Gu Chen didn't even turn his head, he was chopping seasonings, "I was afraid you wouldn't like it, so I made a separate one."
There were two people, and two dishes and a soup were laid out on the table.
Although the room was simply furnished, Gu Chen had figured out her preferences this time.
"I'll borrow a bicycle from the political commissar tomorrow. I also have a bicycle voucher here, so I'll buy one then. I'll also buy you some fruit. I'll be busy the day after tomorrow." Before coming, Gu Chen also brought the face cream that Xiao Xuejun's wife had given her. She was sitting on the bed applying it to the back of her hand; it smelled quite nice.
An hour had passed before Gu Chen entered the room.
"I just finished washing the clothes and mopping the floor outside. I can take you out earlier tomorrow." Gu Chen closed the door. There was no light switch by the bed, so he turned off the light as he came in.
Lin Yuxi felt a depression in the space next to her, and then those hands started setting fire to her body.
"Gu Chen!"
Gu Chen moved his face closer to her neck, his voice low and deep, "I'm listening."
The two of them immediately started cuddling together on the bed.
They didn't restrain themselves as much as they would in the village, but they did make less noise, since there were other people living nearby.
The next day, Gu Chen got up very early and bought some eggs and steamed buns from the cafeteria. Lin Yuxi had already finished washing up.
"I just brought the political commissar's bicycle over. You should have breakfast first, and then I'll take you to the department store to buy some clothes. You don't have enough clothes; you'll fill up your wardrobe."

After breakfast, Gu Chen washed the dishes. The clothes he had washed the night before were mostly dry.
"Get in the car, I'll take you out." Lin Yuxi got in, holding his clothes with both hands.
She mentally considered all the things she needed to buy. There really wasn't much nearby, and getting around was only possible by walking or cycling. Not having a car was indeed quite inconvenient.

Gu Chen said, pushing her into the fitting room, and then stood guard at the door like a gatekeeper.
When he went to borrow a bicycle from Xiao Xuejun a while ago, he was given a lot of advice, and he remembered one thing: you have to spoil your wife.
Lin Yuxi took the dress and went inside, quickly changing into it. In the hot weather, a dress was indeed more suitable. The light green floral print made her skin look even whiter. When she came out, Gu Chen was stunned for a second.

The two of them spent most of the day out shopping. Gu Chen even bought Lin Yuxi two pairs of shoes. They bought quite a lot of things before riding their bicycles back home.
However, on the way back, most of his belongings were still on his car. Lin Yuxi rode her bicycle behind him with ease, enjoying the scenery along the way.
