"To settle things once and for all?" Lin Mo's hand trembled slightly as he subconsciously gripped the longsword that had accompanied him through countless days and nights, his eyes flashing with a resolute light. "Is it to settle things once and for all?"
Seeing this, Pu Hang's lips curled into a playful smile. He waved his hand and said, "Fighting? That's a misunderstanding. My master wants to see you and specifically sent me here to wait for you!"
"Your master?" Lin Mo asked, puzzled.
“Yes, the true master!” Pu Hang straightened up and gestured for Lin Mo to come in. “Come in, Lin Mo, who fears neither heaven nor earth!”
Although he didn't know what the other party was up to, Lin Mo took a deep breath and walked over.
But the moment he stepped into the room, something incredible happened.
A blinding white light ripped through the darkness like lightning, instantly engulfing Lin Mo's vision. He instinctively raised his hand to shield his eyes, feeling that the light was even more dazzling than the midday sun, making it impossible to look directly at it.
Just as Lin Mo's eyes were about to be stung, a cold and mechanical voice suddenly rang in his ears.
"Let's experience a truly advanced civilization."
Immediately afterward, the blinding white light seemed to be swallowed up by some mysterious force and vanished instantly. Lin Mo blinked, trying to adjust to this sudden change. When he opened his eyes again, the scene before him had undergone a complete transformation.
He found himself in an extremely bizarre room. The layout of the room was completely different from anything he had seen before, exuding an indescribable sense of mystery.
Even more bizarrely, two tall bodies, a man and a woman, were suspended in the room, their figures seemingly being pulled by some force, floating silently in the air.
Lin Mo was startled and blurted out, "Where is this place?"
"This is the House of the World." The mechanical voice rang out again, carrying an indescribable sense of majesty and mystery.
"The House of the World?"
Before Lin Mo could react, a large gash was cut open in the abdomen of the woman's body in the room, and several strange human faces appeared on the wound.
"This..." Lin Mo was dumbfounded, "You are one of those so-called supreme gods?"
"God is just a title!" A gentle voice echoed through the room. "I prefer to call myself a higher civilization!"
Upon closer inspection, Lin Mo realized that the voices were coming from those strange human faces!
"Where is my wife?" Lin Mo didn't want to waste any more words with this strange monster. "Where is she?"
"You're still thinking about your wife at a time like this?" the man asked, "and aren't you curious about why you're here, and why I want to see you?"
"Not curious!" Lin Mo shook his head.
“Alas, why are inferior civilizations always so impatient!” the face continued. “Why do they only care about their own insignificant immediate interests? Why do people always stop sacrificing the survival of others?”
Why is there such a huge gap between the poor and the rich in the world?
That's just how the world is, that's how existence is.
"What nonsense are you talking about!" Lin Mo frowned.
"Because this is of utmost importance," the voice said. "I will tell you why you were summoned here, why there are transmigrators, and why there are so many gods in your world."
And the entire life system!!!
"I don't want to know anything, where is my wife!" Lin Mo interrupted him.
“Alas, humans are indeed the most arrogant beings.” One of the faces sighed. “You have always thought you have a special status, but that is not the case.”
From our perspective, you are so insignificant, no different from ants.
Even if humanity were to perish, it would be nothing more than a trivial matter in the vast ecosystem of life.
As children, you must have once sprayed water on ants with a hose, killing thousands of them. You thought you were worlds apart from ants.
But before higher beings, you are no different from ants.
"Shut up!" Lin Mo yelled. "Don't spout nonsense!"
"Ha, your impatient nature!" The voice, tinged with a hint of mockery, echoed leisurely in the room. "Since you are so eager to reunite with your wife, I will grant your wish."
As the words fell, another enormous body in the room seemed to be torn apart by an invisible force, gradually separating, revealing a strange and mysterious aura amidst the blood and gore.
In a short while, the scattered flesh and blood began to slowly wriggle, as if they had come to life, intertwining and merging together, eventually coalescing into a familiar figure.
The figure gradually came into focus, and it was none other than his long-awaited wife. She appeared in the room, a hint of confusion in her eyes, and softly asked, "Where is this?"
That sound...
It's Zhao Zhilan!
"It's you?" Lin Mo asked in surprise.
"Lin Mo?" Zhao Zhilan shook her head. "What's wrong? Wasn't I dead?" she asked, puzzled.
"Wait a minute," Lin Mo suddenly froze, "Something's not right, something's very wrong!"
The Zhao Zhilan in front of me was something this monster could conjure up with a mere gesture!
"No, you are not Zhao Zhilan!" Lin Mo shouted. "Don't play these tricks on me. This is just a copy you created!"
At this moment, Lin Mo realized that the guy in front of him was the god Pu Hang had mentioned, so naturally he would use his divine power to create something similar to the system.
"What's the difference?" the voice continued. "She has the same abilities as anyone you know: she can sleep with you, marry you, and have children for you. Not only that, she also has all of Zhao Zhilan's memories."
