Xiang Fan glanced down at the console, confirming that the energy consumption was still within the expected range, and raised the corners of his mouth slightly: "Lingxiao Thirty-Six Styles, it's quite reliable."
Yu Fengyang's voice came from the communication channel, his tone full of astonishment and unwillingness: "How is it possible... How did he do it?"
Gao Mingheng and Chu Han both fell silent, seemingly still recovering from the shock of the brief moment. Their proudly high-end mecha was now paralyzed in the sandstorm, barely able to move.
Smoke and dust gradually spread as the followers in the distance finally arrived. They looked at the Zero Mech standing quietly in the center of the battlefield, along with the wreckage of three disabled mechs, and suddenly stopped in their tracks, as if firmly fixed by the sand beneath their feet.
"What...what's going on?" someone whispered.
"Zero took out three mechas in one second?" another voice trembled. "Will we also become scrap metal if we go up there?"
Xiang Fan glanced around, a faint sneer on his face. Seeing his followers hesitating, he shook his head slightly, "These guys are much less courageous than before."
Wasting no time, he quickly activated the Zero Point Mech's auxiliary module, his fingers swiftly manipulating the system interface. The psychic jammer activated, simultaneously deploying a dummy mech. Its outline was blurred, but it mimicked the Zero Point Mech's appearance and behavior.
"Interference mode is on." Xiang Fan whispered, his tone as calm as water.
Amidst the smoke and dust, the fake mecha suddenly started up, its movements rough yet realistic, rushing in the opposite direction. The followers were immediately shocked when they saw this scene.
"He's there! Chase him!" someone shouted, his tone filled with the excitement of surviving a disaster.
A group of people rushed after it, each one looking high-spirited, seemingly oblivious to what had just happened. Amidst the rolling dust, the fake mecha's silhouette gradually receded into the distance, while the real Zero Point mecha, concealed by the smoke and dust, silently slid to the other side.
Xiang Fan piloted his mech through the dunes, his movements as light as a cat. Without a second glance at the three disabled mechs, he simply dropped a brief message into the communication channel: "Sorry, my time is precious."
With these cold words, he swiftly slid from the battlefield, his sight clearly fixed on the entrance to the Chaos Realm. His figure gradually receded into the desert, leaving behind an undeniable mystery: Who was Zero, the one who struck fear into the hearts of everyone in the Bronze District?
