"It's me."

A complex mix of emotions welled up in Chu Wuyang's heart.

She took a few steps closer to the sound, her voice somewhat hurried:

"What's going on? Where is this? Why are we here?"

She tried hard to recall, and a blurry image appeared in her mind—this morning, she rushed to the hospital to find Yunyang.

Just as she was about to reach the ward door, someone suddenly rushed out from the side and covered her mouth and nose with a handkerchief.

She paused, her gaze lowered, her voice tinged with bitterness and anger:

"In my panic, I shouted, hoping to attract other people to help me."

"As it turned out, they weren't afraid of anything, and instead tied me up as well."

Chu Wuyang bit her lower lip, feeling a chill run down her spine.

She stared at Yun Yang, trying to keep her voice steady:

"Why did they arrest you? You..."

Yun Yang closed her eyes briefly, her voice low and tinged with a hint of sarcasm:

"What else could it be? The target this time is clearly you; I'm just a result of you."

After he finished speaking, the room fell silent again.

The dim light outlined their vague silhouettes, the water stains on the walls emitted an unpleasant odor, and the damp floor was icy cold.

Chu Wuyang frowned and glanced at her, trying hard to suppress the emotions in his heart.

"So what do they want to do with us after they've captured us?"

Yun Yang leaned against the wall, slightly raising her head, forcing out a cold laugh, her voice tinged with weariness and mockery:

"What are you doing? Think about whether you've offended anyone recently..."
