Chapter 183 Crescent Moon Reflects the Courtyard 2 [Zhu Jiuyin X Bai Jue]

Then came the waiting.

With everything settled, Bai Jue breathed a sigh of relief, but was even more eager to leave the cave.

After all, it's time for Zhu Jiuyin, who's been idle, to return.

The entire cave dwelling was only free of protective formations on the surface. Knowing Bai Jue's fastidiousness, Zhu Jiuyin knew that he would not go deep underground or dig a tunnel out.

Bai Jue was also conflicted for a long time. The beast Zhu Jiuyin had set up restrictions underground, so he couldn't leave using magic. If he wanted to leave, he could only dig a tunnel.

However, compared to being tortured to death in bed by Zhu Jiuyin, he overcame his psychological trauma and buried himself in digging a hole, hoping to escape.

But when he finally managed to dig out, he was grabbed by the back of the neck and pulled out of the cave as soon as he poked his head out.

Then Bai Jue was forced to transform into human form and was thrown onto the bed again.

"No, no, Zhu Jiuyin, I was wrong, I was wrong, I'm just ready, no, no, I won't come!"

Zhu Jiuyin walked over step by step, a smile on his lips, but no smile in his eyes.

“A-Jue, you know I hate lies. Everyone who lied to me except you is dead.”

Since you promised to be my beast and stay with me forever, don't break your promise. If you do, then it won't be a lie.

But if you can't do it...

His ankle was gripped tightly, and his skin suddenly felt a chill. To his surprise, Bai Jue discovered that a red coiled snake mark was branded on the outside of his ankle.

Zhu Jiuyin had already bent down.

"A-Jue, you must remember, you belong to me."

The words, though not harsh, made Bai Jue tremble all over. His passive talent was supposed to make other beasts tremble with fear, but it was useless against Zhu Jiuyin!

Bai Jue truly regretted it.

He initially plotted against Zhu Jiuyin because he wanted to investigate the truth about the Bai Ze clan, believing himself to be omniscient and capable of making no mistakes.

He then lied to Zhu Jiuyin, and after deceiving him, he fled.

As it turned out, Zhu Jiuyin was no pushover, and Bai Jue, who was captured, witnessed the realization of the lie.

He then feigned weakness and escaped.

Fortunately, Zhu Jiuyin did not pursue them further.

In the end, however, he still fell and was forced to return. Every choice he made was a path set for him by Zhu Jiuyin, and the destination was his cave.

As a result, Bai Jue had to keep his lie, become Zhu Jiuyin's beast, bear his offspring, and stay with him forever until death.

Of course, whether or not they will part ways until death is uncertain. Given the nature of the beast Zhu Jiuyin, even as a ghost, one would still have to stay by his side.

Bai Jue regretted his actions; he shouldn't have provoked them.

But it was all too late.

The familiar entanglement returned, and he begged for mercy with tears in his eyes, but to no avail.

Zhu Jiuyin did not react at all to Bai Jue biting his arm and shoulder. He accepted whatever Bai Jue gave him, whether it was good or bad.

As long as he keeps his promise, he will be his one and only treasure.

Zhu Jiuyin chuckled and silenced Bai Jue with a kiss.

Let's walk hand in hand through this life, never to be abandoned!
