If the audience only saw this, they would actually be confused.
Going home is indeed a common theme in Spring Festival advertisements.
But the image of the sponsor should also appear in the commercial, otherwise how would the audience know who the advertisement is for?
When the audience thought that the entire commercial was over after showing the shots of the four people, they did not expect that there was something else behind it.
The camera returned to Su Yin again. When she raised her head and twisted her stiff neck with her hands, she realized that it was already late at night.
However, both her office and the building across the street were still brightly lit. She wasn't an exception, so she shouldn't be so hypocritical.
Su Yin packed up her things, left the office with her bag, and waved to her colleagues who were still working hard.
The subway had stopped running at this time, so Su Yin had to take a taxi back to the small house she rented.
It was an ordinary apartment building, and the environment wasn't particularly good, but it was enough to serve as a home for a migrant worker like her.
The cold wind blew past her cheek, and Su Yin subconsciously touched her forehead, which seemed to be a little hot.
She frowned. She still had two days of work to do and couldn't ask for leave. She rummaged through the boxes and found a bag of cold medicine and drank it.
However, what Su Yin did not expect was that this cold would be so severe and lingering.
She felt dizzy until she boarded the plane and returned to her hometown.
Ye Kongqing arrived at the airport early to pick up her daughter. She looked left and right, and every time she saw a young girl, she would tiptoe to take a look, not suppressing her excitement at all.
When she saw Su Yin, Ye Kongqing's originally happy expression froze in an instant. The joy gradually faded from her face, and in the end, only Ye Kongqing was left anxiously hugging Su Yin and placing her hand on her burning forehead.
"Why do you have a fever? You didn't even tell me!"
"Mom." Su Yin relaxed instantly. She hugged her mother and smelled her scent, which made her feel extremely at ease. It was like she was back in her childhood. Whenever she was sick, as long as her mother was by her side, she would recover quickly. "I just want to sleep for a while, leaning on you."
"Go to sleep." Ye Kongqing stopped talking and just looked at his daughter's face with pity.
When Su Yin woke up, she found herself lying on her bed at home, and her physical discomfort had improved a lot.
After taking a look at her, her mother brought a bowl of steaming red soup to her mouth and said, "I made cola ginger soup for you. Drink some and you'll feel better."
Su Yin hummed, and drank it obediently, licking the corner of her mouth: "So sweet, so delicious!"
Ye Kongqing smiled and said, "Of course it tastes better if it's made with Pepsi."
The camera naturally transitions to another environment through the Pepsi on the table.
It was a home that looked somewhat impoverished. A middle-aged man with white hair was standing in front of a portrait, muttering to himself:
"Ruirui is coming home today, you'll be able to see her soon, aren't you happy?" The man sighed, "She's coming back by train again this time. She's just like me, stingy! But she bought a sleeper berth, so it shouldn't be that uncomfortable. She's working in Shanghai, and she's doing quite well. She was promoted to store manager a while ago."
The man talked on and on for a long time, and only left after his eyes were slightly red and his mouth was a little dry.
He took a chair, sat at the door and looked outside.
The man sat from noon to sunset, and then until it was dark. He was like a sculpture and hardly moved.
Just when the audience thought he had become a wooden man, the man suddenly stood up.
He heard footsteps outside the yard.
He took a flashlight and ran out. When he saw Wang Xingrui at the door, his face lit up with joy.
"I'm back, a little earlier than last time!" Her father immediately took the large and small bags from Wang Xingrui's hands and taught her with a smile: "Why do you bring so many things? It's not like I don't have money to buy them! I save all the money you give me!"
"I know," Wang Xingrui knew her father's duplicity long ago, so she didn't care. "I bought this for myself, so you don't have anything here!"
"How come there's no more!" The father was unhappy and quickly pulled Wang Xingrui forward: "I bought everything you like!"
"Really?" Wang Xingrui's eyes lit up: "Let me see, last time you..."
Walking into the living room, she suddenly fell silent after seeing her mother's portrait. She stood there and bowed before saying with a smile, "Mom, I'm going home for the New Year!"
My father heated up all the dishes that had been prepared in the kitchen before bringing them to the table.
Then he took out a large bottle of Pepsi from the cabinet:
"You've loved drinking this since you were little, and today I'll let you drink as much as you want!"
"Hehe," Wang Xingrui took a deep breath. They were all her favorite dishes. "Thank you, Dad. I'm so happy!"
"What are you thanking me for?" My father blushed and muttered softly, "As long as you come back often, I'll be satisfied."
Wang Xingrui poured herself a full cup of Coke, clinked glasses with her father, and drank it all in one gulp with a smile on her face.
The camera shifted to the hospital's duty room.
Lin Xuan'er had just finished an operation and sat at the table looking a little tired.
The clock above her head showed that it was already eleven o'clock in the evening, and she had not eaten anything since noon.
Besides being hungry, she also felt a little dizzy. Worried she was about to faint, she peeled a candy and popped it in her mouth to replenish her energy.
