Shen Yizhou also looked in the mirror and saw that he was indeed much brighter. He would use He Tiantian's skincare products from now on.
He Tiantian looked at Shen Yizhou. She never expected him to be so vain.
He Tiantian walked into the living room, grabbed a bottle of coconut water from the refrigerator, and started watching the detective variety show she hadn't finished watching.
With a loud bang, the thunder outside grew louder and louder, and the rain poured down even harder, pounding against the glass. He Tiantian was a little scared, so she drew the curtains.
The wind made the doors and windows rattle loudly.
Shen Yizhou walked over and sat down next to her. "Shall I cook you a bowl of noodles?"
He Tiantian glanced at the time; it was exactly twelve o'clock. "Okay, I want one with soup."
Shen Yizhou stood up and went to the kitchen to cook noodles, while He Tiantian watched intently from the living room.
The sound of marbles came from upstairs again. He Tiantian didn't pay attention at first, but after watching TV for a few minutes, she realized that there was no one upstairs anymore...
She pressed the pause button and listened carefully to the sound of the marbles; it was indeed coming from upstairs.
She ran into the kitchen and pulled Shen Yizhou out, "Listen, isn't that the sound of marbles coming from upstairs?"
Shen Yizhou listened carefully; the marbles kept bouncing, as if many marbles had fallen.
The sound stopped abruptly, and the sound of marbles never came again. He Tiantian grabbed Shen Yizhou's hand and said, "I heard this sound in the middle of the night last night. I even counted it. There were more than 20 marbles in total."
"We'll go up and take a look tonight. Don't pay attention to anything you hear right now; it might just be a ploy to lure us up."
After listening to Shen Yizhou's analysis, He Tiantian's mind started racing again. It was indeed possible that they were lured up there and then silenced!
He Tiantian continued watching TV, but then she heard shouting and cursing coming from outside the door. She pressed the pause button again and pressed her ear against the door to listen.
It was the landlady's voice, sounding like she was urging room 403 to pay the rent, though her voice was a bit fierce.
She looked out through the peephole and saw the landlady gesturing wildly as she spoke, while the woman just kept nodding, indicating that she would pay the rent soon.
The little boy stood there blankly to one side.
The landlady left, grumbling and cursing. As the woman pulled the little boy into the house, she glanced at the door of room 404.
Shen Yizhou came out carrying noodles and saw He Tiantian bending over and lying on the peephole.
What are you looking at?
"Oh, the landlady was just yelling at the people across the street to pay their rent, and she was shouting so loudly that I glanced over."
He Tiantian smelled a delicious aroma; it was the noodles that Shen Yizhou had brought out—beef noodles.
"Wow, it smells so good!"
He Tiantian couldn't wait to sit down. She first took a sip of soup, then ate a bite of beef. It was absolutely delicious, even better than what you could buy outside.
She gave Shen Yizhou a thumbs up, "It's so delicious! I think you could open your own shop with this level of cooking skills."
As He Tiantian spoke, she took out 10 yuan from her pocket, "Here's the money, I'll buy this bowl of noodles!"
Shen Yizhou was amused. "This beef is worth more than 10 yuan. He Tiantian, you're being too stingy."
He Tiantian's eyes widened in shock, "This 10 yuan is all I have left! I used it to buy your beef noodles!!!"
Shen Yizhou laughed out loud, completely forgetting that He Tiantian had no money.
He Tiantian looked at Shen Yizhou with disdain. She ate the whole bowl of noodles, leaving not a drop of soup.
He Tiantian plopped down on the sofa, crossed her legs, and thought to herself that if she could, she would definitely marry Shen Yizhou.
Shen Yizhou washed the dishes, took a bottle of coconut water and drank it. He fell in love with the taste at first sip, no wonder He Tiantian loved it so much.
"Shen Yizhou! Get me a bottle!!"
He Tiantian shouted, startling Shen Yizhou. Why did he feel like he had been caught sneaking a drink?
He opened the refrigerator door and found that there were only five or six bottles of coconut water left. He needed to go and restock. He took one bottle out and went to the living room.
He Tiantian unscrewed the cap and started drinking. She picked up the remote and chose a movie to watch—a romance film, of course!
The two watched the movie in silence. When the male and female leads kissed, He Tiantian became a little nervous and secretly glanced at Shen Yizhou.
She froze, and Shen Yizhou actually fell asleep.
His head slumped on the sofa, his arms crossed over his chest, and He Tiantian could hear his even breathing.
She sighed, took a blanket from the room, and gently covered him with it.
How dare she! She deliberately chose this time, how could she still fall asleep? It's outrageous!
She pressed the pause button and silently watched Shen Yizhou's sleeping face. His profile was just too perfect. Those sexy lips looked so kissable.
He Tiantian shook her head, wondering what she was thinking! How strange…
She turned her head away from Shen Yizhou and changed the movie to watch, this time a touching family drama.
She cried as she watched, but dared not cry out loud. She could only cover her mouth and stifle her sobs, and snot came out of her nose.
Shen Yizhou opened his eyes groggily, surprised that he had actually fallen asleep. He turned his head and saw that He Tiantian seemed to be crying.
Her body was twitching, and she was covering her mouth to keep quiet. What was she doing?
"He Tiantian, why are you crying?" Shen Yizhou frowned as he looked at He Tiantian.
She turned her head awkwardly, grabbed a few tissues, and wiped away her tears and snot.
"This movie is so touching, sob sob sob."
He Tiantian pointed to the movie playing on the TV. Shen Yizhou was stunned for a moment. Can you cry while watching a movie?
