Chapter 20 Thanks to Sister Song's help
After all these years, Sun Jiaojiao and her gang are still only playing the same despicable tricks of bullying children in schools.
"Give me the phone!" Li Lu lunged at Tang Ran.
She was so focused on grabbing the phone that she completely forgot she was still holding something in her hand.
After letting go, the glass bottle fell to the ground and spilled out.
A foul stench of sewage garbage filled the room.
"ah!"
Li Lu screamed and took a few steps back, but the distance she retreated was far less than the area where the liquid splashed, and her skirt and shoes were covered with a lot of yellow liquid.
"Ugh! Ugh!"
She frantically tugged at her skirt, trying to wipe herself, but felt nauseous and kept vomiting.
"Tsk tsk." Tang Ran was amused by Li Lu's stupidity. "Luckily, the recording was still on, otherwise we would have missed such a wonderful moment."
Tang Ran clicked to save the video, put away her phone, and looked at Li Lu with her arms crossed.
"What do you think of this news headline: 'The third daughter of Fenghuang Foods, feeling neglected by her family, retaliates against society by deliberately splashing an unidentified liquid on someone to vent her anger.'"
She tilted her head and thought for a moment, then asked knowingly, "Do you think this message will go viral if it's posted online?"
Li Lu's expression changed. "What do you want?"
Having been a sycophantic sister for so many years, Li Lu was already used to these methods of threatening and suppressing people, so how could she not understand Tang Ran's meaning?
Tang Ran didn't send the video out directly, which clearly meant she wanted to blackmail me.
Li Lu gritted her teeth and glared at Tang Ran with hatred.
"Not too stupid, huh? As for the matter," Tang Ran shrugged, her tone nonchalant. "I haven't figured it out yet."
Li Lu is a good piece, but it's too early to use her now, and Tang Ran doesn't believe she will definitely listen to her.
"Are you kidding me?"
Li Lu couldn't guess what she was thinking, and only assumed that Tang Ran was just messing with her.
Is this necessary?
Tang Ran's gaze swept lightly over her.
The look in his eyes clearly meant that he had just praised him, and now he had acted foolishly again.
Having shot herself in the foot, and constantly being looked down upon by Tang Ran, Li Lu felt utterly disgusted.
"Don't worry, I won't release the video before then."
After Tang Ran finished speaking, she raised her chin towards the door, indicating that she could leave.
The medicine had a strong smell; she could smell it from more than a meter away. If she stayed any longer, the smell would have reached Song Zhixu's area.
Tang Ran already felt a little embarrassed that she had to make Song Zhixu hide along with her in order to deal with Li Lu, and she would feel even more guilty if she made him smell bad as well.
Having achieved her goal, she was too lazy to argue with Li Lu anymore.
Li Lu didn't want to leave like this.
It goes without saying that Tang Ran and Sun Jiaojiao don't get along, and it's obvious what Tang Ran is planning to do with this leverage.
She glanced at Tang Ran with a sullen face, clenched her fists, and walked out unwillingly.
Watching her leave, Tang Ran turned back, thinking of opening the window next to the cubicle to let in some fresh air.
Just as she reached the window, Li Lu suddenly turned back, grabbed a vase from the dressing table, and smashed it over Tang Ran's head.
There were no security cameras in the house. After she snatched Tang Ran's phone and deleted the video, she turned around and said that Tang Ran deliberately threw dirty things at her, and that she was so scared that she accidentally hurt Tang Ran with the vase.
The carpet at the Lizhi Hotel was so thick that by the time Tang Ran noticed Li Lu's movements and turned around, Li Lu had already run to her side.
Tang Ran quickly moved to the side.
She dodged too hastily, tripping over her left leg with her right, twisting her right ankle and staggering. Luckily, she managed to grab the wall in time to avoid falling.
Li Lu reacted quickly; seeing that she dodged, she immediately changed direction and continued to hit her.
Before Tang Ran could even stand up straight, she saw that the vase in Li Lu's hand was almost touching her forehead.
With no way to avoid it, I instinctively raised my hand to block, inwardly cursing myself for being too careless.
Anyone who's willing to be a dog for that lunatic Sun Jiaojiao, how normal can their brain be?
"ah!"
The pain Tang Ran expected didn't come; instead, she heard Li Lu cry out in pain.
While she was distracted, Song Zhixu appeared in front of her without her noticing and swiftly grabbed Li Lu's wrist as it was about to fall.
Song Zhixu stared at Li Lu with a stern face and sharp eyes, a look Tang Ran had never seen before.
Suddenly unable to move her hand, Li Lu was stunned for a moment, then saw a slender and beautiful hand reach out and take the vase from her hand.
Li Lu reacted a beat late and tried to struggle, but she couldn't break free after a couple of attempts, and her wrist was instead gripped even tighter.
The force was so great that it felt like it was going to break her hand.
She cried out in pain and turned around in terror, trying to see who the hand belonged to. Before she could even see the person's face, her arm was twisted behind her back.
With a dull thud, Li Lu's arm dislocated.
"ah!"
Another scream rang out, and Li Lu doubled over in pain.
He nimbly grasped Li Lu's wrist, elegantly took the vase, and then deftly grabbed her hand from behind—the series of movements was clean and efficient.
Tang Ran stared wide-eyed at the sight.
So cool!
It's such a contrast to her usual gentle and sweet demeanor!
Song Zhixu pushed Li Lu away.
She wasn't very strong, but Li Lu was caught off guard and was pushed away unexpectedly, staggering two steps before falling to her knees.
The dislocated arm was out of control, stuck straight on the ground, and another wave of excruciating pain hit.
Song Zhixu withdrew his gaze expressionlessly.
She turned to look at Tang Ran, her expression softening slightly. "Are you injured?"
"No, no, she didn't hit me." Tang Ran waved her hand, thanking her with lingering fear, "It's all thanks to Sister Song's help."
If Song Zhixu hadn't stopped her, her head would have been smashed open by now.
Song Zhixu's gaze fell on her feet, and he asked softly, "Are your feet alright?"
Tang Ran's ankles were a little red.
"ah?"
Only after being reminded did Tang Ran realize that she had twisted her right ankle when she dodged Li Lu's first blow.
Tang Ran lifted her foot and turned it; it hurt a little, but it wasn't serious.
"Did you twist it?" Song Zhixu asked.
She noticed Tang Ran frown slightly when she turned her ankle.
Tang Ran waved her hand casually, her tone nonchalant, "It was just a slight twist, nothing serious."
If this injury had happened to her in the past, Tang Ran might have cried out for a long time, but after experiencing those injuries in her previous life, she was no longer so delicate and pretentious.
Song Zhixu didn't say anything, but his gaze lingered on Tang Ran's face without leaving a trace.
If she remembered correctly, six months ago, Tang Ran was someone who would cling to Tang Wanru and act coquettishly for a while after tripping on the stairs.
Why can a person's personality change so much in such a short period of time?
Was it also because of Song Wuqi? Just like when she met her drunk and crying at the bar?
"Nothing's wrong."
Seeing that Song Zhixu didn't speak, Tang Ran thought she didn't believe her, so she said something else.
"Um."
Song Zhixu nodded and looked at Li Lu, who was still on the ground groaning and holding her hand. "Should we call the police?"
Li Lu's actions just now constituted intentional harm, and if Tang Ran wanted to, she could teach Li Lu a lesson she would never forget.
