Chapter 105 He Can't Escape the Thunder in This Life

Lei Ting came to see An Ning one last time. He saw that An Ning would leave after being hypnotized. An Yang asked him to cure that epilepsy patient.

Lei Ting would prepare medicine for her, and An Yang took Lei Ting to hide in the closet in his room.

When the An family entered, they noticed that Lei Ting seemed to have aged a lot in a short time. His once straight back had become hunched, his voice was no longer as magnetic as before, and his face looked haggard. If you didn't look closely, you might mistake him for Lei Zhenyu.

An Yiyang and Han Yi breathed a sigh of relief, thinking that if Lei Ting wouldn't bother them anymore, An Ning would finally have a peaceful life.

An Yang invited Lei Ting into the closet in his room, where Lei Ting could see An Ning through the gap. As he waited for An Ning to arrive, Lei Ting wiped away the tears welling up in his eyes again and again. These were the last few glimpses he could see, and he couldn't let the tears block his view.

Anning calmed down considerably inside the room. She looked at the ring on her hand, touching it repeatedly. She closed her eyes and wept, the teardrops falling onto the wounds on her body. The cool, minty sensation on her skin was stimulated, giving off a refreshing feeling.

The hypnotist arrived, and An Yang invited him in. He then briefly explained An Ning's situation. The hypnotist had no objections and immediately went to An Yang's room to prepare the props. An Yang then opened the door to An Ning's room.

An Yang: "Hey sis... come to my room and let a hypnotist take a look at you! Let's forget about Lei Ting!"

When An Yang told her to forget Lei Ting, An Ning didn't say anything. She just stood up and went to An Yang's bed.

The hypnotist told An Ning to relax and take deep breaths, which An Ning did. The rest of the An family members went out. An Yang glanced at the wardrobe, thinking that nothing should happen.

Lei Ting calmly looked at An Ning lying there, who seemed to be asleep, so peaceful. Lei Ting wanted An Ning to remain peaceful for the rest of her life, gritting his teeth and daring not to make a sound.

The hypnotist used various props to slowly open Anning's eyes. Anning complied.

Hypnotist: "Peace, peace, listen to my guidance, look..."

As the hypnotist's voice entered her mind, Anning felt drowsy again.

It was this feeling that made him forget Lei Ting. As long as he closed his eyes and woke up again, he would forget Lei Ting, forget everything about him, forget that Lei Ting even existed in the world. Lei Ting said goodbye to An Ning in his heart.

Just when the hypnotist thought he was about to succeed, Anning suddenly opened her eyes the instant she closed them, and viciously grabbed a book from beside the bed and hurled it at the hypnotist.

The hypnotist was stunned, and the props in his hands fell to the ground. An Ning glared at him fiercely.

Hypnotist: "What do you mean..."

An Ning: "It's all your fault, it's all your fault that made me forget Lei Ting, it's all your fault, get out of here, it's all your fault that made me forget Lei Ting, get out of here. Get out."

An Ning grabbed a baseball bat and hit the hypnotist. Caught off guard, the hypnotist retreated and ran out the door, making sure to close it behind him so An Ning wouldn't chase after him. An Yang and the others were waiting in the living room.

Anyang: "It's done so quickly!"

Hypnotist: "Anning didn't want to... she knocked me out."

Han Yi: "Huh? Why is she crying and shouting like she doesn't want to? She wasn't resisting just now!"

An Yang: "Yeah, sis..."

An Ning: "Shut up! Don't let the hypnotist come here again. Tell him to get out... get out..."

Anning called out from upstairs, and the hypnotist looked troubled. He'd encountered many patients who weren't mentally prepared, but this was the first time he'd seen someone get hit with a baseball bat. However, he could understand; Anning's red, swollen eyes were heartbreaking to see.

An Yiyang: "I'm so sorry! We didn't discuss it with the child properly. An Yang, quickly settle the bill with the hypnotist. Please don't take offense; we might need you again in the future."

Hypnotist: "We'll have the opportunity to work together again."

An Yang quickly paid the hypnotist. The hypnotist was very polite, nodded, took his things, and left. The An family didn't know what to do. An Ning was crying and smashing things upstairs and wouldn't let them come up. No one dared to go in and persuade her.

Lei Ting was surprised by this scene. An Ning didn't want to forget him and even hit and complained to the hypnotist. Lei Ting's heart was pounding. He wanted to come out, but he was afraid that An Ning didn't want to see him.

Anning threw a few ornaments onto the cabinet. Leiting stared intently at Anning. As long as Anning called him and asked her to appear, Leiting would immediately rush out. But now Anning was hitting and smashing things, cursing at Leiting. Leiting dared not move, not daring to move an inch.

An Ning: "Waaah, Thunder, you bastard..."

Anning was exhausted from smashing things and collapsed to the ground crying. She excitedly pounded the carpet and shouted, her hands aching from the impact, and her whole body ached.

When Lei Ting applied the medicine to her in the morning, she felt very comfortable in her half-asleep state and also liked the way Lei Ting was concerned about her.

She was fascinated by everything Lei Ting had done for her, but the pain made An Ning feel conflicted. An Ning wanted to push Lei Ting away, yet she also wanted to hold onto him.

At this moment, An Ning burst into tears, as if to vent all her grievances. Before her lay a scene of utter chaos, countless fragments seemingly from a dream.

In the illusion, Lei Ting was indifferent, and An Ning wished he could become as affectionate and focused as he was in reality.

Lei Ting watched all this from inside the cabinet. An Ning's trembling body left all sorts of scars in his heart.

Lei Ting wanted to lay his heart bare for An Ning to see, but he was afraid that An Ning would push him away. Lei Ting could only wait for An Ning to vent her emotions, and then things would take a turn for the better.

Anning: "You bastard, where are you? Leiting, where are you... Hold me... Hold me..."

After venting her emotions, Anning collapsed to the ground, hugging herself and muttering to herself. She hoped that Leiting would appear and hug her, and that she would hold him tightly and make up for the hugs she had missed over the past six months.

When the hypnotist entered the room, Anning really wanted to hit him, to drive him away, to get rid of this guy who made her forget Leiting.
