Gold Mountain, Papal Palace. (I can't write country names or place names, so this is just something random; everyone can understand it.)
In the main hall of the Papal Palace, fifteen people sat around a twelve-meter-long conference table. At the head of the table sat the Pope, a white-robed, white-haired man with a benevolent face. To his left was a saintess of the Papacy, and to his right was the head of the Inquisition, dressed in black religious robes. Below them, twelve cardinals of the Papacy sat on either side.
“Your Holiness,” a cardinal reported to the Pope, “In the past year, those heretics and dark, filthy creatures have been very active. This time, they actually tried to stop us from spreading the light of God in China. They not only secretly killed a large number of our missionaries, but also burned down many churches in China. This has almost wiped out our efforts in China over the past hundred years, and we have lost a large number of believers.”
Another cardinal angrily retorted, "What's most hateful is that those heretics and dark creatures actually demolished the former church and built public toilets, calling it a public service activity, emphasizing participation. This is blatant provocation, insult, disregard for God's existence, and distortion of God's glory."
“Your Holiness, the heretics and dark creatures have forgotten the days when they were treated like rats in the street,” another cardinal said angrily. “Your Holiness, let us send them back to the shadows once more.”
"Your Majesty the Pope..."
"Your Majesty the Pope..."
"Silence." The Pope raised his hand, silencing the cardinals. "Don't let your emotions control your actions and thoughts; that will only push us into the abyss."
“But Your Holiness, are we to allow those heretics and dark creatures to defile our Holy See and God like this?” a cardinal said unwillingly, while the other cardinals looked at the Pope expectantly.
The Pope spoke up, "Don't you find it strange that werewolves and vampires can coexist peacefully?"
"It's not surprising that vampires and werewolves have joined forces. After all, they can only hide in the shadows when facing our Holy See, so it's normal for them to unite against us," said a cardinal.
The Pope continued, "Why did they target China when they were targeting the Papacy? You must know that the strength of China's cultivation world is not to be underestimated. Two hundred years ago, China was the strongest country in the world, both in terms of cultivation and national strength."
“The Vatican is powerful, so they dare not confront us directly. Therefore, they can only run to China, where our Vatican is relatively weak.” Another cardinal continued, “China was the strongest country, but that was two hundred years ago, not now. China is now weak.”
Upon hearing this, the Pope shook his head and said, "You underestimate China. Although China began to weaken two hundred years ago, its foundation spans thousands of years, and the waters run deep within it. The power dynamics are intricate and complex. There are countless hidden experts in China. Although China has been weak for two hundred years, the powerful forces hidden within it are still not to be underestimated. Otherwise, our Holy See would not have remained weak in China until now, spending a full one or two hundred years to establish a meager presence."
A cardinal asked, puzzled, "Your Holiness, if China truly harbors powerful forces hidden in the shadows, as you say, then why has China fallen into such a weak state?"
"There are many cultivation forces in China, just like the warlords that are everywhere," the Pope said. "However, the relationships between these forces are also like those warlords, with severe internal strife. But I don't quite understand why most of the forces in China don't take action; I only know that it seems to be related to the immortals they worship."
The cardinals were even more puzzled.
“Your Holiness, fellow bishops,” the head of the Inquisition interrupted the cardinals. “We are not discussing the weakness of China now, but how to fight back against those heretics and dark creatures.”
“Of course we won’t let them go,” the Pope said, shaking his head. “But they all seem to have submitted to a mysterious and powerful figure.”
"Do you know who that mysterious person is?" the head of the Inquisition asked.
The Pope said, "I don't know. The only information I have is that the mysterious man is very strong, so strong that the heretics and dark creatures who have submitted to him tremble with fear at the mere mention of his name. Those heretics and evil creatures all call him their master."
Upon hearing this, the head of the Inquisition frowned deeply. "Just mentioning it makes me tremble with fear. That mysterious and powerful figure is a formidable individual, and extremely evil as well."
The other cardinals and saints were astonished by these words. The Pope had actually made such a judgment about heretics who embodied evil.
“That’s right.” The Pope nodded. “So before we deal with them, we need to gather enough intelligence, otherwise we will suffer a great loss.”
A mournful sound, like the whistle of a warship, suddenly echoed outside the Papal Palace.
"Why are there warships outside the Papal Palace?" Everyone was puzzled when they heard the sound. The Papal Palace is not located in a coastal area, and there is no railway connecting it to the area. How could there be the sound of warships sounding their horns?
"Boom..." A huge muffled sound suddenly rang out, like a meteorite hitting the ground, and even the earth trembled violently.
"Naval cannons?" The Pope stood up solemnly and quickly walked to the window.
Outside the Papal Palace, a colossal black beast, as large as a mountain, struggled to emerge from a massive spatial rift. Resembling a wolf, it possessed two enormous heads, its size comparable to a nearby mountain a thousand meters high. Clearly, the deafening roar, like the horn of a warship, had come from this gigantic two-headed wolf, and the tremors were caused by its emergence from the spatial rift and its stomping of the earth.
"What kind of monster is this?!" Not only the Pope, but also the cardinals who followed, the head of the Inquisition, and the Holy Maidens of the Holy See all saw this terrifying creature, comparable to a mountain. A feeling of powerlessness instantly filled their hearts; this was no longer something they, still within the realm of ordinary humans, could handle.

"Destroy this place, don't miss a single one." In the sky above the giant wolf's head, a man in black armor coldly watched the fleeing crowd below and gave the giant wolf his order.
Wang Han has given this giant wolf an invisibility shield, so even the Heavenly Dao cannot detect its existence.
"Woo..." Upon receiving its master's command, the giant wolf's two heads simultaneously let out excited roars. Green poisonous gas flowed from its mouths like a waterfall, and anyone enveloped by the gas was corroded into bones and eventually turned into pools of poisonous water.
