Li Su'er's cooking skills were surprisingly good; Chen Yang could only assist her throughout the entire meal. Jiang Yining, on the other hand, was afraid of fire, so she obediently sat in the dining room playing mobile games.
After a hearty meal, Chen Yang produced two work contracts, which both women readily signed.
"I'm mainly in charge of the kitchen, making tea, and some guest reception. Yining is in charge of guest reception and registration. Everything else is up to you and Brother Wang. We'll follow your instructions."
Li Su'er said.
“Su’er is a senior tea master,” Jiang Yining added softly.
Li Su'er was a little annoyed by Chen Yang's surprised look.
"What, you don't believe me? Go wait at the tea table."
After saying that, she strode back to her room.
"Brother Yang, could I borrow your kettle?"
Jiang Yining silently began to fetch water, while Chen Yang grew somewhat expectant.
About ten minutes later.
"Brother Yang, look behind you."
Chen Yang turned his head upon hearing the sound, and immediately couldn't take his eyes off it.
Li Su'er, dressed in a plain cheongsam, with her hair up, stood quietly behind Chen Yang, holding a tea set.
Her eyes were bright, almost dripping with water, and her usually raised eyebrows were now so soft. Her cheeks were slightly flushed, as if the soft morning light had been applied to her face.
"Haha, I love seeing you men looking stunned."
Li Su'er's demeanor suddenly changed, and she smiled happily.
Chen Yang scratched his head somewhat awkwardly, while Jiang Yining smiled but remained silent. Clearly, this wasn't the first time she'd witnessed such a scene.
Li Su'er sat down with the tea set in hand, while Jiang Yining placed the freshly boiled water aside. The two worked together seamlessly.
The title of "senior tea master" is well-deserved. Although Chen Yang doesn't know much about tea, Li Su'er's movements are still very pleasing to the eye.
"Ah Yang, is there heating? It's too cold wearing a cheongsam."
As soon as she finished brewing the tea, Li Su'er broke down, looking pitiful.
"Put on a coat first. The tea room doesn't have heating."
When Chen Yang brought over the coat, the European Emperor had already fallen into the clutches of the two women again.
After finishing their tea, Chen Yang showed the two women around the inn, highlighting the various guest rooms. Then he took them for a walk around the neighborhood and had dinner with them.
"I'm going to rest at eight o'clock. Here are the car keys for you two. You can go out or rest as you please."
Although it was their first day meeting, Chen Yang was quite at ease with the two women. Besides, they had just signed a contract, and he still had copies of their ID cards with him, so he wasn't worried that they would just drive off.
Li Su'er stared at Chen Yang incredulously, "Are you an old man from the 1960s? It's just getting dark, life is just beginning."
"I have a fairly regular lifestyle."
Chen Yang doesn't plan to tell them about the Micro World for the time being, since he himself hasn't figured it out yet.
Speaking of which, he still has three invitation codes this month, which can be used to increase the number of users in the micro-world. Once he's familiar with the micro-world, he can consider letting the two women and Wang Bing join as well.
"I want to see the night view of West Lake; it's been several years since I've been here."
"Alright, Yining, let's go by ourselves. Someone missed a great opportunity to take a nighttime stroll around West Lake with two beauties."
Li Su'er grabbed the key and obediently handed it to Jiang Yining.
Chen Yang watched them leave, then took the European Emperor back to his room.
After watching numerous survival shows yesterday, he changed his plans and decided to find food first.
While I'm full in real time, my body in the micro-world is still hungry.
Starting a fire is difficult even for survival experts, let alone him. He simply doesn't have the strength to live without being well-fed.
Most importantly, he lacked tools and needed to sharpen a wooden drill for fire. Given his current situation, he could only use a sharp stone instead.
After patiently waiting until eight o'clock, Chen Yang lay down on the bed, entered the micro-world, and fell asleep.
When he opened his eyes again, he was already inside the small wooden house.
"Fortunately, there's still a shelter. We don't have to build one ourselves."
Chen Yang didn't rush out. He was so focused on keeping track of time at midnight that he forgot about the reward he could claim. Now, of course, he should claim the reward first.
After clicking to claim, a gleaming military knife appeared in his hand.
"There are even attribute descriptions, it's like an online game."
The Unyielding Blade: Incredibly sharp and never wears out.
The simple eight-character description thrilled Chen Yang. This was practically the perfect survival tool, with the incredible attribute of never wearing out.
"Excellent, excellent, a timely help indeed."
He made a couple of strokes in the air and was quite satisfied; at least he had a tool to whittle the wood. He had originally planned to crack the stone and use the sharp edge as a knife.
"A dog and a knife to start with, that's it!"
Chen Yang walked out of the cabin with great interest. The first thing he did was find the strawberry bush from yesterday, pick the rest, and wrap them in a few large leaves. Then he headed towards the lake.
Food is easier to find near water, and it's a good opportunity to see if there are any creatures nearby. If so, we should be able to spot some by the lake.
Before he even reached the lake, Chen Yang was convinced that there were living beings in this world, because several butterflies were fluttering in front of him.
"Eee!"
The European Emperor opened its eyes and chirped at the butterfly, seemingly very interested.
"These are inedible, let's keep going."
The lake is still some distance from the cabin, although it is visible to the naked eye that it is several kilometers away.
What limited Chen Yang's speed the most was the weeds on the ground. Since he was barefoot, the sharp edges of the grass scratched his feet, making him very uncomfortable. He could only take one step at a time, and his speed was surprisingly slow.
"Holy crap, a rabbit!"
Chen Yang saw a wild rabbit leap past him like lightning, disappear into the haystack, and vanish in the blink of an eye.
"There's definitely a rabbit hutch there. Just wait, I'll deal with you later."
Before the European Emperor grew up, hunting rabbits was a bit difficult, but watching a survival show for a night proved useful. He learned that he could block the rabbit's burrow and then use smoke to catch it.
However, that was contingent on having fire, so Chen Yang decided to let the rabbit go for now and deal with it later.
"You lucky guy, you need to grow up quickly so you can catch rabbits and pheasants for me every day."
Chen Yang patted Ou Huang's little head and said something. Ou Huang rubbed his hand comfortably, completely unaware of what Chen Yang was talking about.
Although he walked slowly, step by step, Chen Yang still made it to the lakeside.
The lake water was crystal clear, flowing gently in the breeze, its surface reflecting the distant mountains. It was breathtakingly beautiful.
Chen Yang was completely captivated by the scenery. He loved to travel, largely because of his love for nature, which could even be described as worship.
"Water is like the horizontal waves of eyes, and mountains are like the gathering of eyebrows."
Chen Yang suddenly remembered a poem, though he had forgotten where he saw it or who the author was, but it was very fitting for the moment. The landscape was like a beautiful woman, so captivating that one could not bear to look away.
After enjoying the beautiful scenery, Chen Yang remembered that he still had important things to do.
The lake is very large, and there must be plenty of flora and fauna around it. The key problem is that Chen Yang doesn't recognize most of the plants, doesn't know which ones are edible, and can forget about catching any animals.
"I'll look for it and hopefully find something I recognize. I'll look for a plant encyclopedia tomorrow. I need to learn; learning makes me happy."
He muttered to himself as he searched for food along the lakeshore; he didn't want to starve to death in the micro-world.
die?
Chen Yang paused, suddenly thinking of a question.
What if I die in the micro-world?
"After the Lord of the Realm dies within the Micro Realm, he will return to the center of the Realm and lose his mobility for three days. After a citizen of the Realm dies within the Micro Realm, he must wait one month before he can re-enter the Micro Realm."
A line of text appeared before his eyes.
"It's really convenient and intelligent. I like it." He muttered to himself, then thought of the Encyclopedia of Plants in his mind, hoping that the Micro-World could display it directly. Unfortunately, there was no response, so he had to give up. This mysterious Micro-World system really didn't listen to him.
"I think they mentioned 'Boundary Heart' earlier, which must be the little cabin. It sounds really awesome."
