Chapter 661 Serving the Dish: Unique Monsters

Just as Wang Han had suspected, there wasn't a single Chinese chef in the kitchen of this restaurant that advertised itself as serving Chinese cuisine. After the waiter told them that a Chinese person wanted authentic Chinese food, all the chefs in the kitchen were in a bind. None of them could actually cook authentic Chinese food; the few Chinese chefs who could had all been fired for some reason, and quite some time ago.

"Let's give it a try! Hopefully, there won't be too much of a difference." Ten minutes later, the head chef, still unable to come up with a solution, could only look at the chefs who were completely helpless and say with a headache.

Moreover, the Chinese chefs they had previously hired had a habit of keeping their secrets to themselves, and the dishes they made were mostly tailored to the local tastes. They hadn't actually cooked authentic Chinese dishes many times, and those Chinese chefs hadn't taught them the most authentic cooking methods at all.

Just as the head chef was about to try and see if he could fool the guests, a small bowl-sized, green, viscous liquid, resembling snot, suddenly fell from the ventilation pipe above the stove.

"What is this?" Upon seeing this, the head chef was stunned, but before he could do anything or test the waters, the viscous liquid that had fallen on the stove splashed onto his face.

"Ah..." Terrified screams echoed through the kitchen. The head chef, his face splattered with a thick, green liquid, screamed in agony, frantically scratching at his face, trying to wipe the viscous liquid off. One after another, pustules on his face were rapidly swelling and bursting, and from the bursting pustules flowed the same thick, green liquid. Even his body and hands were covered in pustules.

"Aaaaaah...!" Seeing the head chef's miserable state and hearing his heart-wrenching screams of pain, the other chefs in the kitchen turned pale with fright and screamed in terror. Some chefs even ran out of the kitchen as fast as they could.

"Pfft pfft pfft...!" Before the chefs could run out of the kitchen, colorful liquids began to drip from the gaps in the kitchen's ventilation ducts and from the ceiling, dripping onto the chefs, the floor, and the stove.

"Ahhh...!" The screams grew louder and louder in the kitchen.

"?" Hearing the increasingly loud, numerous, and painful screams coming from the kitchen, the waiters and guests all stared at the kitchen door, wondering what was happening inside. Some guests were so frightened by the screams that they turned pale and hurriedly got up to leave.

With a loud "Bang...!", the kitchen door, along with its frame, was smashed open and flew out under the watchful eyes of the guests and waiters. A tall, ugly monster, about 2.5 meters tall and covered in green pus, charged out of the kitchen. Its zombie-like eyes dangled from their sockets, and its body looked swollen as if it had been soaked in pus, with pus-filled blisters all over its body.

"Hehehe...!" The monster uttered a sound like that of a dying man.

"Oh my god!"

"It's a monster!"

People were terrified when they saw the monster rushing out of the kitchen. The guests and waiters who had left earlier scrambled to escape the restaurant.

"Bang bang bang..." The sound of walls collapsing rang out one after another. Six more monsters with colorful bodies, resembling zombies and mud monsters, crashed through the kitchen wall and rushed out. The entire kitchen wall collapsed, and people were finally able to see the scene inside the kitchen. Behind these monsters, there were seven or eight more colorful monsters rushing out of the kitchen, each one extremely disgusting.

"Roar...!" These monsters charged out, roaring like mad bulls as they charged at the fleeing crowd, leaving puddles of pus on the ground. They could send people flying with a wave of their hands, and a single scratch from their hands would tear open huge wounds. Anyone scratched, bitten, or even touched by them would quickly be infected by their virus, their bodies oozing pus, collapsing in agony, struggling and screaming. Before long, those who were scratched or even touched by the virus would turn into the same monsters.

The panic, chaos, and screams downstairs naturally attracted the attention of people on the second floor.

"Mr. Wang Han, Mayumi, there might be danger outside. You two stay in the private room and don't come out." As members of the Victory Team, who are dedicated to maintaining peace, Daigo and the others also noticed something was wrong. These screams were no joke. They told Wang Han and Mayumi, then drew their pistols and rushed out of the private room, heading downstairs, leaving only Wang Han and Mayumi sitting there.

'These viruses are surprisingly infectious! It's best to control them!'

"Mayumi, don't come out." After Daigo and the others rushed out of the private room, Wang Han, who was fully aware of the situation below, thought to himself, got up, grabbed his knife bag, and jumped out of the window, leaving Mayumi sitting in the private room, bewildered.

On the other side, Daigo and the others who rushed downstairs finally saw the culprits who caused the chaos in the lobby on the first floor: more than a dozen terrifying and disgusting monsters, as well as the guests who were gradually turning into disgusting monsters.

"What kind of monster is this?"

"A monster?"

"How can this be so disgusting?"

Seeing the chaos in the hall and hearing the screams and cries, Daigo and the others stared wide-eyed in disbelief at the scene, a chilling aura rising from their heads.

"What should we do?" Zong Fang asked, somewhat bewildered by the situation.
