Chapter 19: Special Feelings for Mr. Jiang
Chen Qing's fingers trembled uncontrollably.
Mrs. Luo noticed it and hung up the phone.
"Qing'er." She looked in the mirror, "I know you have special feelings for Mr. Jiang."
Chen Qing's pupils suddenly dilated.
"I've been taking care of you since you were little, so it's hard for him to control you too much after he gets married. You're worried, aren't you?"
She secretly breathed a sigh of relief and shook her head, "No."
Mrs. Luo patted the back of her hand, her eyes fondly, "You rely on Mr. Jiang. Your uncle Luo and I know that. The Luo family will still be your home in the future. Qing'er will not be left without love."
Chen Qing's nose felt sore, and he forced a smile, "I know."
After the performance, Mrs. Luo had to socialize with the teachers. She lied that she was tired and went back to the hotel to pack her luggage.
Suddenly, a card fell out of his clothes.
She pinched the corner of her clothes and was in a daze for a long time.
Ever since she broke up with Jiang Jingyan last time, she has thought about everything that might happen.
I just didn't expect the pain to be so out of control.
Chen Qing clutched his chest, slowly squatted down, and picked up the card given by Jiang Jingyan.
This is their end.
An irreversible yet reasonable ending.
Okay.
A short pain is worse than a long pain.
Mr. Luo is right. Even if the information Jiang Jingyan disclosed was just hearsay, it was tacitly approved.
Chen Qing took deep breaths, but his chest still felt stuffy.
She ran to the window and pushed it open. The cold wind rushed in, drowning her mouth and nose.
A feeling of suffocation that can't be shaken off no matter what.
On the second day after returning to school, Chen Qing had a high fever.
She made an appointment with her counselor to coordinate the time for classes and rehearsals so as not to be late.
The sun makes people feel warm all over. There are still three days before school starts, and there are many students who live far away from home and have reported to the campus early.
Chen Qing was drowsy and accidentally bumped into the crowd. He apologized all the way to the office and handed the recommendation letter to the counselor for review and confirmation.
"Master Cui from the Chinese Folk Orchestra?" the instructor was surprised. "Chen Qing, what a great opportunity! Are you familiar with him?"
Chen Qing's throat was dry and hoarse, and he shook his head to explain, "I happened to meet him while working part-time."
"This is such a coincidence." The instructor said in a meaningful tone.
All the teachers in the department had heard some of the rumors about Chen Qing.
The instructor couldn't ask openly due to her status, and there were many rich or noble students in this school. She was well aware of Chen Qing's family conditions. It was too strange to say that such a rare opportunity was a "coincidence".
There's a good chance the rumors are true.
Chen Qing had a splitting headache and was anxious to get a leave note.
The counselor returned the recommendation letter to her and said, "The rehearsal time is not fixed. If you come back too late, it will disturb other students' rest."
"I rented a house off campus. If it's past my dorm time, I'll come back the next day."
"That won't work. I have to consider your personal safety. The school has repeatedly stated that students are not allowed to live outside without permission. How are you going to rent a house?"
No matter how much I went around in circles, the counselor just refused to approve my leave application.
Chen Qing was helpless and angry.
Before coming, she asked her senior, and she found out that it was not uncommon to take on off-campus performances.
The school can only provide limited opportunities for students to perform professionally, and there are too many people for too few opportunities. Some of the students who were slightly famous in previous classes have also won the opportunities on their own. After all, the students have made good achievements and the school is honored, so the counselors will generally make concessions.
How come it became difficult to reach her?
In fact, the instructor had a selfish motive. She wanted to see the extent of the relationship between Chen Qing and Master Cui.
If Chen Qing could get Master Cui to come and negotiate in person, she could mention the matter of giving a lecture at the school. By then, the department would look upon her with a higher regard.
But Chen Qing didn't notice it. After leaving the building, he stood at the door in a daze.
The sun was shining brightly today, and besides her forehead feeling hot, her body was also chilly.
Mrs. Luo said that if communication with the school fails, ask her for help.
But Chen Qing didn't want to trouble her to come forward.
After going to college, Jiang Jingyan's identity could not be mentioned, and she was told that she could move out of the Luo family if she encountered any problems.
Chen Qing never did this once.
After a long while, she took out her cell phone.
I have to join the group tomorrow, and I can’t think of any other way, so I can only contact a professional teacher and give it a try.
Their professional teachers are specially hired and have a high status, so they may be able to help.
Feeling dizzy, Chen Qing groped his way to the edge of the flower bed and squatted down.
Suddenly, she heard footsteps and voices behind her, and she stood up to make way.
"Qing'er?"
Chen Qing turned his head.
Yan Baiqing and several school leaders walked down the stairs.
