Qin Yizhi arrived just in time, and Lu Changjue was in a flurry of activity.

Watching her fleeing figure, Lu Huai stood there and chuckled softly.

She heard it and ran even faster.

"Phew—" Qin Xi ran into the room, closed the door, and breathed a sigh of relief.

Feeling that closing the door only made things more obvious, she opened it again. Then, blushing, she beckoned to Lu Huai: "Come here."

Lu Huai thought she had something to tell him, so he walked over and leaned his ear close to hers: "Hmm?"

Qin Qi gently bit her lower lip. After a moment's hesitation, she reached out and hugged Lu Huai's neck, leaving a soft, fleeting kiss on his lips.

Lu Huai in the dream was stunned.

After she finished kissing him, she ran to the bedside, sat on the inside of the bed, and pulled the blanket over her face.

Lu Huai remained motionless by the bedside for a long time. She carefully pulled the blanket down a little and secretly looked at Lu Huai.

Seeing Lu Huai still standing there in a daze, she felt a little like laughing, but then thought she shouldn't, so she hid under the covers, her shoulders shaking.

"Little girl, you've gotten bolder, haven't you? Now you even dare to tease me? Hmm?" In his dream, Lu Huai squinted slightly, his voice rising at the end. His handsome face held a half-smile as he stared at her.

Although Qin Xi was a little shy, she was still laughing so hard her stomach hurt: "Shouldn't you give me something back? I haven't done anything yet."

Lu Huai was amused by her words: "How about I give you back a little more?"

As he spoke, he approached Qin Xi.

Qin Qi quickly waved her hand: "No, no, no, no, it's not necessary!"

While she was dreaming, Qin Xi felt a warm current surging in her lower abdomen, and she immediately woke up with a start.

My stomach is really sore right now.

Qin Xi sat up and accidentally kicked the small table next to the heated couch, the noise waking Lu Huai.

Why are you sleeping there?

Qin Xi didn't answer him, but instead said something completely different: "Lu Huai, you go out first and call Bao Bao in."

Lu Huai, who had just woken up, raised an eyebrow: "Why?"

"I..." Qin Xi didn't know how to say it, "My stomach hurts."

"I want to sleep, wake me up yourself."

"Go call Bao Bao in for me, Lu Huai, hurry..." Qin Xi clutched her stomach with her left hand and gripped the blanket tightly with her right, her voice very weak. Her face seemed a little paler than before.

Seeing the fine beads of cold sweat appear on her forehead, Lu Huai realized something was wrong.

He immediately stood up and went to Qin Xi's side, a little flustered: "Qin Xi? Qin Xi, what's wrong? Is there something wrong with the snowflake pastry?"

"No, no." The approaching force was overwhelming, and Qin Xi was utterly powerless to explain.

"Let me see," Lu Huai said, reaching out to lift the blanket covering her stomach.

"Don't!"

Qin Qi shifted her position, withdrew her right hand, and tried her best to press down on the blankets. However, she was still a step too late. Moreover, Lu Huai was stronger than her, and it would be easy for him to do anything to her, even though he didn't know martial arts.

Lu Huai immediately noticed that the place where Qin Qi was sitting had been stained deep red with blood. The aura around him suddenly became very sharp, and his face no longer had that drowsy expression, but was very cold and stern.

Qin Qi leaned back on the couch and patted the pillow in frustration.

In an instant, Lu Huai dropped his act, as if his previous fierceness was just an illusion.

He made Qin Qi lie down and then covered her with a blanket. Although his movements were smooth, they still gave the impression of being somewhat flustered.

“Lu Huai…”

Just as Qin Qi was about to speak, Lu Huai extended his index finger and made a "shh" gesture to his lips.
