When He Tiantian woke up in the morning, she found herself wrapped around Shen Yizhou like a giant octopus. She was startled and immediately pulled her feet and hands back.
She glanced at Shen Yizhou's face. Thank goodness! He hadn't woken up yet. He Tiantian breathed a sigh of relief and grabbed her toiletries before heading to the bathroom.
She was determined to take a shower; she felt so uncomfortable yesterday because she hadn't showered and her whole body felt sticky. After closing the door tightly, she started taking a shower.
After washing up, He Tiantian dried her hair and walked out of the bathroom. She took a shower and felt completely relaxed.
She looked at Shen Yizhou, who was still sleeping on the bed, and walked to the balcony. A sea breeze blew across her face, just in time to dry her hair.
She looked down at the beach, which was crowded yesterday, but today it was deserted, except for a few people playing in the resort's swimming pool.
Shen Yizhou opened his eyes. He had slept exceptionally well, and his mind was much clearer. Lately, his head had always felt foggy, but today he felt much better.
He turned his head and glanced around; He Tiantian was no longer in bed. He sat up and called out, "He Tiantian?"
"What's wrong?" He Tiantian walked in from outside the balcony.
"Why did you go to the balcony?" Shen Yizhou looked at He Tiantian. She must have just finished showering, as her hair was still wet.
"I washed my hair, and I saw you were sleeping without a hairdryer, so you were out enjoying the sea breeze." He Tiantian looked at Shen Yizhou's dazed expression and found it strangely cute.
"Are you hungry? Let me take a shower and then we'll have breakfast," Shen Yizhou asked He Tiantian.
"Give me a blow dry first!" He Tiantian said and ran into the bathroom. She turned on the hairdryer and started drying her hair. The sea breeze was a bit chilly, and her head was starting to hurt.
After drying her hair, she put down the hairdryer, combed her hair a few times, and looked at her hair, which seemed to have grown quite a bit longer.
"I'm all done, Zhouzhou, go take a shower now," He Tiantian said as she came out and looked at Shen Yizhou.
Shen Yizhou nodded, picked up his change of clothes, and went into the bathroom.
He Tiantian squatted down and rummaged through the bag for clothes. She was going to investigate clues today, so she decided to wear something practical. She picked out a white top and black jeans.
She drew the curtains and started changing her clothes. After she finished, she went to the full-length mirror by the door and looked at herself. Hmm, not bad, these pants are awesome! They make her legs look super long!
She then picked up the sunscreen and applied it all over her body.
After getting ready, Shen Yizhou still hadn't come out, so she simply turned on the TV and started watching. She tuned to the movie channel, where a funny animated film was playing, and she watched it with great interest.
Shen Yizhou came out after drying his hair and saw He Tiantian lying on the bed watching cartoons.
"Let's go, I'm done." Shen Yizhou patted He Tiantian's leg, signaling her to leave.
He Tiantian got up, her head was a little sore and she was a little dizzy. She lost her balance and fell forward. Shen Yizhou caught her before she fell.
He looked at He Tiantian with disdain, "Can't you even walk properly anymore?"
"I have a bit of a headache and feel a little dizzy. I wonder if it's because I've been in the sea breeze too much," He Tiantian said, frowning.
Shen Yizhou massaged He Tiantian's temples. "Can we still go eat? Should I call them back?"
"It's okay, I feel much better now, let's go." He Tiantian grabbed Shen Yizhou's clothes as they walked.
Shen Yizhou put the room key in his pocket and opened the door. He took He Tiantian's hand and walked ahead.
The two took the elevator to the breakfast restaurant on the second floor.
As soon as He Tiantian walked in, her headache instantly disappeared, surrounded by all kinds of delicious food.
Shen Yizhou had already prepared the plates. "Take a look and put what you want to eat on the plate."
He Tiantian ordered a plate of stir-fried beef noodles, two cups of soy milk, a basket of crab roe soup dumplings, and a basket of crystal shrimp dumplings.
"That's all for now. See if there's anything else you'd like to eat." He Tiantian looked at the things she had taken with satisfaction.
Shen Yizhou took an extra serving of salted bone porridge and went to pay the bill.
He Tiantian had already found a seat; she needed to eat well to have the energy to work!
After paying the bill, Shen Yizhou brought over breakfast. He Tiantian picked it up and ate it without thinking. Suddenly, she thought of the older brother from yesterday.
"Zhouzhou, do you think we won't run into that older brother again today?" He Tiantian deflated like a punctured balloon at the thought of that older brother.
"We'll just take a detour today; they should be waiting for us downstairs," Shen Yizhou said sensibly.
He Tiantian thought so too; these older men didn't even know where they lived, so they couldn't find them.
After finishing their meal, the two took the elevator to the 13th floor. At first glance, they saw that room 1306 was surrounded by police tape.
Shen Yizhou took out gloves from his pocket and put them on, then gave another pair of gloves to He Tiantian.
He Tiantian looked at Shen Yizhou in surprise, "Where did you get this?"
"I just got it downstairs." After saying that, Shen Yizhou took out a room key from his pocket, and the door opened with a beep.
"Where did you get this room key?" He Tiantian asked Shen Yizhou in confusion.
"I went to the front desk to get it before entering the timeline," Shen Yizhou said calmly before stepping into the room.
"She's willing to give this to you? No way!" He Tiantian still grabbed Shen Yizhou in disbelief.
"I told her I was a resident of room 1306, and after she looked at the invitation, she gave me a card." Shen Yizhou slapped He Tiantian's hand away and went inside.
He Tiantian gave a meaningful "oh" and followed them inside, where a strong smell of smoke and alcohol hit them.
Shen Yizhou carefully observed the crime scene evidence on the floor and the position Tian Leyu was in when she was found, lying on the ground.
He Tiantian walked into the bathroom alone. She looked at the dirty bathtub and saw a pool of liquid that looked like either wine or urine.
