Chapter 6 Diagon Alley

Irene couldn't hear what Peacock said, but she could hear Snape's complaints. She looked at her son who had become much cleaner recently and finally didn't ask anything.

She took Snape into the Leaky Cauldron, walked straight through the strange crowd to the trash can at the back door, and hit the bricks on the trash can with her wand, and a small hole appeared. The hole expanded, and the door appeared in front of Snape.

"Go buy what you need." Irene said and left, not caring whether Snape would buy it or not.

Snape felt more comfortable without Irene by his side. Peacock also emerged from the bag and sighed, "Well, it seems this door doesn't have the ability to transform. I'll have to rely on you. Peacock Kiss, transform into a sparkling one!"

Peacock took off the peacock feather on his head to cast a spell. The peacock feather flew around Snape and changed Snape's clothes. Inside was a white shirt with lantern sleeves and a floral collar, and suit pants. Outside was a green velvet robe with side openings. The lapels of the robe were four-finger-wide golden lace with mysterious patterns, connected by gold buckles. The side opening design allowed Snape's lantern sleeves to stretch out, and the hem of the robe was woven with waves, reefs and mysterious runes.

Snape felt himself warming up instantly; the old clothes he had worn were still a little too cold for this weather.

Finally, Peacock added a golden-green dragonfly brooch made of gemstone beads to the collar and nodded with satisfaction.

"Should we make wands first? Is it the Ollivander's wand shop? I want a wand too--" Peacock had her own wand, but that did not conflict with her desire for a wand.

"Not enough money." Snape frankly expressed his embarrassment.

The clothes can be entrusted to Peacock, and the textbooks can be used with the ones left by Irene, but a few more books need to be bought because Irene sold all the books except for the spells book, the potions book and the book "A History of Hogwarts", and now Snape's books are not complete.

In addition to the pot, phial and scales for making potions, he also needs a telescope.

Snape only had a very little money, and if Irene hadn't told him that he could buy a brand new wand, he would have doubted whether this amount of money was enough for him to buy a wand.

The peacock lowered its head.

"Can we buy it again when I finish my studies and can make money?" Snape asked softly, looking at the dejected Peacock. He actually felt very guilty. Peacock brought him so much help, but he couldn't even buy another wand.

It was not until a wizard on the roadside angrily told his friend that he had sold a gem at Gringotts and had been severely undercut by a hateful and treacherous goblin that the peacock suddenly raised its head.

"Siv, did you hear that? We can go sell gems." Peacock said in surprise. He didn't expect that selling gems in the magical world was so easy.

Selling gems in ordinary society is relatively simple, but it is obviously not open to Snape's class at that time. Peacock has the intention but can't find a way.

"This is a scam. We will be in trouble if we are discovered." Snape refused. He didn't want to be imprisoned before even entering Hogwarts.

He still remembered what Peacock said, that the clothes and other things she conjured were all supported by immortal power, and without immortal power these things would disappear, and he thought the same would be true for gems.

Peacock gave Snape a slap on the head: "What are you talking about? The gem is real, but it's a pity that I only brought one."

Peacock took out his gem, which was a large, pure emerald without any impurities. The gem was so big that Peacock, who had now turned into a doll, was almost dropped by its heavy weight.

"Ordinary gemstones like these aren't considered precious in Wonderland. The most valuable are those power gemstones condensed from immortal energy. I brought one here just because I liked it, but I never thought it would come in handy." Peacock placed the gem in Snape's hand. "Let's go! To Gringotts!"

Snape looked at the huge gem in his hand, and was dragged forward by Peacock in a daze. Halfway through, Peacock saw that Snape didn't look very smart, and directly dragged Snape into a corner to open a parallel world.

"Transform!" Peacock touched Snape's fingers: "I, Peacock, am willing to sign a contract with Severus Snape."

Snape subconsciously extended his hand and said, "I, Severus Snape, am willing to enter into a contract with Peacock."

Snape's transformed image is a slightly thin adult with slightly curly semi-long hair of medium height. The innermost clothes are a black shirt, a tie of the same color and a pair of pinstripe trousers. The trousers are also very design-conscious with a row of silver-white metal decorations.

On the outside was a velvet blue shirt with silver buttons that covered the knees, and on the outside was a black robe with a fake two-piece design on the sleeves that was a slightly suit style.

The transformed image is related to the child's fantasy of what he or she will look like when he or she grows up. It is based on fantasy with a little magical modification. The magical modification of the peacock costume accounts for the vast majority.

"Okay, put away your stupid look. You are just a gem. Put away that face of yours that looks like you are working twelve hours a day, helping your boss solve personal problems, being a bodyguard for your juniors, and even going undercover as if you are about to take revenge on society in the next second." Peacock said with satisfaction.

Snape: "Are you describing me as some kind of English slave? Such oppression should have been confined to a hundred years ago."

(So Dumbledore used Snape like this because he had lived for over a hundred years and had seen how people used slaves?)

Snape walked down the street with a straight face as if the whole world owed him a million gold Galleons, which saved him from a lot of harassment.

For example, Sirius Black, who was hanging out with his brother James Potter, patted James's shoulder excitedly: "Hey! Brother! Look at that outfit, it's so handsome!"
