Chapter 261 Sleeping



He carried Bai Moxuan to the bed. Bai Moxuan kicked off his little cotton slippers, climbed into the quilt, hugged his little pillow, and poked his head out.

"Uncle Ning, you go ahead with your work. Ranran can go to sleep first."

E Ning nodded, lowered her head and kissed Bai Moxuan's cheek, then got up and sat down at her desk, dimming the lamp so it would face her.

He did have something to do: to firmly remember Long Chengxiu's teachings from the daytime, organize them, write them down, and then review, reflect on, and practice them.

There was nothing he could do; he was the least talented among the cubs, although that was partly due to his race.

The Evil Beast is good at nothing but lying, much like the Mountain Oyster Clan, except it doesn't offend beasts as openly as they do.

But lying also comes at a price.

E Ning no longer remembers what his parents look like. He was too young at the time. Shortly after his birth, he and a group of brothers and sisters were left behind in the cave.

Their parents are dead, because of... a lie.

When they were on the verge of starvation, Jie Chong appeared, rescued them, and took them to the Mirage Realm, where they were able to survive.

He was just a small E's beast, but he was saved by Jie Chong, selected and nurtured by Geng Chen, and now he is guided in cultivation by Long Chengxiu, one of the strongest in the Dragon Clan.

These were all tremendous opportunities for him, and although the cultivation process was very painful, he cherished them greatly.

However, he lacked talent and comprehension, and he wasn't a powerful divine beast. All he could do was work hard.

The more you give, the more you will receive, even if it's just a little.
