Chapter 20 Vomiting
"Mr. Bai, the resident who brought his electric bike in to charge downstairs has been detained. However, he has a lot of debt and only has a few thousand yuan on him. You may need to file a lawsuit in court to resolve your case."
Song Yilin also knew the resident who pushed the electric bike in downstairs. She had often heard her mother mention that he had lived alone for many years after his divorce, his child was not around, and he did not have a proper job. Even if Bai Ye sued him, he would not have the money to pay compensation. In the end, he would only go to jail, and the property management might pay some money out of humanitarian considerations.
But that amount of money is nothing compared to Bai Ye's mortgage.
Song Yilin reached out to help Bai Ye pack his things, and followed Bai Ye back to Yishi.

Xu Qingmin waited for a long time downstairs at Song Yilin's place. In the evening, a young couple walked towards him.
When get out of class ended, Song Yilin received a text message from her mother: "Xu Qingmin came to see you."
After class, she went to Bai Ye's company and walked back to her apartment complex hand in hand with him.
Xu Qingmin glared angrily at Song Yilin, his eyes blazing with fury. He gritted his teeth and said to Song Yilin, "It's only been half a month, and you already have a new love? I'm being cuckolded."
Bai Ye stepped in front of Xu Qingmin: "Young man, whether it's just one day or many days since Song Yilin broke up with you, she has the freedom to choose her own partner."

Song Yilin couldn't bear to see Xu Qingmin like this, so she pulled Bai Ye away quickly.
She wiped away her tears where Xu Qingmin couldn't see.
At home, Bai Ye poured Song Yilin a glass of water: "Was the breakup not thorough enough?"
Song Yilin nodded and then shook her head: "No, we broke up completely, but he just doesn't want to believe it."
Did he hurt you?
Song Yilin shook her head again: "He's a good person, but we're not compatible. He has his world, and I have mine."
"You sit down, I'll go make some food."
Song Yilin walked to Bai Ye's balcony and saw that figure was still there.
The aroma of food wafted into the kitchen, and Song Yilin felt nauseous upon smelling it, so she ran to the toilet and vomited violently.
