"Isn't Wang Han's medical skill too superb?" Inside the house, Uncle Jiu watched Wang Han casually recount medical principles and couldn't help but think to himself. He had originally wanted to test Wang Han's medical skills, fearing that Wang Han's skills weren't up to par. Now it seemed that he had been overthinking things. Since Wang Han, who could say that having too much money would attract the attention of unscrupulous people, dared to say he could treat patients, his medical skills were naturally not a problem, and were even superb. With his own meager traditional Chinese medicine skills, let alone testing Wang Han, it was simply like trying to teach a fish to swim. Uncle Jiu couldn't help but admire Wang Han. With such high medical skills, he only charged for the cost of living and basic necessities when treating patients.
"Wang Han, did you run a clinic before?" Uncle Jiu asked, thinking that it would be a pity if Wang Han, with such superb medical skills, didn't open a clinic to benefit more people.
“I’ve never opened a clinic,” Wang Han shook his head. “I used to run other businesses and only occasionally treated people.”
"Wang Han, you went to university, right?" Wen Cai asked curiously. He felt that Wang Han must have been a university graduate to have such superb medical skills.
Uncle Nine didn't think Wang Han had gone to university. Wang Han's medical skills were not something that could be taught in a university. Such superb medical skills must have many secrets that were not passed down. He seemed more like a personal disciple of a master doctor.
“I went to university,” Wang Han nodded. “But I didn’t study medicine.”
Wencai didn't know what was taught in university either, and he felt it was a pity that Wang Han didn't study medicine.
"Master." Just as Wang Han and Uncle Jiu were talking, a young man's voice rang out from outside the mortuary.
"It's Qiusheng. Wencai, go open the door for Qiusheng." Uncle Jiu instructed Wencai upon hearing the voice outside the mortuary. Then he said to Wang Han, "Qiusheng is another apprentice of mine. He doesn't live in the mortuary; he lives with his aunt and usually helps her run the shop."
"Master." Qiu Sheng quickly ran in, first greeting Uncle Jiu, then curiously looking at Wang Han. Just before he came in, Wen Cai had told him that there was a guest.
"Wang Han, this is my little apprentice, Qiu Sheng," Uncle Jiu introduced to Wang Han.
"My name is Wang Han." Wang Han said to Qiu Sheng with a smile, "I will be living in the mortuary for a long time from now on, so please bear with me."
Qiu Sheng quickly and politely said, "Let's help each other out."
“Now that Qiu Sheng is here, let’s go out and buy some things together,” Uncle Jiu said.
"Hmm." Wang Han nodded. He also needed to buy some daily necessities, and taking them out of his backpack would attract too much attention.
Knowing he would be doing hard labor, Qiu Sheng quickly said, "Master, my aunt asked me to help her watch the shop, so I won't be going with you."
Doesn't Uncle Nine understand Qiu Sheng? He knows Qiu Sheng is making excuses, and he glares at him.
Seeing Uncle Nine glare at him, Qiu Sheng quickly changed his tune and said, "Well, Master, my aunt is still looking after the shop, so it's fine to go later. I'll go with you too."
"You're smart enough to know your place," Uncle Nine said with satisfaction. Qiu Sheng is clever, but too mischievous, loves to play tricks, is lazy, not reliable enough, and quite audacious. Wen Cai is honest, but too dull and lacks courage.
——————————————
More than a month passed quickly, and Wang Han finally saw the zombie he had been hoping for. However, it was a corpse transported by Uncle Nine's junior apprentice, and Wen Cai was even tricked by Qiu Sheng. It wasn't a real zombie. Uncle Nine even caught a ghost once, but it was just a minor ghost, far inferior to the water ghost that Wang Han had destroyed. Uncle Nine didn't have to put in much effort to put it into an altar. In addition, Uncle Nine also did some feng shui consultations for people. Wang Han, on the other hand, occasionally treated people's illnesses, and each time he cured them with his medicine, he gained considerable fame.
"Wang Han, how about you come with me to discuss a business deal today?" Early in the morning, Uncle Jiu invited Wang Han, "The other party is the Ren family, and we've arranged to meet at a Western-style restaurant."
'Master Ren, it seems the plot is about to begin,' Wang Han thought to himself, and nodded, saying, 'Alright.'
"Master, I want to go too! I've never eaten at a Western restaurant before!" Wen Cai, who was busy working nearby, quickly ran over and said.
“Then let’s go together.” Uncle Nine nodded. He had never been before either, but since Wang Han was there, he wasn’t worried that he and Wen Cai would make a fool of themselves at a Western-style restaurant. He could also take Wen Cai along to broaden his horizons.
………
In the morning, Wang Han and Wen Cai followed Uncle Jiu to the only Western restaurant in town.
"Have you made a reservation?" Upon entering the restaurant, a waiter in a black suit politely asked the three of them.
"No." Uncle Nine shook his head.
Before Uncle Nine could continue, Wen Cai said, "Why didn't Ren Fa make a reservation for us?"
"Mr. Ren, please follow me." Upon hearing this, the waiter quickly ushered the three upstairs. They went directly to the table of an elderly man dressed in a white robe. "This way, please."
When Mr. Ren saw Uncle Nine and his two companions arrive, he quickly stood up and greeted them, saying, "Hello, Uncle Nine, hello, Mr. Wang Han, please have a seat."
"Master Ren." Wang Han and Uncle Jiu greeted him politely. Uncle Jiu said to Wen Cai, "Quickly call him Master Ren."
"Master Ren," Wencai called out quickly.
The group sat down together.
After sitting down, Uncle Jiu asked familiarly, "I heard your daughter came back from the provincial capital. Why didn't you invite her to come with you?"
Master Ren said with a smile, "This girl just learned how to do makeup, and as soon as she came back, she went around teaching people."
"You look like a steamed bun, your daughter can't be any prettier either," Wen Cai muttered under his breath, looking at Master Ren's appearance and physique.
“That’s not necessarily true,” Wang Han whispered to Wen Cai. “When choosing a wife, it’s not just about looks; you also have to consider her financial standing. Master Ren’s wealth is a testament to that.”
