Chapter 120 She Was Fired

Yuan Min nodded. "I caught her writing that kind of lewd letter to my husband, Mr. Zhang."

Ye Hongqin raised the letter in her hand and said, "She also wrote to my husband, Lao Cui. How shameless is that? How many people did she write to?"

Yuan Min glanced at He Qiuya with disdain and said, "Cast a wide net to catch big fish. Only the foolish ones will take the bait."

He Qiuya shook her head desperately, "I really didn't! Believe me!"

Yuan Min snorted, "Everyone's already said this is your handwriting, and you're still trying to argue? Okay, you like to argue, right? I'm going to report you to the Military Commission right now, so go ahead and argue with them!"

After she finished speaking, she went out. Ye Hongqin followed her, saying, "Just wait for me," and left the rehearsal room.

He Qiuya collapsed on the ground and burst into tears. She was really wronged. She had never written such a letter!

Yuan Min and Ye Hongqin went straight to the Military Commission as soon as they left the house to report He Qiuya for destroying military marriage and having a corrupt style of work.

The Military Commission attached great importance to this matter and immediately sent people to bring over the person involved, He Qiuya, and the witness, Guo Xinmei, mentioned by Yuan Min and Ye Hongqin.

He Qiuya was quickly taken to the Military Commission. She tried her best to defend herself, saying that the letter was not written by her and she didn't know who wrote it.

Guo Xinmei identified the handwriting on the letter as He Qiuya's, and also said that Director Yao of the Drama Department had a script written by He Qiuya that could be used for handwriting comparison.

The people from the Military Commission immediately went to Minister Yao to get He Qiuya's handwritten script. After checking the handwriting, they confirmed that the letter was written by He Qiuya herself.

"The handwriting on the letter matches the handwriting on your handwritten script. It must be you who wrote it. What else do you have to say?"

The people from the Military Commission threw the letter and the script in front of He Qiuya. In their opinion, the evidence was conclusive and there was no room for her to argue.

"I didn't! I never wrote them a letter! I was wrongly accused!"

An officer pointed at the letter on the table and asked, "That's clearly your handwriting. Who wronged you?"

He Qiuya broke down and cried, "I don't know why the letter was written in my handwriting! I don't know!"

The officer sneered, "I've seen people like you many times. You think you can get away with just talking tough? I'm telling you, the evidence is irrefutable. Your excuses will be useless."

He Qiuya stood up suddenly, "You can't do this! I didn't do it! You can't wrongly accuse me!"

The officer looked at her coldly, "Your shameful deeds have been reported. Someone with such corrupt conduct is unfit to remain in the art troupe. Expect to be expelled."

He Qiuya was so anxious that she went crazy. She couldn't be fired. If she was fired, her life would be over!

"No! You can't fire me! I didn't do it! I was wrongly accused!"

He Qiuya tore up the letter on the table like crazy and rushed out.

At a glance from the officer, two female soldiers went up to hold He Qiuya down and dragged her into another room.

Soon, the military district leaders made a reply, expelling He Qiuya for his corrupt work style and sending him to a farm for labor and ideological reform.

He Qiuya was not even allowed to go back to pack her clothes and was directly put on a car bound for the farm.

Being forced into the car, He Qiuya was still struggling desperately, "I want to see Minister Yao! I'm innocent! You can't fire me!"

But no one paid any attention to her. She was stuffed into a car and soon drove away from the military area.

All this happened unexpectedly. He Qiuya was sent directly to a remote farm without most people knowing.

The next day, a notice of He Qiuya's expulsion was posted on the military district's bulletin board, as a warning to others.

Qi Xiangrong saw it and hurried to the compound to tell Jiang Manyue about it.

"He Qiuya was fired! The notice also said that she was sent to a farm for reformation. Even if her reformation is completed, she will probably be deported back to her hometown. She probably won't be able to come back in this lifetime."

Jiang Manyue didn't expect the Military Commission to be so decisive. In just a day or two, He Qiuya was sent to the farm.

"Xiang Rong, did I go too far? She was fired and sent to a farm for reform. I guess she's never going to be able to recover..."

Jiang Manyue was a little worried. It seemed that her counterattack against He Qiuya had completely ruined her future.

Qi Xiangrong snorted coldly, "That's what she deserves. If she hadn't been thinking about how to harm you every day and reported you, she wouldn't have ended up like this."

"Luckily, nothing happened to you in the Military Commission. What if something happened? He Qiuya has harmed your family. She should know that reporting your petty bourgeois behavior could bring disaster to your family. She brought this upon herself. Don't blame us."

Jiang Manyue nodded. She was forced to fight back. If He Qiuya had not acted unfairly first, she would never have attacked her.

"Okay, sister-in-law, don't worry about this. I heard that Lu Lin and the others seem to be coming back soon, probably in the next two days."

Jiang Manyue immediately put He Qiuya behind her mind, "Really? Lu Lin is coming back?"

Qi Xiangrong nodded, "It's only been these two days."

Jiang Manyue was so happy that she wanted to go to the military district gate and wait right away.

Qi Xiangrong comforted Jiang Manyue for a few more words before leaving the compound.

The next day, Lu Lin came back as expected, carrying a luggage bag and looking tired.

Jiang Manyue felt very distressed to see him like this, so she told him to take a shower and go to bed quickly, and talk about everything after he woke up.

After Lu Lin finished taking a shower, he only had time to kiss Jiang Manyue and her belly, and then fell asleep on the bed.

Jiang Manyue checked him while he was sleeping and confirmed that he was not injured, but just too tired.

When Lu Lin woke up, it was already night. Lu Jun'an had already washed up and went back to his room to sleep.

Lu Lin turned over and hugged Jiang Manyue who was dozing off beside him.

Jiang Manyue was awakened by his movement and asked sleepily, "Are you awake? Do you want something to eat?"

Lu Lin kissed her and said, "I can cook a bowl of noodles myself, you can take a rest."

Jiang Manyue nodded. When Lu Lin came back from dinner, she was much more sober and talked to Lu Lin about what had happened during this period.

"I have to be honest with you. I did something big. It wasn't a good thing, and I asked Brother Cheng and Xiang Rong to help me do it."

"What's the big deal?"

Jiang Manyue recounted how He Qiuya reported their family and how she fought back, leading to her being fired and sent to a farm.

Lu Lin suddenly realized, "No wonder I heard people talking about someone being expelled from the art troupe on the way back. They were talking about He Qiuya?"

Jiang Manyue nodded. "She was the one who reported us first. I was even taken to the Military Commission. If it weren't for Brother Cheng and the others' help, I would have stayed there for a long time. I just wanted to get back at her, but the result was a bit unexpected. I thought they would just ask her to write a self-criticism and suspend her from work or something like that."

As she spoke, Jiang Manyue felt a little guilty. She didn't know what Lu Lin would think. What if he thought she was a bad person?
