Chapter 2 The bathroom was just before lunch break, and the corridor was originally very...
It was almost lunchtime, and the corridor was usually quiet, but the loud noise made the whole building irritable.
People were already rushing down the corridor, looking for the source of the sound.
The third time!
Bang!
The bathroom door lock suddenly fell off, hanging precariously with a large hole in it.
The moment Feng Xingyun flung open the bathroom door and rushed in, his mind went blank upon seeing the scene inside. Liu Duanhe was lying motionless on the floor, making no sound.
He walked straight up and squatted down. The showerhead was still spraying water, wetting his trouser legs.
The showerhead was still running, the water accumulating on the willow branches and the fair, smooth body of the child, meandering like a river.
This was the first time he had seen Liu Duanhe without clothes. He had broad shoulders, a narrow waist, and an inverted triangle shape. His chest muscles were smooth and white, and his abdominal lines were excellent. His legs were long, thin, and straight. When he was dressed, he had a refined and cultured demeanor. Even though Feng Xingyun knew he was on the swimming team, he had no idea what Liu Duanhe's physique was like.
Another thought that came to mind was how faint the pigmentation was, it was actually pink!
Feng Xingyun found it hard to believe that, apart from the world of anime, there were actually people who were pink, a pink even lighter than cherry blossoms, which immediately evoked some romantic and sentimental thoughts. The pure cherry blossom color on a man, however, had a kind of obscure and unspeakable desire.
Liu Duanhe's entire body seemed to be a breeding ground for desire, and it was as beautiful as his face.
Feng Xingyun secretly compared their muscles. He did a mix of aerobic and anaerobic exercise every day, never missing a day of basketball and running. In addition, due to his natural skeletal advantage, his muscles were larger.
But when he glanced at Liu Duanhe in front of him and saw the blood flowing out, which he had been hiding, all those chaotic thoughts disappeared.
Even the blood he shed during his most frequent fights during his rebellious phase never frightened him.
However, Liu Duanhe was different. From a young age, he was the best student who didn't need his parents to worry about him, let alone get into fights, especially not with such a serious injury to his head.
Even he himself was surprised by his own panic at this moment, because he had never liked Liu Duanhe. But Feng Xingyun soon realized that he was so anxious because of his compassion for his fellow human beings. Liu Duanhe was someone he saw every day, and it was always easier to worry and sigh when someone he knew was in trouble.
Feng Xingyun carefully put one arm around Liu Duanhe's back and the other around his knees, and lifted Liu Duanhe into his arms. Liu Duanhe was over 1.8 meters tall, and Feng Xingyun's figure completely covered Liu Duanhe from behind.
His eyes, which usually held a faint smile, were half-closed. He was soaking wet, looking pitiful and powerless, so soft that it evoked pity.
Feng Xingyun didn't know why his heart was beating so fast, and his back was covered in cold sweat in the 30-degree heat.
He first placed Liu Duanhe on a chair. Just then, there was a knocking sound at the door. Feng Xingyun didn't have time to pay attention to anyone else, and simply said loudly, "My roommate just had an accident."
The person outside the door was startled and quickly called out, "Brother, do you need any help?"
Feng Xingyun's only need right now was a car, so he replied, "No need."
He picked up his phone and called a friend, briefly and urgently explaining what had happened. Feng Xingyun told him to quickly drive and wait downstairs at the dormitory.
Although Feng Xingyun got his driver's license as soon as he turned 11, his car had just been sent for modifications a couple of days ago, so he couldn't drive it.
Fortunately, their school was in the old campus, which was in a bustling area, and the hospital wasn't far away. The noisy sounds coming from the corridor made his tone particularly irritable when he made the phone call.
Hearing the voices beside him, Liu Duanhe forced open his eyes and saw a familiar figure swaying in front of him. The already fair face was now as pale as paper due to blood loss.
"Liu...she's bleeding a lot from her head...come quick!"
The buzzing sound was still in his ears, making it barely audible to him.
Liu Duanhe's mind was still mostly functioning, but the pain and dizziness in his brain led him to guess that he had at least a concussion. What bad luck.
He wasn't even dressed, and in his dizziness, he remembered falling directly to the ground. Even though he was now too dizzy and nauseous to stand, Liu Duanhe still found it harder to accept psychologically; he wanted to go back to the bathroom and shower again!
The ground where the shoes have been is absolutely filthy!
Following his memory of where Liu Duanhe had taken his clothes, Feng Xingyun hurriedly retrieved Liu Duanhe's underwear and clothes from his closet, squatted down, grabbed his ankle, and lifted one of Liu Duanhe's legs to put them on.
Liu Duanhe could vaguely make out the scene before him, and he murmured, "Don't wear it, don't wear it, give me a shower first, it's so dirty, so dirty."
Feng Xingyun heard his voice but couldn't make out the specific content, so he could only stand up and bring his lips close to his.
Liu Duanhe's lips turned pale. He repeated it several times before Feng Xingyun could hear him clearly. He was shocked. Even at a time like this, Liu Duanhe's mysophobia was still there.
He frowned deeply, but knowing how fastidious Liu Duanhe was about cleanliness, he still put his arm around Liu Duanhe's back and walked him to the bathroom.
The cold from blood loss made Liu Duan instinctively curl up against Feng Xingyun to draw warmth; he had never felt so comfortable with such a scorching body temperature before.
Feng Xingyun quickly turned on the shower. The water was still hot. He quickly poured the hot water over the man's entire body, then casually unwrapped a towel from the basket next to him, wrapped it around the man, and vigorously rubbed him to dry him off.
Liu Duanhe felt the water rushing over him and immediately felt much better, and his spirits lifted.
He roused himself, and though still weak, said with utmost sincerity, "Thank you."
Feng Xingyun snapped out of his urgency, grunted, and then swept him up in his arms again. Liu Duanhe had wanted to say that he could walk a little, but he was interrupted by Feng Xingyun's actions before he could finish speaking.
The cell phone on the table rang. He placed Liu Duanhe on the chair, freed one hand to swipe and answer the call, and turned on the speakerphone.
After handing him the shirt, Feng Xingyun took the underwear and put it on Liu Duanhe's legs. A male voice came from the other end of the phone, "I've driven the car downstairs. Come down with the people quickly."
Liu Duanhe didn't have time to stop him. He said he would try it on himself, and could only comfort himself that they were both men and it was no big deal.
When it came to the hip bone, since Liu Duanhe couldn't lift it any further while sitting in the chair, he didn't dwell on it and simply picked up the trousers and helped him put them on.
Blood was still flowing, staining his shirt as it trickled down his skull. When Feng Xingyun raised his hand, a drop of blood landed right on his arm.
His expression terrified Liu Duanhe for a moment. Liu Duanhe even wanted to stand up and comfort Feng Xingyun, who was feeling alright. But Feng Xingyun picked him up again.
He was barefoot, without socks or shoes.
The dormitory, which had made such a loud noise, finally opened its door. The eyes of the people who were still peeking out to watch the commotion fell on the two of them in surprise, and they were even more shocked when they saw the blood on his body.
But since he was carried out, the injury definitely wasn't from a fight.
Liu Duanhe noticed that everyone's eyes were on them, and he wished he could bury himself in the ground. He had never been so humiliated before, being carried out by a man with his clothes disheveled.
Feng Xingyun hurriedly went down the stairs and ran out of the dormitory building. His exposed skin was so white in the sunlight that it was almost transparent, as smooth as jade. His ten fingers gripped Feng Xingyun's collar tightly, and his pearly toes curled up in shame.
This shame briefly overwhelmed his fastidiousness when he was out of his mind, and Liu Duanhe buried his face in the crook of his neck, not showing a single bit of his face.
He slipped and fell in the shower, ending up in the hospital. It was so embarrassing; he could imagine the ridicule he would face if word got out.
The sunlight made him dizzy. At this point, Liu Duanhe was almost unconscious. He could still vaguely hear the sounds from the outside world, but he was unable to react.
The friend Feng Xingyun called was Zhao Yi, a friend of his from the basketball team. Before Feng Xingyun even reached the car, Zhao Yi got out and opened the back door.
His expression was extremely anxious and full of worry.
Feng Xingyun was surprised for a moment, then assumed that he was just like him, feeling compassion for someone he knew who was so badly injured.
Zhao Yi drove an SUV with a spacious back seat. Feng Xingyun first put Liu Duanhe in the back seat, and then naturally sat down in the back seat as well, putting his arm around Liu Duanhe's shoulder to prevent him from falling off while the car was moving.
After all, Liu Duanhe looked like he was about to lose consciousness, and if he didn't take good care of him, something bad could happen.
Zhao Yi hesitated for a moment as he closed the car door. He had originally intended to sit in the back to take care of Liu Duanhe, with Feng Xingyun driving. Most people on the basketball team knew that he liked Liu Duanhe, while Feng Xingyun, and his friends, knew that he unusually disliked Liu Duanhe. Their relationship wasn't very good, and Zhao Yi had even tried to persuade Feng Xingyun to ease their tension.
Seeing Zhao Yi standing outside the carriage in a daze, Feng Xingyun frowned and asked, "Zhao Yi, what are you still doing standing outside?"
Zhao Yi banished all the random thoughts from her mind, quickly closed the car door, got into the driver's seat, and shifted gears.
A small first-aid kit was thoughtfully placed in the back seat of the car. Feng Xingyun first took out gauze and wrapped it around the bleeding area where Liu Duanhe was looking.
His technique wasn't very good, and he messed up Liu Duanhe's originally wet and flowing black hair. Fortunately, he was good-looking, so even so, it didn't look funny. Instead, it had a surprisingly carefree and unrestrained beauty.
After getting into the car on his way to the hospital, Feng Xingyun finally snapped out of his panic from the shock. He looked down at Liu Duanhe from his elevated position, at such close range that he could almost smell a fragrance in his breath. Liu Duanhe's long, thick eyelashes gave his eyes a natural eyeliner effect when they were open, making his already beautiful phoenix eyes even more captivating.
Feng Xingyun suddenly felt something was wrong; he was trying to write something in a jumbled mess.
Liu Duanhe's consciousness had already sunk halfway into the deep sea. In the driver's seat, Zhao Yi had been observing the back seat for quite a while because of the two-minute red light. He took in all of Feng Xingyun's expressions, and his brain's radar was pounding wildly. He carefully asked, "Feng Xingyun, do you like Liu Duanhe?"
Feng Xingyun was taken aback by his unexpected question and subconsciously retorted, "How could that be? How could I possibly like someone who always wears a mask, is extremely hypocritical, and has a morbid obsession with cleanliness? I can't even imagine who he'll become in the future; that person would be incredibly unlucky."
In conclusion, to support his claim, he listed a series of Liu Duanhe's shortcomings.
Zhao Yi twitched the corner of her mouth and frowned, saying, "Liu Duanhe is very good. Don't judge him with your prejudice."
Feng Xingyun asked in surprise, "Do you also like Liu Duanhe?"
Zhao Yi frankly said, "Yes, I like him, and I want to be his boyfriend."
"So, Feng Xingyun, I hope you really are as you say."
He uttered his last words softly.
Feng Xingyun scoffed, feeling a little uncomfortable, and retorted, "Mind your own business."
Liu Duanhe struggled desperately to surface in the sea of consciousness. He heard voices from the outside world intermittently, but he couldn't tell who was speaking. Every sentence sounded exactly the same. He subconsciously tried to catch the sentences that contained his name.
"Feng Xingyun, do you like Liu Duanhe?"
"...Very good, ...prejudice."
"Do you like...?"
"Yes, it's my...boyfriend."
