"This is the Bone Clan. They treat humans this way, and they treat all the Deep Sea Clan this way. Don't expect them to have anything left. Otherwise, at the previous Deep Sea Clan meeting, all the Deep Sea Clan members wouldn't have regarded them as a common enemy."
She paused, her tone turning cold: "And humans... are the weakest among them. If they encounter a large-scale ambush by the Bone Clan, they are completely powerless to resist."
Luman's body trembled slightly, as if struck by an invisible force. She bit her lip tightly, her nails digging deep into her palms, almost drawing blood.
With a hint of panic and pleading, she hurriedly said, "Yes, yes! We must strengthen our ties with the Deep Sea Clan!"
Gu Xi didn't say anything more, but used his mental power to summon the octopus.
“Octopus, she’s emotionally unstable right now. Why don’t you take her to rest?”
Luman looked at Gu Xi with reliance, and seeing her firm gaze, a sense of trust and dependence welled up within him.
Her eyes seemed to be telling her not to worry or be afraid, and to leave the rest to her.
Luman's eyes widened as she saw Gu Xi nod at her. She unconsciously nodded in response, and then, supported by the octopus, left the small garden on the third floor.
After Luhmann left, Gu Xi was able to fully concentrate on dealing with the current matter.
She turned to Ais, her eyes resolute. "Ais, use your mental powers to track it. After all, judging from the scene, the tragedy happened not long ago. If it's your ability, you might be able to track it down."
"Pulu~ Don't get your hopes up too high." Ais's voice carried a hint of helplessness.
"Pluh~ Judging from the remaining spiritual energy, I'm pretty sure it's the skull that escaped at the Deep Sea Clan meeting."
"Pfft~ That skull is extremely fast. Since it was able to escape from two SSS-level creatures, it won't be difficult for it to slip away now," Ais added, her tone tinged with seriousness.
Gu Xi understood what Ai Si meant. This skull was extremely cunning and possessed incredible speed, making it no easy task to track down.
But since she'd come this far, she had to give it a try. She worried she'd have nightmares if she didn't keep tracking it down.
"Give it a try." Gu Xi's tone was calm, but it carried an undeniable determination.
Ais nodded, indicating that she understood.
He slowly closed his eyes, his ice-blue hair standing out clearly. His powerful mental energy spread outwards like a tide, silently penetrating every inch of space, searching for any clues.
After a long while, he slowly opened his eyes, the light in them dimming slightly. He shook his head: "Puru~ I can only roughly determine where they went."
Gu Xi's heart tightened. Time was of the essence. Every second wasted allowed the Bone Clan to escape further, and the clues would become increasingly scarce. Relying solely on them to track and fight back was far from enough. The Deep Sea Clan had to join in as well.
“That’s enough,” Gu Xi said, a sharp glint in his eyes. “You stay here to meet Yan Lin. I need to go to Hai Youling’s office. Tell me the approximate location and distance.”
"The Deep Sea Skeleton Clan poses an even greater threat. How can such a crisis be known only to humans? Of course, all Deep Sea creatures must understand!"
The threat posed by the Bone Clan's actions has far exceeded expectations. If all deep-sea creatures do not take this seriously soon, both humanity and the entire deep-sea race will face a tremendous crisis. (This chapter has been read. Please click to continue reading the next chapter!)
