Shang Ning glanced back, feeling embarrassed at being exposed. She slightly raised her hand, "Um, we can study the camera angles. I've recently discovered quite a few natural lighting techniques..."
Shang Ning couldn't continue speaking.
This lie sounds a bit unbelievable.
It's also somewhat clumsy.
When Chen Yiyang came in, they were already in an awkward situation.
Chen Yiyang placed a military overcoat on Shang Ning's bed, then glanced at He Zhiyan indifferently before turning and leaving.
"Professor Chen." To break the awkward silence, Shang Ning hurriedly took a notebook out of her suitcase and followed.
Shang Ning followed, but Chen Yiyang only glanced at her and said, "Don't go taking pictures alone, it's too dangerous."
"Professor Chen, I'd like to ask about this." Shang Ning said, handing over the tattered notebook. He didn't know why he brought it; perhaps he wanted to leave it in the Arctic.
After all, everyone is selfish when it comes to feelings, and she is no exception.
But she didn't expect to run into Chen Yiyang, so she wanted to ask who the owner of this notebook was.
Chen Yiyang looked down and took the notebook from him. "How did you get this?"
"Does Professor Chen know whose this is?"
After Shang Ning asked her question, Chen Yiyang's gaze towards her changed slightly. Chen Yiyang twirled the notebook in his hand, "You don't recognize it?"
"Isn't this Teacher Jin's?" Shang Ning asked back.
Chen Yiyang nodded, clearly speechless, and then slapped the notebook into Shang Ning's hand. "You'd better take it back intact. This is the first time Yi Ning has ever gotten angry at home because of this notebook. It's more important than his life."
Shang Ning: "..."
Shang Ning watched Chen Yiyang leave, then looked down at the notebook, puffing out her cheeks slightly. Qin Wei, that jinx, was she really going to lose to a dead man?
Have we already lost before we even made a move?
"Jin Yining, your life is worthless." Shang Ning was so angry that she wanted to throw the notebook away, but in the end she silently took it back.
When Shang Ning turned around, He Zhiyan was looking at her. Shang Ning was still holding the notebook in her hand, but she finally put it down.
He Zhiyan's eyes darkened. "Call me when you want to go out and take pictures. I'll go with you." After saying that, He Zhiyan returned to his igloo.
Shang Ning sighed softly. How could she not know He Zhiyan's heart? But Jin Yining was right about one thing: childhood sweethearts are no match for someone who falls from the sky.
"Zhiyan, I like Jin Yining, the kind of liking where I would actively pursue him." He Zhiyan heard this before going in.
He paused for a moment, then nodded slightly. "Okay, I understand."
Unlike his indecisiveness, Shang Ning directly cut off his right to fantasize.
Shang Ning was taking pictures here, but she didn't see the aurora she wanted for several days.
Jin Yining has been busy lately, contacting the old man and many other people, all in an effort to restart that project.
He turned down many business opportunities and accompanied the old man to meet many people he didn't know for the first time, exchanging pleasantries with them, all in an effort to secure an opportunity.
While Jin Yining was busy restarting the experiment and Shang Ning was taking photos in the Arctic, voices opposing the rivalry between the two Nings began to appear in Jin Yining's solo supertopic, along with some negative comments about "Ning Kong".
By the time Jin Yining discovered it, things had already spiraled out of control.
