Mo Chen's lips curled up slightly; he thought he would probably never be able to atone for his sins in this lifetime.

Just as Mo Chen was awaiting his death, the door to a separate room not far away was kicked open, and a woman in red with flowing hair walked quickly toward him.
Mo Chen watched as the woman in red walked towards him with a chilling expression, his smile widening. "You, you're finally awake, Hua Yuxian, I..."
Mo Chen suddenly burst into tears. His throat moved, but he couldn't say anything more. He spat out a mouthful of blood, then his hands fell limply to the side, his head tilted to the side, and he slowly closed his eyes.

As Mo Chen closed his eyes, Hua Yuxian called out his name with heart-wrenching despair.
At the entrance to the basement, Gu Liyan and Hua Baixian had just gotten out of the car when they suddenly heard a familiar voice, and they were both taken aback.
"Did I hear that right? That voice just now sounded like Hua Yuxian?" Gu Liyan looked at Hua Baixian in surprise.
“You heard me right, it’s my sister’s voice too.” Hua Baixian nodded and said.
"Could it be that she's not dead?" Gu Liyan's expression changed drastically. "Oh no, Mo Chen!"
Gu Liyan and Hua Baixian hurriedly went down to the basement.
Seeing Mo Chen dead, the illusory soul snorted coldly and left.
Hua Yuxian came to Mo Chen's side and saw him lying on the ground, lifeless. In an instant, she felt an indescribable pain in her heart.
"How could this be? How could you die? Mo Chen..." Hua Yuxian stared blankly at Mo Chen, muttering to herself, "Aren't you the Punisher? Aren't you immortal?"
