Chapter 93 I just accidentally bumped into her (2/2)

The old man slowly walked away with his ceramic cup in his hand, while the man carried the books back one by one.

Lin Yuxi didn't know how long she had been sitting. She had just moved the stool when she found that her foot slipped, as if she had stepped on something. Looking down, she saw a piece of brown paper.

"Huh? What's this?"

She bent down and picked up the papers on top.

The kraft paper was laid flat on the table, covered with a long string of calculation data, but the formula in the middle did not continue, as if something was wrong.

This paper seems to have been left by that man from earlier?

Lin Yuxi glanced at it and found that the formulas were actually quite simple. She had brought paper and pen with her, so she tore off a piece of paper and wrote down the solutions to several formulas on it. Finally, she folded the two pieces of paper together, checked her watch, and realized it was almost time to go back.

When she left, she handed the two pieces of paper to the old man at the library.

"This must have been dropped by that uncle earlier. Please keep it for him and see if he needs it next time he comes." Lin Yuxi handed the item to him and then left.

Pushing open the door, the blast of cold air from outside made Lin Yuxi wrap herself tighter in a towel.

Lin Yuxi unlocked the bicycle and rode it home.

About half an hour after she left the library, Gao Kangcheng rushed back looking anxious.

"I think I just dropped a piece of paper. Can you check if your library has it? I've been looking all the way here, but I can't find it. I'm so worried." Gao Kangcheng wiped the sweat from his forehead. He had been looking all the way back, but couldn't find it anywhere. He had been running so fast that he was covered in sweat, and had even taken off his cotton-padded coat and hung it on his bicycle.

The old man looked up, glanced at him, and chuckled, "I told you not to rush into work, but you wouldn't listen. It would be better to go out and walk around more. That piece of paper of yours was picked up by the pregnant woman, and she just happened to leave it with me."

After saying that, he took the paper out of the drawer.

Gao Kangcheng breathed a sigh of relief. "Where is she? If it weren't for her, I guess all these calculations I made would have been lost again."

The old man glanced at the bruises under his eyes and said with a relaxed expression, "That girl left a long time ago."

Gao Kangcheng originally wanted to thank her, but she had already left.

But the moment he received the paper, his expression changed slightly. There was another sheet underneath?

He didn't have paper like that envelope, with pen and ink scattered across the paper.

"Who...who wrote this?"

With trembling hands, he asked him, "The formula above is correct, but there are actually five or six more ways to solve the problem."

The old man looked up at him and exclaimed in surprise, "Isn't this yours? It was like this when she gave it to me, two pieces of paper folded together."

Gao Kangcheng remained silent.

"When does that pregnant woman usually come? Tell me when she comes and call me right away. Don't forget, it's very important!" Gao Kangcheng left him his phone number and rushed out the door, unable to hide the surprise on his face.

What a talent!

A genius beyond compare!

As he ran, he made sure to keep the draft paper safe.

Seeing his excited expression, the old man couldn't bear to interrupt him, because this was Lin Yuxi's first time here, and he really didn't know when she would come.

Lin Yuxi, seeing that it was noon, leisurely rode her bicycle back to the family compound. She wondered if Zou Lengyan would continue to spread rumors. Thinking of Mo Yang's disheveled state back then, she couldn't help but laugh out loud.

"Serves you right!"
