Chapter 206 She is the Exception

When the door was kicked open, a lewd and disgusting smell wafted out.

Jingmin frowned and covered his mouth and nose in disgust.

He gave Li Yan, who was standing to the side, a cold glance.

Li Yan immediately realized what was happening and hurriedly went inside.

Open the doors and windows one by one.

Trying to get rid of this suffocating smell.

Jing Min stood at the door for a while, his face grim and his gaze gloomy.

I didn't step inside until the air inside had improved a little.

He glanced around.

It finally landed on a clean, brand-new knife.

He put his hands in his pockets, walked up to the knife, lightly kicked it with his foot, and raised an eyebrow with a sneer:

"What, you didn't have the courage to stab yourself with this knife the night before?"

In a corner of the room, Yunyang was huddled up in a disheveled state.

Her long, disheveled hair was loose, and her tattered clothes barely covered her body.

His thin shoulders trembled slightly.

Upon hearing Jingmin's words,

She seemed to move slightly, and raised her head.

His pale face appeared even more haggard and bleak in the dim light.

Her lips were chapped, and she spoke in a low, hoarse voice:

"...Even if you cut my whole body with a knife...this medicine wouldn't provide any relief whatsoever..."

Her tone was laced with sarcasm and despair.

Upon hearing this, Jing Min narrowed his eyes, standing there looking down at her from his superior position.

A cold smile curled at the corner of his lips, his voice low and indifferent:

"So you know what's going on? Good that you do!"

Yun Yang slowly closed her eyes, seemingly gritting her teeth to endure the indescribable pain within her body.

But he still spoke slowly, with a hint of a chilling laugh:

"This medicine...without a man, there's no cure, right..."

She suddenly opened her eyes, staring intently at Jing Min, her gaze filled with pain and hatred:

"This drug... is meant to keep me awake, to make me feel humiliated again and again... right?"

"Is this your punishment for me?"

This drug allowed her to experience the bitter consequences of her greed while in physical pain but fully conscious!

He really didn't intend to let her off the hook.

He did to her exactly what she had done to him!

Jing Min stared at her coldly, without a trace of pity in his eyes.

He did not answer her.

The meaning is self-evident.

Yun Yang trembled, clenched her teeth, and her face grew even paler. In a hoarse voice, she pressed for an answer:

"Then... what about Chu Wuyang? Her fate... won't be much better than mine, will it?"

"Hahaha! She's the mastermind! She forced me to join her in plotting against you!"

"At least I... I still have genuine feelings for you... What about her?"

"She's nothing but a pretentious bitch!"

Her laughter was hoarse and resentful, like a final struggle.

A flash of annoyance crossed Jing Min's eyes, and he coldly snapped:

"Shut up!"

Yun Yang's body jerked back, as if she were startled.

She was already huddled under the tattered blanket.

Now she's curled up even tighter.

Jingmin stopped looking at her.

His gaze turned to Li Yan.

The latter cleverly moved a relatively clean, worn-out chair from the corner.

It was placed in front of Jingmin.

Jingmin gracefully unbuttoned the first button of his suit jacket, sat down, his posture upright and his demeanor dignified.

He casually rested his elbow on the armrest of the chair, his gaze sweeping coldly over Yun Yang, who was huddled in the corner:

"The mastermind?"

"You poisoned me, didn't you?"

The statement is an affirmative statement.

Yun Yang's gaze immediately darted away.

His lips trembled slightly, as if he wanted to refute, but he couldn't utter a single word.

Seeing this, Jing Min gave a cold laugh, his voice low and disdainful:

"What, you've even lost the courage to admit it?"

Yun Yang lowered her head, her eyes fixed on her dirty hands.

He stopped talking.

Her tattered clothes couldn't hide her disheveled appearance, her messy hair, and her grime-stained skin.

At this moment, feelings of humility and shame once again brought her back to her identity as a fisherwoman.

She didn't dare to look up at Jing Min sitting in front of her.

The man exuded an unapproachable air of nobility and aloofness; his clean and handsome face...

The first time she saw him unconscious, she was overcome with lust, and from that moment on, she was doomed...

Jing Min didn't speak again, his eyes were cold.

It was as if they were waiting for her to come to terms with the facts and stop shifting blame.

He casually straightened his cuffs, his tone indifferent:

"You have no right to complain."

One sentence cut into her heart like a knife.

Yet she couldn't refute it.

A deep sense of resentment welled up in Yun Yang's lowered gaze.

She knew she had fallen into a bottomless quagmire and would never be able to climb out.

But she was unwilling to give up.

It was as if a dying person was trying to drag someone down with them.

His eyes were filled with resentment and madness, and he pressed on.

"Where's Chu Wuyang? Did you... send her a man too?"

After saying that, her eyes flickered slightly, as if she had found the answer to her guess and confirmed it.

"That must be it... Someone like you, cold-blooded and ruthless, wouldn't let anyone who schemes against you get away with it easily?"

She looked up at Jing Min, her eyes filled with stubbornness, her voice gradually becoming shrill:

"Even if she didn't drug you, you still wouldn't let her get away with it... right? No one is an exception, is there?"

Yun Yang's voice trembled as she stared intently at Jing Min's lips, almost using all her strength.

She longed to hear a "yes" from his mouth.

Jing Min remained silent for a moment, his gaze as deep and unfathomable as a cold pool.
