Soon all three heard footsteps, and there was a loud knocking on the door of the next room. When no one answered, they kicked the door open.
Then came the woman's screams and the man's shouts. Upon hearing this, Wang Tao laughed gleefully, "Serves you right, you schemed against me."
When Lin Wangshu and Shen Jiaojiao arrived, they saw this chaotic scene: Jiang Changyi and An Ran were being dragged out, their clothes disheveled.
An Ran could only cry loudly, while Jiang Changyi roared angrily, "Let me go! I am a soldier, you have no right to arrest me!"
The man who led the arrest sneered, "Behave yourselves. We'll talk about it when we take you back."
Jiang Changyi gritted his teeth and struggled for a moment. When he saw Lin Wangshu standing in front of him, he seemed to realize something and said, "It was you? You did this, didn't you?"
"Why won't you leave me alone! You've ruined me!"
He suddenly lunged forward, his eyes bloodshot as he looked at Lin Wangshu. Shen Jiaojiao screamed in fright, and Lin Wangshu quickly shielded her behind him. After giving Jiang Changyi a disgusted look, she immediately looked away.
Jiang Changyi was greatly provoked. "Say something! Curse me! You all look down on me, treat me like trash, and won't even say a word to me."
An Ran also saw Lin Wangshu. She looked at her as if she had seen a savior. "Wangshu, save me! Don't let them take me away!"
Lin Wangshu looked at her tear-stained face and the hair stuck to her cheek, without a trace of sympathy in his eyes, and slowly shook his head at her.
Hearing An Ran call out to Lin Wangshu, Jiang Weidong, who was inside the house, immediately got up and pushed open the door.
When Jiang Weidong saw Lin Wangshu standing in the corridor, he panicked, quickly walked over, and pulled her aside. "Wangshu, what brings you here?"
