Chapter 339 Normal

"Normal, normal, healthy..."

She flipped through the pages one by one, her eyes almost blurring from looking at them.

The data in each report was neatly arranged, and the conclusions were all written in a uniform manner.

“Emotionally stable,” “Recovering well,” and “No violent tendencies.”

Turning to the last page, she suddenly laughed, a laugh that was almost a sob escaping her lips.

"Everything is normal, everything is perfect... Ridiculous, a joke!"

She suddenly flung her hand, and a thick stack of papers flew out like snowflakes, covering the floor in white.

Her breathing gradually calmed down, and she raised her hand to wipe away the tears that had involuntarily slid down her cheeks.

My fingers trembled as I reached for my phone.

She took a deep breath and slowly dialed Dr. Lina's number.

———

At 3:30 PM, in front of the private elevator on the top floor of Boyifang's headquarters,

The metal fingerprint lock made a soft click.

Chu Wuyang wore sunglasses, her red lips were tightly pursed, and her expression was cold to the point of being sharp.

She wore a simple, off-white trench coat, and her long, slender legs, accentuated by high heels, made every step she took seem sharp.

The elevator doors slowly closed behind her, taking her straight to the top floor.

The air in the top-floor secretarial area felt like a taut string.

The secretaries, heads bowed and busy at work, froze almost instantly. Someone whispered a reminder.

"Someone has entered the private elevator."

The next second, the crisp sound of high heels rang out.

It felt like a series of heavy blows to the heart.

"Excuse me, ma'am, over here—"

The secretary hurried forward, before she could finish speaking.

Chu Wuyang merely tilted her head slightly.

His gaze, hidden behind sunglasses, was like a knife slicing through the air, as he uttered a cold, indifferent sentence.

"I am your president's wife."

The secretary paused, a stiff smile appearing on her face.

Although a hint of suspicion flashed in his eyes

But the other party had an imposing presence and was also known as the president's wife.

No one dared to act rashly.

"The CEO is in a meeting. Would you please move to the lounge and wait a moment?"

"Where is the meeting room?"

Chu Wuyang interrupted calmly, his voice low and cold.

The secretary couldn't see her expression through her sunglasses, but felt a sudden tension run through her body.

He subconsciously raised his finger and pointed ahead.

The sound of high heels rang out again.

The sounds fell on the smooth tiles of the corridor floor.

Like the approaching beat of a drum, it makes one's heart race with unease.

She pushed the conference room door open.

Instantly, the calm and oppressive conference room fell silent.

There were more than a dozen pairs of eyes looking at her.

Jing Min was sitting in the main seat, holding a silver pen in his hand.

His brows were sharp, and he was about to explode with anger, his expression already furrowed.

He looked up and was slightly taken aback.

"How did you get here—"

Before he could finish speaking,

Chu Wuyang had already walked up to him amidst everyone's astonishment.

The movement was swift and decisive; he raised his hand—

"Smack!"

A stack of papers was suddenly flung out, grazing his cheek and bringing with it a gust of cold wind.

The documents and notebooks on the conference table were lifted at one corner, with papers scattered haphazardly.

The conference room was deathly silent.

Some people instinctively gasped.

Some people remained frozen in their seats.

I dared not utter a sound.

Jing Min turned his face away, his expression instantly darkening.

The light in his eyes was like the deep sea before a storm, dangerous and cold.

But only for a moment,

He raised his hand, his long, slender fingers waving in the air, his thin lips slightly pursed, his voice low and husky.

"Get out, all of you."

Everyone felt as if they had been granted a pardon.

He didn't even put away the computer, hurriedly got up and left, carefully closing the door behind him.
