Day 30 of customs clearance
"What?! Impossible!!"
After the oracle finished speaking, Robin had the strongest reaction. How could Batman be infected!
The Joker isn't missing? Robin wondered, then realized he was excluded. He was numb to it all.
That despicable bat tradition!
Robin, with a stern face, looked at the troublemaker's slightly guilty expression. If Batman and Red Robin were still in front of him, he felt he would definitely draw his sword.
Is he not trustworthy? And what's with Batman being infected with the Joker virus?
Robin didn't believe it. If Oracle hadn't been unconscious, he would have pressed her to tell him how she knew and what it meant for Batman to tell Todd.
Why only tell Todd?!
Robin's suppressed anger continued to build.
The troublemakers stopped the restless oracle from waking the unconscious Robin.
“Robin, calm down. Let’s go find Arkham Knight first. Although we don’t know Batman’s intentions, he must have his reasons. Dwelling on this issue will only cause us to miss the opportunity.”
Having overheard some seemingly insignificant things, Kang sent the oracle's words to Red Robin. Red Robin had no idea about the current drama, and they kept it a secret from each other, unable to open their hearts to one another.
Kang pondered for a moment. These seemed to be standard equipment for the Bat family, so it should be perfectly normal, but he wasn't sure.
Then look at Robin, who seems about to start a fight, and the troublemaker; Kang doesn't want to participate in the internal communication within the Bat family.
The three men made a encrypted call among the mercenaries who had fallen to the ground and were oblivious to the situation, always trying to attack them.
In short, Kang could only guess from their unhappy expressions that the two were having a huge argument on a private channel.
After Kang finished typing, his brain finally caught up with his typing speed. Batman might be infected with the Joker virus, so what about Alfred, who was with him?
Red Robin went back alone... Kang had a bad feeling.
The fact that the communicator failed to provide timely feedback only added to Kang's concern.
A few steps away, the troublemaker and Robin exchanged information, but unfortunately, they were unaware of either Batman's secret dealings or the recent clandestine activities of the Arkham Knights.
The only one who might know more is Red Robin, but Red Robin is currently at Wayne Manor.
The troublemaker looked at Superboy and asked, "Have you been in contact with Red Robin?"
Superboy shook his head, his gesture revealing the answer.
The troublemaker forced a smile: "That would be terrible."
With the only intellectual figure missing, the somewhat reliable Oracle still in a coma, the troublemakers in the argument not expecting Robin to be calm about Batman's predicament, and Superboy unfamiliar with Gotham.
The troublemaker: "Superboy, I'll leave the Oracle to you for now. Keep in touch with Red Robin until he replies. Robin and I are going to rescue Nightwing. We'll meet at the base's transmitter."
Superboy received the divine decree, and the troublemakers and Robin in front of him had somehow reached an agreement... well, bats.
He slowly rose up: "Be careful then. See you at the transmitter center. Remember to contact me via communicator if you encounter any trouble."
After Superman appeared, all the buildings in the world that could contain lead were made to contain it, and Gotham City was no exception. The newly built Arkham Knights base was completely covered with lead.
He couldn't hear the voices calling him through the lead layer.
However, it's better not to contact him at all.
Meanwhile, Adrian was watching the surveillance footage closely, and his expression changed after he learned that Batman had been infected with the Joker virus.
He couldn't help but think of the clown virus infected in the incident where he killed the cloned scarecrow—a mad, twisted, and irrational being.
Besides, Adrian didn't mishear.
"Batman is going to tell Arkham Knight," but what's the connection here?
The game's progression is captivating, and Adrian is definitely a blissful idiot.
As the troublemakers and Robin continued to approach the central prison, Adrian ordered his men to temporarily remove the guards from the prison and send them with Kryptonite to intercept Superboy.
Luthor not only sponsored their launchers but also their Paramecia-specific weapon, Kryptonite.
Adrian needs to deal with the strongest fighters first before he can besiege the central prison and capture the Bat Vigilante.
With the superhuman vigilante buff, it's a pipe dream for the bat-type vigilantes to try and take them down head-on in one go!
Adrian hadn't forgotten the explosion that had caused someone to rip open the roof with their bare hands. He activated all his combat plug-ins, knocked off the cast on his leg to prevent it from hindering his movements, and then went to the Arkham Knights' armory to grab a high-intensity pulse wave kryptonite gun before leaving.
The pulse wave kryptonite gun was also a gift from Luther. At first, he thought it was just a resource exchange, but now it seems to be very useful.
From above the Arkham Knights base, one can see countless heads surging toward the central red dot, falling one after another as they move forward in waves.
The trampled and submerged pockmarked individuals used various methods to infiltrate the main force and continue their charge.
The mercenaries who rushed forward were all thrown out by Superboy like trash, and the Kryptonite effect only slowed his movements.
Oh, a vigilante from the Superman series.
Adrian casually drew his kryptonite spear and sighed, "No wonder Luther is like an inescapable leech, relentlessly pursuing Superman."
He rushed to the launcher, but just as the progress bar was about to fill up, the system rollback was locked, and Adrian could no longer make up for the failure by repeatedly rolling back.
With only one chance to win or lose, Adrian took advantage of the lull to contact the Knights of Arkham:
“Calling Arkham Knight, calling Arkham Knight.”
"Calling a knight? What happened?"
The sound of the death knell, filled with doubt, reached Adrian's ears.
Adrian: "I didn't look for you."
Deathstroke: "Remember the knight's orders? Report to me Adrian!"
The communication channel remained silent for a long time. Deathstroke felt that Adrian, the knight's subordinate, was always causing trouble and was never as obedient to him as the knight was.
It wasn't a death knell illusion; Adrian was simply disobedient, selectively listening to even the words of the Arkham Knight, choosing to listen only when necessary.
When the base was in trouble and they couldn't contact the Arkham Knights, they were answered by Deathstroke. Adrian could beautify some of the things that had ruined the Knights' image.
Moreover, the base is in chaos right now, and no one can explain exactly what happened.
Adrian had his own thoughts, but he said nonchalantly:
"It's nothing major, just that the Oracle woke up and said that Batman might be infected with the Joker virus."
"What did you say?!"
The death knell fell silent. What did he hear?
Adrian continued speaking slowly and deliberately, finishing what he hadn't finished saying.
"But the boss might run into Batman while dealing with the Joker virus infected who escaped from Batman and took over Arkham Asylum. The Joker virus infected can't threaten the boss, but Batman can."
Then he asked, "Has the eldest son been admitted to a mental hospital?"
Deathstroke stared silently at the eerie gates of Arkham Asylum, where the knight had just entered a minute earlier.
Deathstroke said in a somber tone, "In."
[Note: The death rate of Arkham Knights has increased by 50%]
Players are urged to take measures to reduce the mortality rate.
...It's hard to judge Adrian's feelings. He paused, aiming his pulsed kryptonite gun at Superboy's hand.
Adrian suddenly thought of the protagonist's law.
So the leader he chose won't die so easily, right?
Adrian's eyes were deep and unfathomable, his figure obscured by shadows. The shooting function included in the Arkham Knight combat plugin helped him achieve 100% accuracy and a 90% success rate.
Adrian raised his wrist again and fired a series of kryptonite shockwaves.
As long as Superboy is standing there, he'll definitely be a distraction!
Superboy's sixth sense was pounding wildly in the center of the battlefield. His airborne body moved with his gaze, trying to pinpoint the source of the danger he sensed.
There are no abnormalities.
Before Superboy could feel safe, he suddenly rose rapidly, only to be stopped and forced to descend.
Bang!!
Superboy survived the first wave of blockade but couldn't dodge the second wave of attack. The seemingly invincible figure in the eyes of the mercenaries now fell from the sky like a butterfly with its wings torn off.
The shot-down Superboy crashed to the ground, creating a large crater and sending up clouds of dust.
Superboy coughed up blood and clutched his abdomen with one hand; only kryptonite could harm his steel body.
He'd only ever seen that familiar pulse wave weapon in Luther's lab. Blood kept gushing from the gaping hole in his hand; he was doomed. Superboy remembered the support he'd mentioned—
—It might not work.
As the dust settled, mercenaries wielding kryptonite spears surrounded Superboy.
Adrian stopped paying attention to Superboy after seeing him knocked down from the sky.
He ordered his men to surround the prison and capture the troublemaker and Robin, just enough to keep them alive.
"Boss, aren't you going to continue leading the arrest operation?"
His subordinate felt dizzy. He was dealing with the bat vigilante. What was he doing?
"You've already taken care of Superboy. If all the mercenaries at the base can't handle it, then go to Gotham Bay."
Players who have lost their disguise are especially cold towards unrelated game characters.
Adrian left his terrified men behind. Ten minutes, he only needed ten minutes.
The death knell outside Arkham Asylum was set to rush into the asylum after Adrian fell silent.
