Christmas was perfect for Snape, except for that sweater.
The most perfect time was the two-week vacation. There were very few people in the school and Snape only met a few people the whole day. He liked this quiet atmosphere very much.
It didn't snow on Christmas. Snape used a snow-making spell to create a small snow scene, and then used Transfiguration to create a Christmas tree and a reindeer carriage that fit the shape of the peacock for the peacock to play with. He was reading a book under a blanket.
Over there, Sirius also received a gift from the real Lupin.
"So who gave this to me?" He counted his gifts and couldn't find anyone who matched them.
But when he looked at the letters sent from home, which contained threats, intimidation, tender persuasion and family interests, he was fed up with them and threw himself on the bed and fell asleep in his sweater.
No matter who gave it to him, he liked it very much.
"Ah--tsk!" Peacock and Snape sneezed loudly again.
The peacock came down from the snow pile, made the snow disappear, and made a reindeer sofa for himself. He curled up in it, covered himself with a soft blanket, and took a sip of hot tea.
She thought she might have a cold.
"Can fairies catch colds?" asked Snape.
"Of course, but it's not an ordinary natural environment, but magical snow. Fairies with weak magical powers will freeze to death." However, no fairy with weak magical powers would go there to seek trouble. There are so many places with suitable fairyland environments. Do they have to go there to cause trouble?
For the next few days, Snape wore furry clothes. Peacock said, "Furry clothes are what you need in winter!"
Snape turned off the lights and rubbed his clothes, expressing his protest with practical actions.
I am the Thunder Lord.
Peacock used magic to eliminate the static electricity: "Even natural fibers have static electricity. It's normal."
"So is it normal that my hair becomes like Medusa's brother Medus?" Snape was referring to his own hair that floated up and twisted like snakes.
Peacock:……
"Why don't you try some fabric softener?" Peacock suggested to Snape.
Snape then used an owl to buy some materials and successfully made an anti-static potion before they returned to school.
Lucius, who came to Snape's dormitory every day to hunt for treasure, soon put the pen he gave him to use, and they signed a cooperation agreement on this potion.
"The dress is lovely. Was it made by that lady too?" Lucius fiddled with the swaying puffy stone diffuser on Snape's desk.
Today Snape was still wearing a furry, sky blue vertical striped sweater, white pants with sky blue flowers on the hem, and a pair of furry white cattail slippers on his feet, which made Snape's dead face, which looked like he was waiting for a funeral, look a lot cuter.
"Yes." Snape was disturbed by the rolling sound and wanted to press down the tumbler but was stopped by Lucius.
Lucius was the first to hold down the tumbler and gave Snape an apologetic smile: "Her design talent should shine in the world."
"If you insist on saying something obvious, you can leave." Snape stopped writing, not knowing what Lucius was rambling about.
"You know, Cissy and I are engaged." Lucius said a little shyly.
Snape waited for a moment but received no further response: "You want to break up?"
"We have a very good relationship! Very good!" Lucius Dragon roared, "I want you to contact your friend who has a talent for fashion design to help us design a unique, elegant, and very, very beautiful wedding dress.
Because we are going to get married after graduation.”
Snape looked at Lucius's shy and timid expression and got goosebumps.
"Oh, I will tell her. Whether she agrees or not is her business." Snape agreed. Peacock had heard it anyway.
"Then I'm leaving it to you. Please tell her that money is not a problem." Lucius said generously.
"Okay." After making sure they didn't have any more nonsense, Snape used magic to open the dormitory door, signaling Lucius to leave.
Lucius stood up and slowly took the ornament he had been playing with for half a day. "You made this ornament, right? It's very unique. Make another one. I'll take this one."
Snape: ...
He clearly remembered that Lucius was not like this before.
Lucius was still very reserved in front of others, but in Snape's dormitory he couldn't help but relax and unconsciously made some more free actions.
"Wedding, I wonder if I can attend Severus's wedding." Peacock sat on his little hanging basket, holding his face and wondering what Snape's wedding would be like.
Snape also thought about what Peacock said, and his mind went blank: "I can't think of it."
Peacock stared at Snape, at this young man who had difficulty even imagining happiness: "When Sev finds someone he likes in the future, he'll know. It's so romantic to think that even the best things in the world can't match her feelings!"
Peacock swung her feet, and she felt like she was getting drunk in her own fantasy.
Snape shuddered.
How can someone say such corny words as “the best things in the world are not worthy of her”?
After returning to school, Lily reported the good news to Snape. Her relationship with Petunia had improved a lot. Now that Lily had gone to school, most of her parents' attention had returned to Petunia. No one was comparing her with Lily anymore, and she felt much better.
She is now also looking for something she likes. Since magic is completely out of her reach, she wants to find something she likes.
