Chapter 791 The Mob 12 (2/2)

“You’re not exactly an ordinary person…” Xiao Hei muttered.

A few people jogged over and stuffed the snacks they had collected into Fang Zhiyi's hands: "Boss, you're really awesome! I thought we were going to starve to death!"

"Hurry up and eat something. You haven't eaten anything since yesterday," Chen Rui said. He had observed carefully that Fang Zhiyi hadn't spoken to them even though she was hungry.

Fang Zhiyi reached out and took the thing he handed her. It was a small cake sealed in a packaging bag. It was quite a miracle that it hadn't leaked air after surviving the water and earthquake.

"Are we really going to take all these people with us?" Chen Rui asked.

Fang Zhiyi nodded.

"Why go north?" Chen Rui continued to ask.

Fang Zhiyi glanced at him and suddenly laughed, "Spit it out if you have something to say."

Chen Rui stared intently into Fang Zhiyi's eyes: "I want to know, how did you know that? I believe you found the supplies through observation, because I saw the map you drew. I also believe you guessed about the plague, but the earthquake..."

Fang Zhiyi glanced at the people surrounding him; they had all come out of Building 17 with him.

"You really want to know?"

Chen Rui suddenly felt a little flustered: "It's okay if you don't want to talk about it."

"I can tell fortunes."

"..." Chen Rui rolled his eyes, and Li Duo slapped him: "Why are you so curious?"

Zhao Hu said in a muffled voice, "Maybe it's just that the eldest brother is lucky. You guys don't know, but I heard my grandma say that before a disaster strikes, the animals and livestock at home can sense it even before people..."

Fang Zhiyi looked at him, but Zhao Hu didn't notice anything was wrong until his girlfriend slapped him too.

"Are you insulting me?" Fang Zhiyi asked.

Zhao Hu exclaimed in confusion, "What... oh... damn it!" He covered his mouth.

"Putting everything else aside, with so many people, we won't get far," Chen Rui said, looking at the survivors who were still searching for food.

“Without those people, we won’t go much further.” Fang Zhiyi also looked over.

In his eyes, a father had found a bag of flattened bread and was happily sharing it with his wife and children behind him.

He suddenly remembered something, glanced down at the packaging bag in his hand, and said, "Humans can be really amazing sometimes."

"How so?"

"It's not expired yet!" Fang Zhiyi pointed to the expiration date on the packaging.

In the struggle for survival resources, humans began to kill each other, and the true apocalypse began.

"Stop! Hand over the stuff!" A woman carrying a roll of cloth was startled by the sudden shout.

She looked around in a panic. Several tall men poked their heads out of the ruins, some holding hammers and others carrying homemade spiked clubs.

"Hey, it's a woman! Brothers!" The leader showed a mouthful of yellow teeth.

"Hehe, sure enough, you can find someone by squatting here."

"What are you holding! Give it to me!" A man who was nearby snatched the cloth from the woman's hands. Judging from the woman's posture, it was a baby.

"Children's flesh... um?" The other man standing next to him craned his neck greedily, but what he saw left him speechless.
