce replicas that were exactly the same as the marked objects. His speed was so fast that it instantly outstripped all the engineers present, including himself.

Unconsciously, more than an hour had passed. Harry was getting impatient: "How long will you need? This bet can't be indefinite."

Luo Tian stared at the screen and said, "It will be ready soon. It will take about ten minutes."

When analyzing the program code, Luo Tian found that some viruses could not be marked, and they were very hidden and powerful. Obviously, they were planted by top hackers. Now there is not enough time, so I can only put it aside for now.

Harry looked at his watch and said, "Okay, you've delayed us for an hour, so I'll give you another ten minutes. The brothers are waiting to hear the dog barking and ride the dog."

After Harry finished speaking, there was another round of laughter in the control room. Although he said so, he was really unsure. Judging from the operation just now, this silly boy was not simple. He even didn't understand some of the codes, but he couldn't ask for advice in front of his own engineers.

Hearing the laughter, Luo Tian thought, you pigs have the nerve to laugh at others, I will teach you a lesson in a moment. When I win this game and fall into my hands, I will definitely teach you a lesson.

After more than an hour of study, Luo Tian had a preliminary grasp of the characteristics of the Uranus City background program, but because the amount of data was too large, it would take some time to fully understand it.

In the process of marking Trojans and viruses just now, Luo Tian also wrote a new Trojan into the program he wrote, which can continuously collect data in Star City. As the strongest hacker on the earth three hundred years ago, he should be regarded as the ancestor of this group of hackers now.
