The fish was fast asleep, its arms crossed over its chest, its eyes and teeth tightly shut. Even though Gu Xi had only glanced at it briefly, she could tell it was a very beautiful fish.
From a human aesthetic point of view, this is much prettier than a stingray.

She flipped the box lid over and threw it to the ground.
As for that sleeping fish inside, well, we can completely ignore it. It's obviously dead in its sleep. Maybe all those things outside are just there to seal it away.
