When she awoke again, she was fully awake. She looked out the window; the night was still deep, shrouded in darkness.
Recalling the scene she vaguely saw, she sensed something was amiss.
Gu Xi quickly turned on her bracelet to check the time.
Day 35 on the maritime calendar, 9:20 AM.
Seeing the time, her mind went blank. She quickly got out of bed and ran to the window to look outside.
The ship was illuminated by shark-shaped lights, so it was not dark at all, but the scenery at sea could not be seen at all.
Gu Xi immediately mobilized his mental energy, spreading it outwards to probe the surrounding area.
In the sea, the fish continued their busy work, pushing the boxes and pulling the boat forward. The shark king, as always, lurked underwater near the boat, silently guarding and following it. Except for the continued darkness, everything seemed to be proceeding as planned.
Being able to clearly grasp the current situation brought Gu Xi a sense of relief. She was thankful that the night was not like the misty sea, where even mental probing was greatly interfered with.
