The noise from next door was neither too loud nor too soft, just enough to reach Lin Yuxi's ears. She lowered her head, pursed her lips, and smiled, the corners of her lips turning up as well.
"Everyone's praising you." Lin Yuxi squeezed his hand. The two of them were as sweet as candy. After all, Gu Chen trained every day, and the two of them hadn't been this affectionate in a long time.

"Okay, I can find as many as you need." Gu Chen nodded and closed the glass door.
Lin Yuxi curled the corners of her lips. "You only have a junior high school education now. If you have nothing to do when you come home every day, you can study with me."
It's not enough for her to be the only one reading at home. She's gotten He Cuiping involved too lately, so Gu Chen will definitely have to start learning as well.
“Sure, I’ll help you study by lamplight tonight.” Gu Chen joked, a rare occurrence for him.
