Chapter 363 Sun Yiming Suffers (2/2)

Sun Yiming's eyes lit up, and he nodded repeatedly, "I understand, this business sounds good!"

Gu Xi didn't agree, but suddenly changed the subject, "By the way, what level has your mental strength reached now?"

"Grade A," Sun Yiming answered confidently, puffing out his chest.

Gu Xi breathed a slight sigh of relief. "Not bad. But remember, the lowest level for the Deep Sea Clan is A-rank. If you really want to do the refuge ship business, you'd better improve your strength."

Her tone turned serious. "Some deep-sea creatures are very cunning. They might sneak into the ship at any time and launch a surprise attack. You need to tell the other merchants about this in advance so they can be prepared."

Sun Yiming's expression instantly turned serious. He was so happy when he heard the news that he hadn't thought of this aspect. He quickly nodded and said, "I understand. I'll go tell them right away."

Gu Xi nodded, telling him to go ahead and get busy.

After leaving the restaurant, Sun Yiming immediately summoned the merchants on the ship.

The meeting room was dimly lit, and the businessmen cast distorted shadows on the walls.

As Sun Yiming relayed Gu Xi's words, the once quiet conference room instantly erupted in chaos, and a tense and uneasy atmosphere filled the air.

"What? The Deep Sea Clan might ambush us?" a fat merchant exclaimed, his face turning deathly pale, his obese body trembling slightly.

"Is Gu Xi trying to scare us?" Another tall, thin businessman stood up angrily, his fists clenched, his eyes wide as if they were about to spit fire, and shouted, "I think she just wants to control us!"

"Exactly! We finally escaped the deep sea, and now we have to face this kind of threat?" More complaints followed.

As Sun Yiming watched the crowd complaining, he felt a surge of anxiety and helplessness.

These people are truly ungrateful! Don't they understand the threat posed by the Deep Sea Clan? These merchants only see the surface and are completely unaware of the potential danger.

Seeing that the situation was about to spiral out of control, Sun Yiming slammed his fist on the table. "Enough!" He looked around, his eyes blazing. "Do you want to live or are you looking for trouble? Gu Xi is saving your lives!"

"Help?" The tall, thin businessman sneered. "She just wants us to depend on her!"

Sun Yiming narrowed his eyes, his voice low and dangerous, "What did you say? Without Gu Xi, if you heard about this deal, you would probably all lose your minds."

"Besides, it's not that the Deep Sea Clan will definitely launch a sneak attack; it's just a reminder to everyone to be more careful when cooperating with them!"

The portly businessman interjected, "But—"

"No buts!" Sun Yiming interrupted sharply. "How strong do you think you are? Can you defeat the Deep Sea Clan? If Gu Xi really wanted to control you, would he need to go through all this trouble?"

A hush fell over the conference room. Sun Yiming slowly scanned everyone. "I ask you," he said, "if the Deep Sea Clan were to launch a sneak attack, how many of you would survive?"

No one dared to answer.

Sun Yiming sneered, "Looks like you're not completely stupid. Since that's the case, stop yelling. If you want to live, focus on improving your strength. If you think you can handle things on your own, you can get lost now!"

The merchants looked at each other, their anger gradually fading, replaced by deep worry and a touch of shame.

Seeing everyone's reaction, Sun Yiming softened his tone slightly, "I know everyone is going through a tough time. But we can only survive by uniting. Gu Xi isn't threatening us, she's protecting us. Understand?"

The merchants nodded in agreement; although they still harbored some resentment, their anger had largely dissipated.

Sun Yiming breathed a sigh of relief. "Alright, everyone go back and prepare. We can't be careless with tomorrow's transaction."

As the merchants gradually left, Sun Yiming slumped into a chair, rubbing his temples. He muttered to himself, "Sister Xi, I've really gone through so much for you." (This chapter has been read. Please click to continue reading the next chapter!)
