Shang Ning sat on the recliner and soon felt sleepy. The wind outside was cold, so she closed the window after the smell dissipated and lay down on the recliner, intending to take a nap and wait for Chen Yiyang to wake up.
Shang Ning slept quite soundly, and was finally woken up by Jin Yining's phone call. She wasn't fully awake when she reached for the phone.
"Hello..." Shang Ning mumbled sleepily.
"Asleep?" Jin Yining called during her break, and from her voice, he knew she had just woken up.
"You fell asleep after lying down for a while, are you resting?" Shang Ning closed his eyes and woke up, thinking that he should still be on set.
"You just rested, are you going to sleep?"
"Alright." Shang Ning sniffed, finally opened her eyes, glanced at Chen Yiyang who was still sleeping on the bed, got up, took her phone, and went outside, also taking a room key with her.
"Have you had lunch?" Shang Ning closed the door and found a place to sit in the hallway outside.
"Not yet, I'll be eating boxed lunches on set later."
Shang Ning: "..."
She had experienced the boxed lunches served on their film set before, and they really weren't that tasty.
"When did you get home?"
"We arrived this morning and are at the hotel now."
"Why are you going to a hotel instead of going home?"
"Your sister is drunk and causing a scene at the hotel. We can't just let He Zhiyan watch her like that." Shang Ning rubbed his neck and looked outside. It had started snowing, much earlier than usual this year.
There was a moment of silence on Jin Yining's end before she spoke up: "My mom talked to her about it before, and she probably couldn't stand it and ran away."
Shang Ning: "..."
Her spoiled, spoiled attitude is understandable.
"They've already been fired, is it really necessary for you guys to make such a fuss?" Shang Ning clicked his tongue.
"The two of them started arguing as they were talking. Uncle Chen probably had talked to her before, because she sometimes says hurtful things. Otherwise, I would have called my mom and asked her to come over."

Upon hearing this, Shang Ning suddenly realized that there was some truth to it.
"Don't take her harsh words to heart; she's just been in a bad mood lately."
"I understand her quite well. I was also in a bad mood when I abandoned Shang Ning, and you even tricked me into drinking a few times."
"Nonsense, when did I lie to you?" Jin Yining refused to admit it, looked at the staff member who came over to deliver the food, told him to put it down first, and continued, "Go and get something to eat."
"Okay, I'll go out and buy some food in a bit. I guess your sister will be hungry when she wakes up." Shang Ning checked the time and decided to go downstairs to buy food. She was familiar with this place. "You eat first, I'll go downstairs to buy some things."

"It's nothing, you go eat, I'm going downstairs to buy something." Shang Ning got up and walked towards the elevator. "It stopped raining today and then it started snowing. This little princess of the Leng family has quite a temper."
Jin Yining picked up the lunchbox and put her phone aside without hanging up. "Just wait, it won't be over anytime soon."
Shang Ning's lips twitched. The little princess is indeed the little princess.
