Tap, tap, tap, tap.
A jumble of noises came from upstairs, like the sound of many marbles falling to the ground.
She slowly stood up and secretly went up the stairs to the 5th floor. Sure enough, the door to room 504 was open.
He Tiantian quietly approached the door. There was a man in a suit kneeling on the ground, looking at the marbles scattered all over the floor.
The person seemed to notice He Tiantian's presence and turned around to look.
"Who are you? What are you doing here!"
He Tiantian was slightly shocked. He looked like a man, but his voice was that of a woman.
"I live downstairs. I heard noises upstairs, so I thought I'd come up and check..."
"Get out! Don't ever come back into this room!!"
As he spoke, the man threw a bottle at He Tiantian, who dodged it by sidestepping.
Seeing the person on the ground gradually collapse, she hesitated again and again before choosing to walk away. When she returned home, Shen Yizhou had already woken up.
"You went out? Did you buy breakfast?"
"Yes, I just went upstairs and saw a very strange person."
He Tiantian frowned. Was this person related to Li Rou? She looked very sad.

"No wonder he went out drinking heavily; he was actually drinking to drown his sorrows?"
That's undeniable; even Li Rou's husband wouldn't have the guts.
Shen Yizhou had a headache, probably because he hadn't slept well last night.
"I'm going to sleep for a while longer. Wake me up if I get hungry later."
"Okay, go to sleep."
Shen Yizhou walked into the room, his head throbbing so badly it felt like it was going to explode; he hadn't felt this way in a long time.
He Tiantian was sitting in the living room in a relaxed pose, drinking coconut water.
There was a commotion downstairs, so she immediately got up and went to the window—she was looking for some gossip!
It turned out that two elderly women were fighting over the last piece of green vegetable, and the owner was a very young man.
He felt somewhat helpless; he had no way to deal with the two arguing old women.
The argument lasted for a full half hour before the old women finally stopped, because the vegetable had been snatched away.
The old women spat at each other and threw half-eaten vegetables on the ground. The young man was very helpless, as he would earn a few less dollars today.
A man in a suit walked out of the downstairs main entrance and brushed past Li Rou's husband.
Li Rou's husband walked home as if nothing had happened, followed by two cleaning staff.
It looks like they specifically hired someone to clean up the scene.
The man in the suit stopped and turned to look at Li Rou's husband's back, which He Tiantian could now see clearly.
The person was wearing sunglasses. He Tiantian took out a photo and started comparing it. Except for the eyes, the lips and face shape were exactly the same.
So the person I saw upstairs this morning was actually Li Rou's boyfriend.
He Tiantian watched her get into the car, a bright red sports car that made a buzzing sound as it drove away.
As she watched the car drive away, a bad feeling crept into her heart.
Soon, noises came from upstairs, including the sound of something being moved and things being dismantled.
Shen Yizhou was woken up by the noise. He walked out of the living room with a gloomy expression, sat down next to He Tiantian, and lit a cigarette.
He Tiantian saw that his eyes were closed, and she could tell at a glance that he had been woken up by the noise from upstairs, and he was probably very unhappy about it.
She went to the kitchen, took out a bottle of coconut water, unscrewed it, and handed it to Shen Yizhou.
He frowned, looking quite agitated.
He Tiantian heard Li Rou's husband cursing from upstairs, but she only caught one sentence.
[Damn it, where did all these marbles come from under the sofa? What's this woman up to?]
Shen Yizhou's patience had finally snapped, and he walked up the stairs to room 504.
"Could you please keep your voice down? You're disturbing the people downstairs, you know?"
Li Rou's husband was somewhat unconvinced, and he approached Shen Yizhou with his beer belly sticking out.
"Damn it, do I need you to teach me how to do things?"
Shen Yizhou wanted to retort, but He Tiantian covered his mouth and walked away.
At this moment, the resident of apartment 503 on the 5th floor came out and said, "Brother, I have a child at home, could you please keep your voice down?"
"Can't you all stop making such a fuss? I'm cleaning up here!"
"You don't need to be so loud. My baby is only a month old and keeps crying because of the noise."
The resident of 503 closed the door after speaking, too lazy to argue with this scoundrel. He started causing trouble as soon as he got home, so the police should arrest him.
Wu Xiong spat at 503, "You bitch, all you do is cause trouble!"
He then looked at Shen Yizhou and He Tiantian standing at the top of the stairs.
"You two better get out of here. You're getting in my way. I spit on you!"
Shen Yizhou's anger had reached its peak, and he rushed forward and punched Wu Xiong.
He used all his strength, and Wu Xiong even had one of his teeth knocked out. He lay on the ground covering his mouth, howling.
Hearing the commotion, the landlady came downstairs. She looked at Wu Xiong lying on the ground, and pushed He Tiantian and Shen Yizhou downstairs.
"You two hurry back, this deadbeat might try to extort money from you! Don't go out unless you have to."
