Chapter 4 Breakup
Hearing that it was his grandmother who made it, Chu Yunqi felt better. He sat back down and asked, "Did you go see her?"
Zou Yuhua is Chu Yunqi's biological grandmother, and her family also had a good relationship with his grandfather Chu Jun. They naturally developed feelings for each other when they grew up. In the 1960s, they went to the battlefield together, and Zou Yuhua's comrade-in-arms unfortunately died to protect her.

Zhou Jingzhan has obsessive-compulsive disorder. He can overcome it at work, but in real life he cannot tolerate physical contact with others. I have never heard of him inviting anyone to his home.
He had been gone for seven years, yet he was still questioning her with such confidence. Zhou Jingzhan was furious and said angrily, "My boyfriend."

There was a loud bang as he closed the door.

The two of them sat facing each other seriously.
After pondering for a while, Zhou Jingzhan finally spoke: "I told you before that I had a boyfriend who I had been dating for many years...an ex-boyfriend. Actually, that person was Chu Yunqi."
Tao Mo's expression froze, and it took him a while to understand what Zhou Jingzhan meant: "Are you breaking up with me?"

After returning home, Chu Yunqi was so angry that he threw himself into bed and went to sleep. However, he couldn't fall asleep because he was thinking about something.
In the evening, Zhang Fang called again and came back to life: "I told Zhou Jingzhan about the dinner this morning, but he kept delaying. Why don't I just tell him you're back?"
Chu Yunqi felt hopeless: "I went to the hospital today and met him."

The next day, Chu Yun woke up before six o'clock. He lay on the bed and stared at the ceiling in a daze, with no intention of going to work on time.
Zhou Jingzhan continued to work diligently. When he found out Chu Yunqi hadn't shown up, he became restless. After catching Ji Hong, he immediately took advantage of him and said, "Call Chu Yunqi and ask him why he didn't come to work."
Department director, Dean Su, has multiple responsibilities and cannot take care of cardiothoracic surgery, so most of the director's trivial matters fall on Zhou Jingzhan, the young and energetic deputy director.
It is well known that Zhou Jingzhan is a serious and cold-blooded person. There has never been a case of him absent from work without asking for leave in the department.
So Ji Hong didn't think much about it. He dialed the number Zhou Jingzhan gave him. The first call was hung up. The second time he called, Chu Yunqi's impatient voice came over: "Who is this?"
Ji Hong's voice was very flattering: "Professor Chu, it's me, Xiao Ji. It's almost time and you haven't come yet. Director Zhou asked me to ask if something happened."
"Pa——" Ji Hong was hit on the head by Zhou Jingzhan with a folder.
Ji Hong was about to shout, but Zhou Jingzhan gave him a look and he replied with an apologetic smile, "Professor Chu, the department is quite busy. If you don't have anything else to do, could you please come to work?"
Although Chu Yunqi was in trouble, he wouldn't do anything to ruin someone's marriage. Now that he knew Tao Mo was there, he didn't focus on Zhou Jingzhan. He didn't care much about Director Zhou's words and just replied lazily: "Then I'll be there later."
After hanging up the phone, Ji Hong asked awkwardly, "Director Zhou, did you have a fight with Professor Chu?"
Zhou Jingzhan glanced at him, but Ji Hong avoided his gaze: "It's okay, it's okay. I was talking too much. I'm going to work."
The late time Chu Yunqi mentioned was indeed quite late. It was already lunch time when he arrived at the hospital.
He ran into Zhang Fang before he even entered the hospital gate. Zhang Fang looked at his watch, then at his clothes: "Hey, you just got here?"

Chu Yunqi put down his chopsticks and sighed: "Why should I quarrel with him? He already has a boyfriend."
Zhang Fang was naturally aware of Tao Mo's existence. "He already has a boyfriend, so what's the problem? You're not a person of high moral character, so just snatch him away. Don't you have this little confidence?"

Zhang Fang's phone rang. After hanging up, Zhang Fang stood up in a hurry and said, "Something happened at the hospital. I have to leave first. Take your time eating."
